ANSWERtypically in any sports games I just roll with the punches. In Madden if I loose a guy I hope his back up is ok. In the NBA games I will try and see if anyone is sitting in FA if not I will see what I can shift in my roster to cover for him. Now if its a key piece and I have no replacement I might work a trade but I never do a blockbuster at that point.

In Madden (or FIFA for that matter) I'd go with it too, rosters are bigger and single players are less important and maybe most importantly the seasons are much shorter. In The Show it's at least the same that the loss of one single guy will never hurt you as much as in a basketball game.
In Nba2k seasons are long as the only option for me is playing almost all games with realistic 12 mins quarters and rosters are small, a single star player can make a contender out of a mediocre team and so can the loss of one reverse it to the opposite...

Than being said I'm not doing much worse without C. Bosh till now, I have have a great backcourt with Wade and Dragic. The latter I traded for. Napier and Cole are doing well coming from the bench, just as Danny Granger does. Also P.J. Tucker has been a nice addition at SF. Aquired him in the Dragic trade, in which I sent Chalmers, Deng, Hamilton and a pick to Pheonix.

I'm still on the fence on how to handle the Injury, for sure I'll keep Bosh injured for a while, but whole 6 months.... I really don't know. Would still be grateful for some more opinions from you guys.

Bring in cheap stretch 4 and have Whiteside be your starting 5 with Birdman as a backup (could get Dalembert as well if Birdman gets tired too quickly). I'd recommend Ilyasova or someone like that. Just search a PF with range and see who's available.

The injury lengths are weird this year. Al Jefferson tore his MCL and only missed 2 weeks while Josh Smith has a concussion that has kept him out for nearly 3 months now.

Started a mygm with Brooklyn with injuries on. We will be without d.will for 4-6 Weeks with broken ribs and mirza teletovic with a collapsed lung for 4-6 months. Looking forward to starting the mygm but not looking forward to starting without our starting point guard. I'm starting mason plumlee over brook lopez because plumlee has more athleticism but brook will get starter minutes because of his low post offense.

There are a lot of questions headed into this season.
Is KG still a productive piece for this team or should he be waived?
Will the new additions bring needed depth to the team?
(Markel brown, Jarrett jack, Bojan bogdanovic)
We are strongly considering signing Rashard lewis? Good or bad move?
Can deron williams and Joe johnson play up to their huge contracts?

Championship or bust didn't work last year so this year we are taking it one game at a time.

Magic fall to the Raptors 108-93

Magic were ahead by 10 at one point,

Key stats:
Vucevic:20-17
Fournier:13 pts
Payton:12

Oladipo did finish with 16, but only had 8 headed into the 4th.
Harris was horrible
And O'Quinn had his best game so far.

Magic 2-1

If anyone needs a backup SG check out Fournier. Imo, his stroke is smooothhh I hit most shots, good scoring off the bench

I almost picked him up in my league haha I always check out players signatures before I sign them or trade for them and I could see that his form is niiiice

Magic lose next 2 and fall to 2-3

Lose to bulls and lose to 76ers

Team played like crap against the bulls and should have beet the 6ers, falling into a hole late and couldn't get out.

Lost the last 3 with the wolves next. I want a win, this team has potential

I've started a new myGM with the Utah Jazz.

Utah's Gordon Hayward made his first All Star game, named to All NBA 2nd Team.

I simmed the entire season, on All Star difficulty. The Jazz made the playoffs as the #6 seed, finish 48-34, 3rd in the division.

Trey Burke returned in March, took starting PG role.

Unheralded pickup Elliot Williams started at SG.

Enes Kanter and Rudy Gobert battled for PF spot. Kanter will start in the playoffs. Kanter is on the last year of his contract and could hit FA.

Derrick Favors started at C.

Alec Burks struggled with injuries all year long.

Playoffs-

3 Warriors v 6 Jazz-Andrew Bogut out 4-6 weeks, broken ankle, Draymond Green hurt 1-2 weeks sprained knee. Alec Burks hurt, severe ankle sprain, 4-6 weeks, Warriors win in 5

The Jazz won a playoff game, but were overmatched by the Warriors. This season marks progress for the rebuilding franchise.

I'm having fun in season 2. I just lost to the Trailblazers on the road. Next, I face the Warriors at home. I might have the "too much depth" problem. At guard, I have Trey Burke, Alec Burks, Ian Clark, Dante Exum, and guard/forward Rodney Hood, as well as a rookie I drafted and John Jenkins, who I traded for during the draft.

At forward/center, I have Trevor Booker, Derrick Favors, Rudy Gobert, Gordon Hayward, Rodney Hood and Enes Kanter.

Hayward and Favors are the definite cornerstones of the franchise. Kanter and Gobert are constantly in a battle for the starting job, as both continue to flash tremendous upside and also expose their weaknesses.

My logjam at guard is difficult to sort out. All of them are inconsistent. At times, Burke and Burks will rain threes, at others they can't make a three. I want to start Exum, but he hasn't developed as much as I would like.

Trevor Booker is a good backup PF/C. He's in a contract year and he is undecided as to whether he will resign or not.

Have you guys ever seen players' ratings go down? The only time they do is when players get injured. Other than that almost every player get +1 rating boosts.

Tried (a few times) to follow your advice... Magic's GM won't talk to me anymore! GMs can be such babies in this game

When 2K introduced the MyGM mode, they told us that when having a conversation with a player some would respond better to "coddling" while others would prefer getting the "tough love" answer.

However, every single time I tried the "tough love" option, the player morale would drop to zero and his card will show that he wants to be eslsewhere next year.

Do you guys ever saw the "tough love" option having positive/neutral effects? With whom?

the only person I've had react better to tough love is rajon rondo, so it seems rare. I suggest checking badges for the one that makes them respect bs to a certain one
