Anyone here force to play for the whole game without any substitution? Start to happen in my 2nd season. In my rookie season, the rotation work as intended.
Also, its weird that I got more minutes than Howard and Harden when I check at the my minutes page. My overall is 73.

It's what I've been complaining about for about 3 days now.

Teammate grade, winning, and correct answers in cut scenes, post game interviews, in-game interviews. Don't talk back to your mentor or throw your teammates under the bus lol

I also tweet at my teammates regularly, IDK if that does much for chemistry or not, buy my 5-8 Sixers have a 89% team chemistry.

He's exactly right. Plus team chemistry is very important to gameplay. The higher you get it, you'll start noticing an improvement in teammate performance.

Sorry for that but anyways I just did an interesting little test. Call it over dedication but I went and created a player as close to mine as I could and put him on the Pacers for a quick game. Switched it over to Point Gaurd only, superstar sim, 10 min quarters against a team that just blew us out by 16, the Hornets.

This point gaurd finished with 22 points/7reb/ and wait for it.... A whopping 17 assist....

By the middle of the 3rd quarter.

For the rest of the game I simply gave my teammates the ball and went to hide off in the corner shooting the occasional three that came my way from a play. We beat the Hornets 99-82, with Paul George dropping 35 points. I only counted four instances when I passed it to an open teammate and they missed, which is how it should be.

Makes me wonder what exactly is wrong with mycareer that your teammates don't even play right compared to their counter parts in OTHER GAME MODES.

Well the lowly Philadelphia 76ers have won 4 out of 5. Comin for that 8th seed baby. Team Chemistry is up to 91% and we've got some soft matchups coming up.

I did something similar to this and got the same results...my guess was that 2k just wants you to be the star and not be able to rely on your teammates to hit open shots. That seems to be the only logical explanation to me.

Can someone from 2K read this or put out a statement as to why the game mode has to be so scripted and your teammates have to be so dumb? Not everyone wants to play like the way 2K seems to want everyone to play MyCareer. I shouldn't be watching LeBron and KLove and Kyrie go for horrible percentages every single game. This needs to be patched.

Seconded. Would love to at least have somebody address it. This isn't the first year its been like this, but it definitely feels like this year is the WORST it's been.


I remember 2K13 I played PG for the Hornets (the team that would become the Pelicans) and I used to be able to feed it down to Anthony Davis and let him go to work in the post, he'd actually use post moves and then put up quality shots. He'd take open midrange shots rather than standing there like an assh**e. I could run the pick and roll with him and I could actually throw a pocket pass without fearing it would get deflected and/or stolen EVERY SINGLE TIME, and then when the pass did make it through, I felt good about his odds of finishing at the rim. There were many games where he put up between 25-40 points. I haven't had a single game where a teammate put up more than 25 this year other than when Tony Wroten took 29 shots. I could also feed it to Gordon and let him iso, and he'd actually use effective dribble moves and get to the rim, taking intelligent shots off the bounce. He'd knock down spot up 3's when I found him open. I'd hit Ryan Anderson in the corner and he'd launch it without reserve, or I could pick and pop with him and he'd shoot off the catch rather than just stand there with his thumb up his ***.

This year none of that happens. Teammates are tentative, unwilling to shoot, don't play with any sort of aggression, don't use their tendencies, don't play like themselves at all. No CPU player uses dribble moves or post moves to score, they just dribble into the defenders and go straight up into the defender's chest and try to shoot through them. It's ridiculous and really holds back what could be an amazing experience.
