Re: NBA 2K15 Official MyLEAGUE/MyGM Thread
Either you're cheesing the game in gameplay or your simulating games and have a team of like Lebron, KD, Steph, Anthony Davis, and James Harden as your starting five.
Your not just going 78-4 with a normal team simulating that's impossible.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Official MyLEAGUE/MyGM Thread
Started a Nuggets myleague after a lot of time wasting. We defeated the Pistons and the thunder. To my surprise the 4 out 1 in lineup of lawson foye gallinari chandler faried has been successful. But after reading a lot of different articles on lawson and faried wanting out it got me to thinking who could replace them. Not sure on faried but dealing with lawson I'm looking at Jordan Clarkson from the Lakers. Not saying I'm going to do this deal or any deal but it was a nice thought to have.
But I'm definitely gonna try to make room on the roster to add royce white. I think his game and style of play would fit the Nuggets to a tee. I like him as a point forward to some degree playing the same as he played in college.
On to the team Gallinari and Chandler are our primary scorers giving us size and shooting and creating mismatches at the 3 and 4. Lawson has controlled the tempo tremendously in both games and been the underrated point guard that many ppl have come to know. Faried has been all over the floor even tho undersized playing the 5 his taken up the challenge and succeeded in using his speed and motor to help us get our first two wins. My only problem is we are getting killed on the boards - I will make sure the coaching staff handles that.
Randy foye has made his open shots - he is the last option in our starting lineup but he has played the part well.
Coming off the bench is I think my favorite big guy due to his old school style of play in jusuf nurkic. He is beast irl and that translates over to 2k perfectly. I would love to have him in the starting 5 but until our recent lineup doesn't work anymore then he will be on the bench.
The rest of our guys are decent will Barton jameer Nelson jj hickson all are ok we shall see as the season goes on.
This will be my team in 2k16 more than likely but who knows hoping this myleague holds me over until thenComment

Re: NBA 2K15 Official MyLEAGUE/MyGM Thread
You should be getting killed on the boards you're playing a 6'8 guy at Center. Clearly it is working for you but if you play that small you deserve to get killed on the glass not much the coaches will or could ever do to stop teams whose front lines are like 6'10, and a 7' footer going up against a 6'8 center whose team has two SFs playing who aren't that good of rebounders, and 2 very small guards in Lawson and Foye. Quickness and mismatches is how you'll win don't expect rebounding to come around with that lineup it's just to small and it would be unrealistic if that lineup was out rebounding anybody to be honest.Comment

Year 1 of my Charlotte Hornets MyLeague has come to an end. We finished the year 24-34, 4GB of the No. 8 spot in the Eastern Conference.
Oklahoma City beat Cleveland in the NBA Finals and Kevin Durant was the regular-season and Finals MVP.
Hornets have the No. 10 pick in the draft. Looking at either a SF or PF to take with the selection.Currently Playing:

