I agree. For me, I wish 2K would use their foundation they started with 2k12. For me, that was their most epic atmosphere they ever had. 13 was good then they slowly got a little lazy after that. But 2k12 probably had the most authentic sounds and the most chatter about players personalities and such and they just slowly got away from it...

2k17 did pretty good with the rim and net physics of the different arenas but the crowds sound horrible Live nailed the arena sounds but their net and rim physics was wack. Hopefully 2K can capitalize on this by fixing the recycled crowd issue instead of adding and removing features that matter

They spend hours upon hours upon hours on improving AI defense, AI offense, AI in general. Well, you go out there- put effort, score 85 and dish 20 assists- and Shaq yawns while he presents you as Jordan Brand player of the game. No enthusiasm but a dull transition power point effect to the next slide. Replay & Quit game. Wow, thanks.

While we, sim heads - have always preferred to be defiant and loved playing basketball rather than video games - I think the "Atmosphere" part that we used to repress to some extent, has been lost in the mix.

The game made super major strides in every aspect that it is just uncompromisable to leave the 'presentation', 'crowd feedback' lost in the shades.

Obviously I'm still getting the game on day one. And I do believe this will be addressed soon.
You won't always be the best shooter. You won't always be the best rebounder, or defender, either. What you can always do the best though, is play hard. Once you do that, Everything else will take care of itself.

I know what you're saying about Overall Presentation, perhaps im just talking about mainly the halftime/end of game shows and the fact you can replay things super fast by pushing a buttton, and the angles look damn nice.

Read to you by the most robotic version of Jalen Rose you'll ever hear! I cringed more during those halftime shows than anything else. It's so robotic. It's repetitive. Sure it's a cool idea, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

and for the crowd they really need to make a different reaction from quarter to quarter in regular season.allstar playoffs and finals.

I can't stand Mark Jackson or JVG. Having the various commentary crews works for me.
