First of all, there's absolutely no reason for that kind of tone in your post. If you want to have a discussion or get a point across, being reasonable and approachable is a good start.



To address your post, my reading comprehension skills are just fine. And if you had bothered to do more than skim my post, you'd notice that I made clear mention that the things they implemented will enhance the mode but will not (in my opinion) be immersive and highly noticeable. Rather, the additions they haven't gone into detail about are what I believe will have a bigger impression on their audience.

I didn't mean to come off as "unreasonable and unapproachable". I had just seen far too many posts basically saying "this is just the exact same old association mode people, 2k sucks so stop being happy" type posts around the time I replied to yours, so unfortunately you got lumped into the group of people I was annoyed with.

I realize the rest of your post said that the additions will enhance the mode, but I 100% outright disagree with your assessment that the HUGE amount of customization options being added will "not be immersive or noticeable". 2k just put complete control in your hands, allowing you to have the EXACT type of experience (in almost every single facet) that you want. That, to me, is the DEFINITION of immersive.

Sorry for the tone in my precious post. I am just very passionate about customization in video games, and the fact that a substantial amount of people posting here are unable to see just how incredible and revolutionary this mode is going to be (if it plays as advertised) really grinds my gears.

They need to change the way signature skills are acquired in mygm or myleague, currently unless you have a coach that increases the chance of signature skill development, chances are you don't get any. Which makes no sense.

Also, you should be able to hire anyone as an assistant coach, including head coaches that got fired

I doubt it. It wouldve been mentioned if it was. Its also a feature that I think only the hardest of hardcore fans really care about. I liked that the teams were in the game but I dont recall ever playing with them or utilizing them to improve younger players.

This is the biggest single year improvement on a sports game I think I've ever seen.

And this is just one awesome mode. We have so much more to talk about. I'm constantly seeing things this year that are making my jaw drop.

Just one quick question regarding MyLeague: How much more of a role do "non-financial ambitions" play in where a player decides to sign, particularly with aging veterans? Teams like the Heat (and now the Cavaliers) pretty much rely on veteran role players taking substantial pay cuts in order to fill out their teams. Will this be a reality in MyLeague?

Yes I know I can tweak the slider for this, but I'm more focused on the mindset of older players as they are much more likely to chase titles instead of money. I don't want to make EVERY player think this way, and that's what I would be doing by relying on the slider to get these results if they're not in the game by default.

They still have yet to release any details on their "improved Online League functionality" or the Next-Gen "Crew" replacement :o

And then there's MyCareer, additional MyLeague news, ... Oh, and gameplay improvements, if you're into that sorta thing..

As in love as I am with this feature/announcement, I want the FIBA tournament and national teams incorporated into this game for MyCareer, MyGM and MyLeague. This needs to be hammered home. It's been too long since those teams were in a game.

EXACTLY! My idea was to add this customization, have the game automatically progress a player's influences from selfish at the beginning of their career (money, wanting to be "the man", personal stats/touches/etc.) to more balanced in their mid/late 20s and early 30s and then to have a higher tendency to choose titles over money in their mid 30s and on, and/or break down the influences/ambitions sliders into separate age or years of experience sections so you can make large scale changes at once.

For real, why even have MyGM if MyLeague is in? It seems like MyLeague is the vastly improved version of MyGM anyways. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what the differences are, but I believe MyLeague will get the vast majority of my playing time.
