Finally finished losing my stupid rigged game against New Orleans. Ended up forcing overtime before they shot 67% and I shot 10%. God that was frustrating.

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I'm now almost convinced that the "rubber band, terrible teammates" thing a result of being able to buy VC with real money is. The same BS happens in My Team. I've been never so frustrated with a game before... and yet I keep playing it. I must be stupid....
Anyway, offensive AI rebounding needs to get adjusted asap. It's just ridiculous now. As a small guard I basically have to get every board or the other team gets it which is just ridiculous!Comment

can you not pick a shot base for your guy? Am I really stuck just copying an NBA players jumpshot instead of making my own?Comment

Whatever you do don't buy into this ****! I'm now done with NBA2K15 and probably 2K in general. It's not healthy for me, just frustrating, not fun. **** this ****!Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Has anybody played with Anthony Davis? And I don't mean just during the rookie year where everybody's teammates seem to suck, but I mean into the 2nd and/or 3rd year, where your teammate chemistry gets up into the 90's and guys start playing more realistically? If so, how was he? Did he look to score and play near the level he does in real life? Lots of boards and defense?
The reason I ask is because I want to try to team up with him down the road, the next time either of our contracts are up. I'd prefer to bring him to Philly (me, Davis and Embiid would be sick) but I'd be open to going to New Orleans I guess. I'm just not huge on their unis.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Yeah this is easily the most frustrating game i've ever played in my life. I miss too many wide open shots to the point it seems rigged. Like when the computer is on a run there's always a strange lid on the rim. Also, like yall was saying. my player play terrible in those stretches. And it seems at random.
I was playing the Cavs in my 2nd season... Great game the first 3 quarters. We was tight. 4th quarter came we shot like 18% from the field. Same shots we shot all game all of a sudden were bricks. smhComment

The one where he says that ive been balling lately and he is fan now
I have the gold badge perimeter defender you have to play really really great defense, meaning intercepting passing, stealing the ball, playing lock down D, blocking shots at the rim & from jump shots, forced turnovers & etc. it's very useful as a point guard cause it's really hard for defenders to pass you or dribbing in front of you without getting the ball stolen.
On the other note 6'0 Hornets rookie just posterized Terrence Jones but blew dunk on me lmfao. Also man playing Hornets is annoying. I mean this MKG keeps taking charges and he gets all those calls. Ive got 4 turnovers already.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I'm telling you guys. Just TRY playing a game on Pro/Sim, 12 minute quarters, auto play calling and don't call for pass unless it us a cut to the hoop or to break out of a broken play.
Julius Randle just put up 24 and 25 in a 2ot game.
If you try and play sim with your player, like true sim system passing up shots to run the play, its great. Teammates play to expectations and, like mentioned above, rookies and others are able to have great performances.
I play MyLeague on the standard of SS/Sim, and love it. So much fun. But, this is the o my way to cone close to that fun in MyCareer for me.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Sorry if this has been said before, but has anyone heard if 2K will add an option to change sim minutes quarters in the next patch? Would love to hear if anyone has found this out. Really the only reason i stopped playing this mode.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I created a 6'7" 200 lbs small forward and joined the raptors for my rookie year... Not sure how many people went with the raptors, but the day I was picked I looked at the power rankings and Toronto is 3 in the league and 1st for division and conference. The first game I played I got subbed in with 3 left in the 1st quarter and we were up by 30... Had anyone else experienced this in there rookie year?Comment

Yeah man, in general i play decent defence, but you know i got that tendency from earlier 2k's to reach in. But now defence actually punishes u when u randomly reach in

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Made a new 6'3 185lb PG and playing my rookie season for the Kings. My OVR started at 64 with 0 VC to my name. Started from complete scratch.
Mannn it's tough. No buying VC for me. All natural baby. Going to grind this out and make a true star from the bottom.
It's hard trying to guard Curry with a 64 OVR PG.But I managed. Ended up getting a FAIR grade but hey...he's rough.
Also, only getting between 368 - 500 VC per game. Not more than that. 500 is with a GOOD performance.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
64 OVR PG
17 points
2 assists
1 steal
(A) performance grade
Final performance: FAIR
Why a FAIR performance? My stats and teammate grade are both VERY respectable for a 64 OVR PG going up against an 89 OVR PG. He shut me down ALOT so instead of forcing the ball, I passed alot and got points for other players.
This grading system is seriously flawed.
Do I have to score 20+ points to get atleast a GOOD grade? It's extremely hard to do against the best PG's in the game.Last edited by extremeskins04; 10-28-2014, 10:42 PM.Comment
