How do you tweet at a player? I haven't seen any option to do that and I'm in year 2....1 game left before the all star break. I've also seen mentioned that you can tweet a "request for a big 3". can someone help with this info?

KD and Russ are terrible when I am on the floor but when I get subbed out they go off. Its irritating. I still manage to get assists either way.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I've been pretty busy with school so I havent really had a lot of time to play. I just finished my third game of my second season, and i got the offer for a shoe deal right after. Asked my friend, who's in her fourth season already(treats 2k like its a religion) how long did it take to get the actual deal and she said she only played 10 after before she was able to sign(puts her around early december if you need a time reference). The tip she gave me is to not sim at all if possible. A lot of these events are scripted based on how much you actually play and the milestones you gain. She noted that the game she got the deal was her first time dropping a triple double.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I remember in 2K12 when you picked up your 3rd foul in the 2nd quarter the coach put you on the bench, when you picked up the 5th foul in the 3rd quarter the coach put you on the bench until the last minutes, and so on...
Since 2K13 they broke this and never fixed anymore.
Just picked up the 4th and 5th foul in the middle of the 3rd, the coach of course let me play and with 9 minutes left in the 4th I picked up the 6th because of the CPU charge cheese on fastbreaks.
Man this is absurd.
And another absurd thing is the fact that when you win or lose by +20 the coach doesn't rest you for the 4th quarter.
I mean, they can fix this **** in 30 seconds modifying the inputs, this is what drives me crazy.Last edited by Francis94; 10-17-2014, 12:47 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
This is not a rant.... just my experience with the game.
I'm really enjoying this mode. I see a ton more negative criticism of game than I see positive....and it's shocking to me. I've played the series since it was released and this is easily the best it's been. Even in the my player mode... you have to treat it like real basketball. I look at players tendencies and play offense strategically to use their strengths. An example of what I'm talking about is..... I play for the Pelicans at PG. Anthony Davis has high ratings on screens and alley oop (99)....so I play alot of pick and roll. Two man basketball. He has great ratings in the post.....so I keep balance by trying to keep the computer off balance. If you do the same thing over and over.....the AI and computer defense adjusts. Tyreke Evan is a slasher SF....he's not a great shooter. His ratings are higher on layups, standing layups, driving, etc. So I call plays or set screens that free him up to cut to basket. If you're not calling plays your missing a ton of opportunity and fun. You can get 3 to 4 of your teammates involved in the game, every game, and it keeps the AI and computer off balance. If you can't call plays.... Set it up so that your coach is calling them. Some of the plays are money....and it's easy to learn how the team your on wants to play to win. We've lost 12 games and I'm 1 game from the all star break..... this is in year 2. Another thing that is huge is teammate chemistry..... when chemistry was in the 60's....it was a big time struggle. Chemistry is now at a 100.... and it's an amazing difference. I've seen people posting youtube videos complaining and when you watch them.....they are just running around trying to freelance or trying to use players that don't rate out to do the things they want to do. I know it's not the case with everyone.....and there are things that can improve the game....but in some of the cases.... I think people need to take a step back and look at exactly what the team around you is geared to do.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
My stats aren't insane..... 25pts.... right at 10 assists per game.... but I enjoy every game. Another thing worth looking at are your teammate badges. Players that have badges like brick wall, PNR roll man, microwave, etc....can alter how you use them. I'll feed a player that can stay hot until he misses, or be more patient with a player that is a volume shooter. Really just 2 of many examples you could make about playing to a teammate tendency. I could have left after my first season to go play with Harden and Dwight Howard at Houston....but was enjoying playing with Davis so much that I signed for 2 years with Pelicans. Davis jumped to a 91 in 2nd season. There are some really cool videos about running the pick n roll on youtube posted by sam pham.... takes that scheme of offense to another level. They don't all apply to my player options....but many do.Comment

NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Nate Ryan, a 6'7" 190lb. PG. Played my 1st year on the Kings, and went to the Knicks in the offseason(which was very interesting). Had a horrible season with SAC, finishing the season on a 24 game losing streak, and only winning the game before the last game. I thought things would be different here in NY, but we are currently 1-13. We only won our 4th game of the season vs. the BKN, and Melo got injured shortly after. But I'm sticking it out. I play on HOF Sim by the way.
