Any recommendations for custom draft classes to use?

What system are you on?

On PS4 I saw that there's a custom draft class on 2k Share. It looked to be decent enough.... Well, you know, considering the game has only officially been out 2 days.

I think it had 40+ prospects and I'm not sure if he was adding more or not. I'm going to check again today to see if he had any more updates. If not, then I may name and slightly change the last 20-30 prospects. Either way, I'll probably lower his ratings a little and go with it. I'm just so ready to start that patience isn't in my vocabulary right now.

Just go to 2k Share and search. It should be the most DL'ed/updated class.

Using the Chicago Bulls in MyGM and the T-Wolves (big LaVine fan) in MyLeague. The objective with the bulls is to make a few personalized tweaks that gets rose his first championship ring. Traded Taj Gibson, Aaron Brooks nd Cha 15' 1st rd. pick to Minnesota for Zach Lavine (grooming him to replace rose eventually). Then i traded Pau Gasol, JimmyButler nd Chi 15' 1st pick, Chi 16' 1st pick to Charlotte for Lance Stephenson (who chicago shouldve gotten instead of Gasol in Free Agency in my opinion). First game vs. Knicks in process now...

With the Timberwolves i plan to turn the team from a yearly bottom feeder to a perrenial championship contender. Havent started the process yet but when i do ill keep you updated.

What I'm going to do in regards to trades in turn them off for November. Then in December I'm going to allow 1 or 2 and I may increase that slightly for January. Once the number of trades that I allotted for that month happens then I will turn them off the rest of the month. For February I will keep trades open all month and will approve trades as long as they make sense to me.

For my own trades I've always have a House Rule, that I can't make a trade unless it's something the CPU offers to me. Even then I'll use OS as a sounding board to get differing opinions. I'm not one who makes that many trades anyway and if I do I certainly don't want to fleece the CPU. I ask myself is this a trade that I would make if I was the other team and if it isn't, then I don't make it.

Yeah, I like to trade too much to do that. I give up a lot to get the guys that I want though so I'm not fleecing the CPU. It is still just a little easier than expected. Still harder than last year though. Especially for the draft picks.

If the roster update with the correct draft picks went through then I plan on starting MyLeague tonight. My only problem is what team to pick?

I'm a Celtics fan and I played into the third season with them last year... They're more than likely the front runners, but playing with a new team may be fun, as well. The main thing with them is what to do with Rondo? Personally, Rondo is one of my favorite Celtics ever and it would be tough trading him away. I'm just not sure if we could compete without another legit All Star type player, so trading him maybe the best thing. It's a tough decision for me really.

Other than the C's I'm also considering:

Pelicans - Since I've moved to Louisiana six years ago I've became quite fond of the Pels. I try to make it to 4-5 games a year... however, one of those games is always against the Celtics and that's the only game that I don't wear my Pels gear to. Game-wise they have a good roster and should be able to compete, but the West is just soooo tough. They have a really nice Starting 5, but their depth is kind of weak. I really like them, but I think my heart is with using a team from the East this year.

Pacers - I've been an admirer of the Pacers since the Reggie Miller days, but they gained even more momentum from me from the rivalry against the Heat the last few years. I really like PG-13, West and Hibbert. It will be tough going with PG for the first year and even tougher in Year 2 because they will be in Cap Hell if you resign Hibbert. I like the struggle though, so they're firmly on my radar.

Hornets - Good, fun team to play with who should be able to compete right away. Jefferson, Kemba, Stephenson are all nice pieces and their court and jersey's are one of the best.
My only problem with them is that maybe they're a little too good, because normally I like to start with a fringe playoff team and work my way up.

But my Hornets are better than I thought in this game. I just need a way to get LaVine and I'm set with my squad.

Is the only way to play other games to control all teams? I started one with the Bulls but would like to play some of the other games if possible.

I don't think so... I tried playing another teams game during the regular season and couldn't figure out how. Once the Playoffs start you can play any game though.

You should be able to select other games through Daily View on any day. Let me know if that doesn't work.

I don't think so... I tried playing another teams game during the regular season and couldn't figure out how. Once the Playoffs start you can play any game though.

Either I got really lucky or the draft is just way too easy on the default settings. Two drafts in a row I got projected Top 5 picks late in the first round. I'm now the Magic in Year 4 or so and I'm just stacked with high potential young players rated in the low 80s. I literally have too many good young players to play them all.

I was controlling the Knicks and simmed season to not make playoffs so I played one bulls playoffs game and simmed the rest of playoffs.

How do I get control back of the Knicks? In off-season it kept me as the bulls and had no way to get back to Knicks as my main team

To change the currently controlled team, press B twice from the calendar and you should end up in the MyLEAGUE landing menu (the one that has the team's logo in big form on the top-right, right under your avatar, and has the conference and division ranks on the top-left). On that menu, you can LT/RT between the different user-controlled teams to set any of them as active.
