Just finished up January in my Pelicans MyLeague and I had a great month. Going 11-4 overall and ending with 5 straight wins. I am now 30-17 which is 5th in the West, however I'm only 2 games out of 1st place. The West is crazy competitive with only 7 games separating the top 9 teams.

JIt didn't post my halftime stat but i was down 40-19. Everything that could go wrong did...here is the halftime screen shot. Kyrie Irving went off for me the whole second half. I knew with 6 min quarters VS a hawks team that has Harden and Kemba Walker that i was in deep trouble down 21. My plan...pass to Kyrie and shoot a three...every possession and it worked. He finished 14/17 from 3pt and scored 50 pts, 46 in the second half. Oh, btw this was game 3 of 3 eastern conference finals. I ended up blowing out a trailblazer team in 2 games of the finals

The Hornets fall to 6-12 on the season after getting pummeled on their home court by the Thunder 111-86. Charlotte trailed the entire way but managed to erase an early 12-point deficit and actually tied the score at 60 midway through the third quarter.
Then the wheels fell off.
Charlotte went ice-cold from the floor while OKC, and more specifically Kevin Durant, caught fire. Durant did it all; pull-up jumpers, driving to the hoop, 3-pointers off of screens and catch-and-shoot threes. He finished with 40 well-deserved points.
Kendrick Perkins had himself a night, too. He scored 14 points. Admittedly, I paid too much attention early to KD and Westbrook and that left Perkins open down low and he took advantage.
Minnesota and Orlando are up next. Two games that Charlotte is favored to win. Obviously, we still have to execute to win those games but I'm hoping we can get the W's as that'd move us to 8-12 on the year; I'll take .400 winning percentage after 20 games.Currently Playing:

In regards to my previous post about my crazy game. Has anyone else stated just how good the MyLeague playoffs are? It's crazy how they recreate the extra fire everyone gets once the playoffs start. It's the most intense games I've experienced on the game. Things happening that normally wouldn't but also reflect what you see in real life during the playoffs. AmazingComment

attempted to turn the knicks around and got very lucky.
tanked 2015, drafted Lowell Olson..6'9 SG who turned out to be a 90 his rookie year. Singed Love in the off season after the Cavs lost in the second round.
in year 4 now, attempting to 3peat. Olson took the league by storm and has won FMVP his first 2 years in the league, including MVP his second year. Love, Olson Melo all average 20+. Olson ended up averaging 30/9/7/3 on 54% for the season while Love put up 27/10.
About to make the finals for the third straight year and attempting to win it all, by now Olson has to be on the path to some sort of GOAT status at this point. I almost feel guilty though, OKC won the title in 2015 and have made 3 straight finals, only to lose to my Knicks in 16 & 17.
Here we are about to face them again, unfortunately going to have to send KD home for the 3rd straight year.Comment

I'm starting my mygm tonight. Tough decision on who to choose. Obviously the west has the best and toughest conference but the east isn't a slouch either depending on what team I choose. I'm looking at brooklyn Indiana Minnesota Sacramento Utah
Brooklyn might be the leading team simply because of their real life roster situation
Indiana is a close second because they are missing Paul George and they are mediocre without him but they are defense minded which I like.
The three western teams don't lack talent they just don't seem to have direction due to many factors.
Once I get settled in I will decide who to run with and start the journeyComment

ive started a new my gm after playing around with the idea on myleague. im doing one with all of the euroleague teams with me as fc barcelona, the sonics, raptors and bottom 3 nba teams in terms of market size. im using a fantasy draft to balence out the league and im building my team around nikola vucevic as the centerpiece
