Played the 2nd regualr season game against the Thunder with my Pistons myLeague... Wow.

I lost 143-117 , and that doesn't begin to describe the level of crap I took all game. The Pistons shot 52% from the field and 41% from deep, meanwhile, OKC shot at a 60% clip from the floor and 48% from deep... It was completely asinine. The first ended 64-57 with OKC in front which was fine as the game was much more realisitc as we were both shooting 54-52% from the floor. Second half I am outscored 79-60 and the Thunder hit 65% of their shots. They also only committed two TOs to my 12.

Individually, Kevin Durant played 38 minutes and scored 61 points... on 26-36 shooting (6-8 3pt)... Westbrook also put in 33 on 13-25 shooting (5-10 3pt are you kidding me). Oh, and Steve Adams got 8 points, 10 boards and 8 assists, lol.

It's frustrating when the comp manhandles you like this. At least I have only experienced it while playing OKC, so I can live with it if big teams roll me. That's pretty realistic IMO (not sarcasm btw).

Thinking about unloading Brandon Jennings soon. I think I want to trade with the Heat as they are 3rd in the conference and could use a 3rd scorer like Jennings to partner with Bosh/Wade.

I am thinking;
Pistons receive - M. Chalmers, S. Napier, D. Granger
Heat receive - B. Jennings, P. Christopher, C. Martin

Is that fair? Should I throw picks at Miami? Should they give me a pick? IDK.

When trying to to do the Ronny Turiaf/Corey Brewer for Troy Daniels/picks trade it says you can not trade injured players. Ronny Turiaf is out for the season in real life and just got traded.

unless it will make the game buggy I think that restriction should be removed.

Taj Gibson, MDJ, Tony Snell, Sac pick

Cavs Trade:
Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson, Mike Miller

Minnesota Trade:
Pekovic, Chase Budinger

Bulls Receive:
Tristan Thompson, Dion Waiters,

Why for Chicago?
Although Taj is a big part of their defensive system Tristan is a lot younger and can match the energy he brings to the team. Bulls get Waiters, a player who can create his own shot.

Why for Cavs?
Dion Waiters become free after being held captive in a system that doesn't fit his style of play. Pekovic gives them some more toughness and can play side by side with Love. Although CLE extended AV, they can possibly move him for some much needed pieces (ie: younger legs).

Why for Minnesota?
Taj > Pekovic. Also gets a pick that can help build towards their future. Taj gets to start and become the double-double machine we all know he could be (for at least the next 3 years).

I think Minnesota thinks long and hard about this trade, only unrealistic idea about this trade is CLE and CHI wouldn't want to upgrade each other.

Started one MyLeague with the Pistons. I love Monroe so I'll try to keep him and Drummond but I just discovered 2 things:

1- this game cheats
2- I'm also really bad at it hahahaha

I'm playing every division game and losing by 20 on a regular basis. I'm still waiting for the trading season to start (yes I do this). A lot of guys are on the block except Drummond, Dinwiddie (love him!) and MAYBE Monroe. I'll probably try to ship Josh Smith to Phoenix for Eric Bledsoe and then I don't have a clue of what to do with Brandon Jennings. Probably a 3 pointer SF would be a good fit.

Currently sitting at 2-12. This will be hard.

Nets in MyGM. Traded Marquis Teague for Ekpe Udoh. Currently 9-8 record. Bojan out 2-4 months with a broken ankle so my 5 is DWill, Joe, AK47, Plumlee, Lopez. KG is getting upset with his role, telling him 'tough love' keeping him until the trade deadline and unleashing him via trade to the Thunder for a draft pick.

Going to pull the trigger on the Lance Stephenson trade, it's going to look something like this:

Joe, Anderson, Markel Brown for Lance, Biyombo, Marvin Williams, 1st round pick. And a second trade, Mirza for Gary Neal. Doing that I'll free up cap space, meet the owner's demands on acquiring a 1st round pick and trading AK or Mirza, in this case Mirza.

Can't wait to rebuild my team, lead by Lionel Hollins.

How I am playing the season:

I am using my real life work schedule to determine whether a game is simulated or user player. If the calendar falls on a day off for me, which is alternating weekends (Sat & Sun) or every other Wednesday and Friday, I play. Any other day (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, etc) I simulate.

Quick question for MyGMers.

I'm new to the NBA series, so can someone explain the impact of your Trainer and Scout on your own players' potential? I did a fantasy draft and drafted Jabari Parker (A potential) but now just 2 months into season 1 when I view him, it says he has C potential. Did his potential drop?

Just started MyGM using the Milwaukee Bucks two days ago (was waiting for the international patch to drop).

Of course, Jabari Parker got injured just before the patch dropped SMH. I'm not a big fan of simming so he'll have to wait.

It's the very begining : record is 2-1.

But I have a question, I have Antetokounmpo playing SF, I would like him to improve in certain aspects (mid-range jumper, dribbling...) so he can be like the new KD or at least getting as close as possible to the type of player Durant is. Not particularly a fan of KD, but I think Giannis could have a much bigger impact if he had at least a reliable mid-range jumper. Anybody knows if this is achievable? And how? (I've set his practice time to intensive fundamentals)

Also, my interior rotation is really weak, especially with current injuries (Parker and Henson out, Ilyasova Day-to-Day). Any ideas? Thanks.

Now the patch has dropped (loving it) I've started a Suns MyGM. Started the season with a victory over the Lakers using Armor & Swords sliders and TimSmooth's roster.

Obviously the Suns severely lack in interior D so will be looking to get a bruiser in a Centre (Plumlee & Len are VERY generously rated) and then I have to sort out the dilemma of who to let go out of Thomas or Bledsoe and hopefully get Dragic signed long term.

They are overpowered, but if you play MyLeague you can set the slider for how good the draft class quality is. 25 normally keeps it right around a typical NBA draft.

If you're on the X1, I would strongly recommend Sapp/Dreece/Blindside's fictional draft classes. Those guys put in a lot of work and their product is nothing but quality. Has been for years.