Re: NBA 2K15 Official MyLEAGUE/MyGM Thread
Snuck into the 2018 playoffs as the 7th seed with Utah... finished with a 42-40 record, facing the 2nd seed OKC Thunder. OKC is on their quest for a three-peat. Durant won the MVP and Finals MVP on 2016, and Russ won the MVP and Finals MVP in 2017, as well as the MVP in 2018. They've been unreal.
It's been a tough season in comparison to my last few seasons. I lost Ty Lawson in the offseason, do my scoring off of the bench has been all but nullified. Hayward was an All-Star again at 19.7 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 3.7 APG, and 1.5 SPG. Favors was at 13.5 and 8.8, along with 1.5 blocks. Gobert 9.1, 10.8, and 1.7 blocks. Exum 11.4, 3.5, 6.4, and 2.1 steals. He almost shot 40% from three.
Hood averaged 10.4 in the starting lineup, and Burks had 10.2 off of the bench. I was hoping Burks could score more with Lawson out of the picture. I signed D-Will in his return to Utah as my backup point midway through the year. He averaged 7.5 and 4 with efficient shooting. Denis Hammonds hasn't taken the next step towards being an offensive workhorse yet. He's at just 6.8 and 4.8, but shot 40% from behind the arc as my stretch big. Sasa Demunyck was a nice 4 and 4 off of the bench as a rook.
Aside from Hayward being an All-Star, none of my guys won any awards this season, nor were they featured in any "All-" teams. Regardless, we had the 6th best defense at 91.9 per game, while being the 4th most efficient team from three, shooting at a 37% clip.
Nine rookies in the league averaged over 10 points a game, but the top scoring rookie was New York's Joseph Jones at 14.9 a night. Detroit ' s Noah Ervin had 13.6, Wenli Yi from Toronto had 12.4 and 8.1 assists, Suns' Dakoulas Niniadis had 11.9, 6.5, and 3.6, Miami PF DJ Simmons had 11 and 8, and Atlanta's Lamar Peterson had 10.9 and 4.8 boards.
1st overall pick Pierre Beaubois only started 15 games for Sacramento at PG. They signed Kyle Lowry, who played like garbage, bit kep Beaubois on the bench most of the year. He won 6th Man of the Year at 11.9 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 5.3 APG, and 2.2 SPG in 29 minutes a night.
Russell Westbrook won MVP: 23 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 10.0 APG, and 3.2 SPG.
Wenli Yi (Toronto) won ROTY: 12.4 PPG, 1.9 RPG, 8.1 APG, 2.5 SPG
DPOY was Anthony Davis for the fourth consecutive season.
Junior Baylor (Detroit PF) won Most Improved. His numbers jumped from 6.6 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 1.6 APG to 9.1, 10.2, and 2.7. I don't like that selection. Baylor shot 39% from the floor last season and just 36% this season. He wasn't good defensively, either.
Coach of the Year was Logan Schmidt after leading Philly to an NBA-best 59-23 record.

