Corrupted save files are easily the worst thing that can happen to you in this game.

My created player was getting ready to start the season 2 playoffs in My Career when his save file got corrupted a few weeks ago.

It sucks when months of progression can get wiped away in an instant, seemingly for no reason.

Now I just stick to the modes that don't require saves. All I play are quick games and My Team.

As someone who does not have the game, I ask, is the corrupted save issue one that would be mostly solvable had 2K provided an option to save files offline and manually, perhaps with numerous slots (like we could 2K12 and prior)? I never thought I'd view numerous offline manual saves as an exciting feature, but it sounds delightful in theory.

Likely. The problem with corrupted files probably has more to do with 2K's putrid servers than problems with the disk or hard drive.

When I get back to my PS4 after my work trip I'm definitely going to start screenshotting my MyCareer regularly.

Man that doesn't matter. I don't agree with people spending money to make their players better but still..if they take $5 from you, they'd take $20 from another..$50 from another.

Then you got the people that actually believe they "have no records" of your purchases and allow however much money you spent to be wasted. Basically a donation to a game you already spent $60 on, and wasted however many hours just to get a file corrupted.

And I don't see why reporting them to the BBB doesn't work? I had to do the same thing months ago when my file was corrupted just for them to answer. It's there for a reason, use it. There's not much else one person can do but if enough people do it maybe some eyes will open at the offices.

This. People are acting like this does nothing, but it's probably the best thing you can do given how uncooperative 2K is.

I wouldnt be that mad if mycareer player was lost, i have 3, but I would be supremely pissed and ready for war if I lost MyTeam.

funny that you mention that. i did go on twitter earlier and posted to their 2ksupport account. within 10 minutes i had my vc back. i just updated the bbb ticket that it can be closed.

My friend just had this happen to him a few days ago and he said the email said to wait because they respond to whoever had the problem first...

Maybe I'll tell him to tweet 2K support and see if he gets his VC quicker lol

I lost a sg right after I completed my first season around Christmas time, and I kept hearing people have the same problems with customer service so I just stopped playing MC(and possibly NBA 2k)

If you cant play a franchise offline in NBA 2k15 i will not be buying it.

The thing is you can definitely play franchise offline.

Simply disconnect from the internet before you even start the game up. I haven't been playing next generation much lately, but that was my initial concern as well. I have a saved franchise going offline.

the only problem with that is that you cant use custom rosters offline.
