It was once called Association Mode
    This.

If there's no Association mode this year, I won't be buying this year. I won't be buying until it returns.

I don't play Association of line but I support this. If online Association is not in the game this year I am NOT buying

It's the vocal minority vs. the silent majority. 2K will see thousands of posts telling them to do the opposite of what they are doing, while their data-mining and metrics show that the silent majority are playing the game in a very different way than you are. An MLB The Show developer posted some statistics showing something like that, but I don't remember what it was about specifically.

It reminds me of the recent push for more female leads in video games. Once again, a vocal minority demanding loudly, and the metrics in a game like Mass Effect 3 show that only 18% of players choose the female lead.

I'm not saying one side is right or wrong, but that seems to be the way things go most of the time. I enjoy the game for what it is.

Might you (or anyone else) be able to point me in the direction of the MLB developer post you referenced? It sounds interesting.

Re: Who is the target audience now?

Honestly, I skipped Next-Gen 2K this year and bought Last-Gen 2K14 on release day. I didn't expect a simulation basketball game coming from a first year 2K title on the PS4/Xbox One. I'm very glad I bought it. I have all the modes(Association, Practice) and features(create-a-player, create-a-team)that I know and love. Until 2K brings back Association, Creation Features(CAP, CAT), 2K11-style crew, less scripted MyCareer, and the sim ball I used to know from them, bigger and better than ever, I don't think I'll be buying 2K15 Next-Gen.

Simulation basketball is still very much the main focus of everything we do. I feel confident even OS will like what we have in store for NBA 2K15.
I see your simulation basketball and raise you an association (mygm) mode (?)

Wishlist threads get stickied all the time though. Doesnt mean they add everything people want. Be more specific. Im actually curious about what they added to 2k14 next gen that people demanded. I can't really think of anything.

                    Casuals.

Unfortunately it's not a product for hardcore simballers anymore (especially for those -like me- who like organized online competition and not just pick-up gameplay)...

                    Cheers! ;-)

Lol, I didn't say everything...if that were the case, half these threads wouldn't exist...I'm just telling you where to to find what you were asking about. You can look at Belubas recent posts and find a lot of good dialogue Sundown and the rest of us had in the controls thread.. Take a look.

2k14 on last gen was basically 2k13.
To me it wasn't worth of the money even more than next gen.

I don't want to bring you down but that happens beacause controls are not relevant to 2k marketing strategy.
The casual gamers won't care about them as long as 2k will give them turbo, dunk and steal buttons
