Shooting on HOF/sim is pure comedy, the game just doesn't give a ****, you gonna miss everything no matter what.
I ain't even the first scoring option, I'm the third, I TAKE ONLY WIDE OPEN SHOTS, but I can't hit anything, only some mid range when I'm lucky.
Shooting ratings are 89.

I've given up on face scan, it's still garbage. I've been scanning everyday since the game came out and still can't get a scan that either looks like me or garbage in the actual game play. 2K it doesn't have to be so hard, upload a photo would yield much better results.

Yea the elite teams are nigh-unbetable, it sucks but that's the hand we've been dealt.

Weird. My team beat the Warriors and the Spurs in the Playoffs so far in my rookie season, the Spurs are atleast elite. I do play for the Blazers though, they are pretty good themselves.

Have you guys noticed any cheese when you finally get a good block or steal that there is almost a 50:50 chance that the basket won't go in or they steal it back or block it too etc.? It almost feels that way...

I made a SF from the Navy. After graduating from high school he immediately left home and joined the Navy to follow his in his father's footsteps. He would spent the next three years a sailor, playing basketball in different countries with his shipmates. After serving in the Navy, my SF would decide to put his skills as a basketball player to the test, and declare for the 2014 NBA Draft. Unfortunately, his resume as a basketball player was limited to only his high school days, and this resulted in every team passing on him at the Draft. Three months into the regular season, the Washington Wizards called him up for a workout, and that is where my SF's journey into the NBA began.

Trying to give the story a little more a flavor since I've already played through my rookie season four times now.

Anyway, been playing with the Wizards for a while and they are by far the best time I've played with so far. But both Andre Miller and Bradley Beal went down with injuries and they'll be out for the rest of the season, so John Wall has been doing everything for this team as our only remaining PG. He is literally playing all 48 minutes of each game, in fact he logged 53 minutes in a overtime loss to the Pistons.

I really hope he doesn't get injured because we're fighting for the eighth seed right now and I have a playoffs or bust mentality right now because I still haven't experienced it.

It's T-Mac vs Kobe. Kobe is tough, he uses screens better than anyone I've played.

I'm new to this aspect of the game and I love it. I'm a 6'3" 190 pound shoot first PG. Modeling my game after Rose. My player currently has a 77 rating but feels a lot higher. I picked the Magic as they seemed to be the best team to get me in the starting lineup ASAP. Only thing that sucks is my assist totals because my teammates suck and miss their shots when I dish them the ball. Currently have the worst record in the league. I see the Knicks are interested in me as I approach the end of the season.

A few complaints are how do I get other shoes besides the generic brand? Also no matter how many times I equip the tattoos I've bought they don't stay on. I've heard others say this is a problem as well.

Overall this is a very highly addictive game mode that I really enjoy. Just wish the face scan worked but I'm not gonna worry about it.

Also no matter how many times I equip the tattoos I've bought they don't stay on. I've heard other day this is a problem as well.

Try equipping them in the options menu, not in the my career menu.

This is the most annoying thing for me. Every single time I block/intercept a pass, the opposing team is the first one to run to the ball, usually the player that I block/intercept.

The game seriously is going to FORCE me to do the volume shooter garbage.. it's like EVERY user career is forced into it.. after 3 quarters against the Wizards, we're losing 84-81.. 12 of 20 shooting for 28 points.. with 15 boards 5 assists so far.. the rest of the team is pathetic.. again.. Wiggins has 10.. nobody else has more than 8.. I have 8 offensive boards.. should probably have 34 pts but Gortat blocked 3 of my put-backs.. from behind even.. L

I lead the team with the 5 assists.. LaVine is just terrible as a PG so far.. shoots more than Rubio did in my 'Rookie' season.. and Rubio shot far more than he ever does in real life.

I have 4 turnovers thanks in part to JJ Barea.. .. where it used to be the BIGS that wouldn't shoot with the shot clock expiring.. it's Barea in this game who forces the ball to me with no chance to get a late shot off.. yet when the shot clock is around 15.. he'll run into the lane and force a 10 footer and miss.. Is it wrong that 2K can make me hate a player in REAL LIFE for what 2K has them doing in the game?

4th quarter directive from Doc Rivers "Lose the game" he wants us to feed the post.. that means Young and Pekovic.. neither can make a shot.. Pek has put 2 off the side of the backboard in the quarter as we fall farther behind the Wizards..

Lost by 2 to the Wizards.. of course.. Beal made an easy layup when nobody was in the paint.. my SG isn't fast enough to completely guard him still so I get beat off the dribble .. especially when a PG or SG stands around with the ball for 20 seconds before taking a first step.. we can't win a tight game at home, we'll never win a game on the road. Wizards had SEVEN players in double figures..

Team record to start my 2nd season is 2-6.. we were 2-2 and now a 4 game losing streak.. Team is so bad I lead in every category but steals.. 27.1 ppg, 15.9 boards (4.7 and 11.2) 6.9 assists and 1.3 blocks.. 6'5 SG leading in boards and blocks..

The game seriously wants me to do the volume shooter thing.. social media ripping on me for my 31 points and 7 assists.. saying I should have shot more, we might have won.. yeah right.. Another one says Wall did his thing and they couldn't see me.. all was 8 of 16 for 16 points.. 8 assists to my 7.. I'm the SG, being forced to get assists since I don't have a PG (Lavine can't be considered a PG if he isn't passing right?? )

I'm in my 3rd season....playing with Pelicans.... and I have not seen the option come up to do this. I've played every game....0 sims.

However.... at the beginning of my 3rd season.... Dwight Howard now plays for the T-Wolves. I sent him a tweet about forming a big 3. He tweeted back to me that it sounded great that we would be unstoppable together..... The T wolves are 2nd on my teams interest list at 96% so I've requested a trade. Went to a "no turning back" cut scene with GM so think it's only a matter of time until I'm sent to the T wolves. I just hope they don't trade Wiggins in whatever deal is made..... Loving the though of my PG, Wiggins, and Howard.

Weird .. he did put up 18 for me last night.. 16 in the second half vs OKC.. (loss of course) not one dunk.. just jump shooting.. didn't pass.. had a number of turnovers and we lost when I didn't get to touch the ball much 2nd half

Just finished a close 1 in Golden State. Game tied up with about 10 seconds remaining. I'm @ the top of the key & I penetrate then get double-teamed. I hit LaVine on the left wing. He shoots the 3 & nails it. Timberwolves when by 3 in Golden State. Team chemistry is @ 98. Superstar difficulty.
