Jersey selection in My Player Mode

I have no issue with your position on this. You're right. There's little harm in allowing it. I, personally, would not want it so as not to break the illusion. I agree that the game SHOULD have us wear alternates on occasion. Kinda silly that we don't ATM

But, a lot of people would love to change their jerseys in MP Mode. If it was in, all you would have to do is just keep wearing the regular jerseys lol and not change it. Me personally, I would rather choose my jerseys and wear them when I would like instead of the CPU doing it even though it'd be cool.

I've never played NG 2K14, but on 360, in association they would automatically change your jersey during Noche Latina week. Would be cool if they had both options, but I would prefer choosing which jerseys I would like to wear on my own because sometimes there is a lot depending on the team.

If that is true, then why cant it happen now? Now, I do realize that the next gen 2k uses a different engine and architecture, but last I checked, it uses x86. The same architecture that the PC version of the game been using for years. The truth will come out eventually . If for some reason, the pc version of 2k15 gets a mod that allows different jersey's in MP then, well you know what that means 2k.

I hope so! It would add a lot of customization and control to this year's game.
Well they said they could only talk about my career after my team so their might be something exciting in store.

I can see why it might be hard to give us the option to choose the jersey ourselves,

still don't see why it would be hard to have the computer randomize it sometimes to see different jerseys now and then.

If you don't really believe what were telling you in a general sense you probably wouldn't believe us in a detailed sense because you already IMO believe there is no way this should not be done. LOL it is a lose lose situation and it is the reason not all dev teams interact at a detailed level with the fans of their game.

Because unless you sit in their shoes and see all they see and the work etc etc some of this stuff IS hard to believe. Trust me I know. Now being on the other side it's like dam I get it.

Unless your in the situation with that code your gonna think however your going to think there is nothing we can say because in your mind it's simple.

I understand you want this in the game. Hopefully one day it will be.

I appreciate the response, but I respectfully disagree.

It's the difference between parents saying,

"BECAUSE I SAY SO!"

vs

"Because having that extra cookie is bad for your health."

Objectively, they both are true.
And even if a five-year old (in this case, us without the behind-the-scenes know-how) doesn't completely understand the reasoning, at least an attempt as been made to explain.

Anything else is possibly lazy IMO, no offense to anyone.

You're also selling the forum members short - you act like just because someone is critical here, they have already made up their minds? That's highly assuming of you - you'd never know unless you try. Personally, I have seen points in some of the criticism about not sharing any reasoning on why it's difficult, I'd love for my mind to be changed. Don't put the onus on forum members who question how difficult a seemingly easy feature is when no one takes the time to explain in detail any differently.

I appreciate LD for taking the time to do a little explanation, so if there's nothing further at least we got that much.
