This game is fun! Ignore the negative forum threads and you'll love the game. No game is perfect but reading other's issues will automatically make them something you look for in the future.#WashedGamerComment

Re: is this game worth a purchase
This is the only game I've ever bought for my Playstation 4. Honestly I can't put this game down. It has everything from amazing realistic graphics, dynamic commentary, multiple modes that keep you coming back. If your a basketball fan you will truly enjoy this game whether you are playing the game solo are on multiplayer, which I find to be the most satisfying. I would pick it up ASAP!

Definitely worth it.
It's far from perfect, but it's really good compared to other PS4 titles.Khalabeeb - Tony Henderson

Re: is this game worth a purchase
Just for a little perspective. I think the game itself is fun. Gameplay is decent, graphics are upper tier.
However if you're looking for a traditional "Association/Franchise" mode to play. Then I'd skip it. It lacks depth and administrative control. You're at the mercy of the devs RPG style of Association.
If you like to create a player and run through the RPG mode of these games I'd skip it. You never become a free agent. Kind of defeats the purpose.
So if you're looking to pick up a game and go. I think you'll be fine. If you're looking for some in depth season to season action be prepared to run through a very scripted game with to no user control and customization.PS4 - CoastalRyan

Re: is this game worth a purchase
I'd say so. GM mode and MyCareer can be fun to play. It is barebones, but it is still a good sim and with the right sliders still is the most realistic basketball game.
Problem is most people don't take advantage of the sim aspect.
Online is total garbage though, so I'd avoid that.
I'd give it a solid 8/10.Comment

Re: is this game worth a purchase
The actual gameplay is great, but I had to trade it in. There were too many times where I wanted to play MyCareer but couldn't because the 2K servers were down. Also a lot of times I'd buy something with VC (a contract negotiation upgrade or whatnot) and the server wouldn't respond while it tried to connect so I had to turn the system off to continue. Oh, by the way, when I did that the VC I spent was gone and I didn't get the upgrade in return. I'm a huge franchise gamer so all of these things made me trade it in. In terms of just on the court stuff, the game is amazing.Comment

Can someone explain the hate for MyGM to me? Other than not being able to stop a couple annoying trades sometimes everything else seems miles ahead of Association to me. Even free agency seems to work out more realistically to meComment
