Hey guys, currently in Year 1 the 2014-15 NBA Season of my LA Lakers rebuild. We've hit December 1 and the wins are few and far between. Right now we're 4-13 and in last place in the Pacific.

After starting off the season 0-5 we finally picked up a win on a Sunday evening at Staples against the Hornets. Two nights later Kobe dropped in 34 and helped secure our first win streak of the season on the road against a solid Memphis team. Nick Young returned for his first game of the season after missing time with a hand injury on Nov. 18 in Atlanta and helped us get our third win of the season.

Right now I'm playing out the early part of the season getting a feel for the future of this team. As of Dec. 1 it seems that with a loaded Western Conference the playoffs aren't a very realistic possibility but then again stranger things have happened.

As we get nearer to the trade deadline in February we'll be looking to gain draft picks and future talent as the rebuild continues. Below is a snapshot and overview of where the Lakers stand as of Dec. 1, 2014.

I use CWSapp's. The default classes have too many guards that can't shoot at all.

I want to start a new my GM with the updated rosters but I can't figure out how to turn cpu trades off. They completely destroy franchises with fantasy trades. It also sucks you can't start at the current NBA date like last year.

How do I turn cpu trades off in my Gm and my player?

Nerlens Noel showed his true worth and value in our season opener. His energy and hustle spreaded throughout the team as we beat the Indiana pacers in Indiana. I have always liked Javale Mcgee's potential and it was on display in this game. He and Nerlens form a dynamic duo in the front court.

Isaiah Canaan proved to be a good starter in this game as well.

Nerlens had 22 points along with 20 rebounds. We as a team had 39 rebounds. He played out of his mind.
Canaan had 23 points along with 10 assists and Javale gave us 20 points.

I am amped up over the potential this team showed and our defense is monstrous. Stay tuned

Is there a way to adjust the Hard Cap value after you start a MyLeague? I know in some sliders they say to adjust it every so often, but I can't figure out how. It's not in the MyLeague settings.

Just curious..

Do you guys use sliders or just straight superstar-sim?

I use all star 10 minutes and I tweaked a couple sliders to better fit my style of play.

You're unable to do so in my gm, however you can along with other options in my league.

I thought so too, but I can't find it in there. It's weird. I plan on jacking it up after year 2 to the $90 mil range where the cap will actually be that year. Plus, then I can probably get an another max guy haha. Adding KD or Davis to my team would be almost unfair.

Started my first MyLeague this morning.. sitting at 3-0 with the pacers. 27 game schedule, 8 min quarters. any longer and it loses its excitement to me. Don't have time to play all 82.

So far i've beaten the Sixers, Celtics, and Hawks. All by double digits. gonna up the difficulty here in the next game. I usually lead by a couple going into the 4th, then starters come back in and i pull away.

Just finished November in my Pistons MyLeague. Was a rough opening month but I ended with a 6-11 record to end the month.

Yeah I've been simming 2 and playing 1, which isn't as fun as a 27 game schedule as your stats are skewed. Maybe next franchise I will do that.