New York Knicks - 13-69
Portland had a hell of a year, despite not having anybody play outstanding all season. Lillard had 19 and 7, a 32-year-old Aldridge had 18 and 12, Matthews had 14. Defense was their bread and butter.
OKC was an offensive juggernaut. Durant averaged 26.6 a night, while Russ had 23. Ibaka had 15.2, Waiters had 13.2 off of the bench, and Belinelli put in 10.7 in the starting lineup.
Minnesota turned themselves into a juggernaut with the trade for DeMarcus Cousins during last year's draft. Despite losing defensive center Leslie Lucas in the trade, they had the 2nd-best defense in the league in Kevin Garnett's first season as head coach. Wiggins' numbers went down to 16.8, 6.5, and 2.7, and Cousins only averaged 18 and 11, but their depth and defense was incredible.
Houston had a good year. Dwight has taken a big step back at age 32, but he's still good for 14 and 10 along with 2 blocks. Harden had 22, 6, and 7, while Terrence Jones had 15 and 8. 2nd year forward Nathan Jackson had 14 points, 5 boards, and was Houston's top perimeter defender. Ricky Rubio finally shot well, as he averaged 10.7 and 8.4 with 44% shooting from the floor and 37% from three. With a full season with Rubio at the helm, Houston was the best offensive team this season.
Golden State is still rolling. They sat all of their starters the last 8 games or so when they clinched the division and lost all of them. Curry had 23, 5, and 8 on the year, while Klay had 20 a night.
New Orleans had a solid first year under new head coach Jeff Hornacek. Anthony Davis should have been the MVP, IMO. He had 27 PPG, 12 RPG, 2.4 SPG, and 1.7 BPG. Just unreal. Rookie center Derrick Rivers complimented him well. Rivers had 9.9 PPG, 7.7 RPG, and 1.7 BPG. Great frontcourt.
Dallas beat out Sacramento for the 8th seed. Bradley Beal and Chandler Parsons were a great offensive duo, yet again. New point guard and former Knick Anthony Jones made his first All-Star appearance. Tommy Kim averaged 13 off of the bench.
Sacramento struggled to find an identity after trading Cousins. Leslie Lucas had a big jump in his 3rd year. He averaged 12.2 PPG, 8.8 RPG, and 1.5 BPG. Kyle Lowry averaged 14 points off of 37% shooting and 31% shooting from deep. Just not good. Rookie guard and 1st overall pick Pierre Beaubois outshined him all season. Stauskas has become one of the best three point shooters in the league.
Phoenix had a promising first year under Steve Nash. Ivan Kozlov is slowly developing into the best all-around center in the league. Their starting five has as much firepower as anyone in the league. San Antonio struggled with their big men. They traded Pekovic for New York's Enes Kanter midway through the year. They also acquired Alex Len from Phoenix for Seraphin. Kawhi hasn't been the superstar that they've needed.
Memphis might need to blow it up after missing the playoffs for the first time in forever. The Gasol brothers were good all year, but are 33 and 37 years old. Conley is now 30 and, while efficient, doesn't put up big numbers offensively. They need a bonafide scorer.
Clippers regressed due to a lack of depth. Denver had a decent season, as Kevin Hamilton took a step towards stardom. The Lakers lost 12 straight to end the season. Julius Randle is being labeled as a bust.
Out East, Philly was dominant. Terrence Buckner averaged 20, 4, and 5. Julio Carter had 14.6 and 7. Embiid was at 13 and 10. They had the best defense in the league. Good team.
Kyrie, LeBron, and Love are continuing their quest for a ring in Cleveland. Chicago went 52-30 under new head coach Kobe Bryant. Indiana followed up their cinderella Finals run with a 46-36 season.
Brooklyn had a strong year after trading for DeMar DeRozan and getting rid of Deron Williams. Atlanta got back into the playoffs after acquiring Rudy Gay. Milwaukee started Giannis at the point, and second-year center Adrian Cook had a solid year. Jabari is at his natural small forward spot.
Charlotte edged out Washington for the 8th seed. Walker, Sullinger, and Vonleh were their foundation. Washington needs a rim-protector in the worst way after starting Cameron Black and Vladimir Semenko at the 4 and the 5.
Miami is getting old, but DJ Simmons had a promising rookie campaign. Boston lacked an identity all season, Brad Stevens might be let go in the offseason. Detroit is in the middle of another rebuild. Toronto just traded all of their main assets aside from Valanciunas, but Wenli Yi had a nice rookie year. I have no idea what's wrong with Orlando.
New York is about the worst franchise in sports right now. Melo's contract still has a player option for next year, but they still have Faried and Rondo on bad deals for another year. Joseph Jones was a light in the abyss. Stan Van Gundy is all but fired.

Re: NBA 2K15 Official MyLEAGUE/MyGM Thread
Off-season activities are done. We lost Al Jefferson to free agency (Dallas). Once he decided to test the open market I knew we had no chance to re-sign him as our free cap space wasn't much.
Phoenix offered a nice trade to me (swapped 15 picks and I gave up a 2nd round pick in 2017) that gave me the No. 1 pick in the draft. So, I wound up taking Jhalil Okafor with that pick. Later on, a trade with Toronto allowed me to move into the late first round and I grabbed Marcus Paige. Rashad Vaughn was my 2nd round pick.
Wound up signing back Biyombo and picked up Hassan Whiteside to help replace Jefferson. To fill out the roster, Kenyon Martin and Hedo Turkoglu were signed to vet minimum deals.
So, heading into 2015-16, here's what the depth chart looks like:
PG: Kemba Walker; Marcus Paige
SG: Lance Stephenson; P.J. Hairston; Rashad Vaughn
SF: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist; Gerald Henderson; Hedo Turkoglu
PF: Tyler Zeller; Bismack Biyambo; Kenyon Martin
C: Jhalil Okafor; Hassan Whiteside
Losing Jefferson was a tough blow, but we got younger and more athletic so we will see how things go with this group.Currently Playing:
