Yeah I did too thats why Ive had them equipped but im really just dunking in traffic, not really postering anyone lol. I guess I'll keep going with it though, It'll happen sooner or later.

Just wondering if anyone has ever successfully got around a box-out?

On my SF (which I don't play anymore), coach instructions were to crash the boards and use left/right movement stick to get around a box out... I've tried mashing every direction available since 2k14 and NEVER got around a box out before.

I've even boxed out before and had the CPU "morph" through my player to get position and subsequently the rebound... but I've never been able to get through a CPU box out.

I'm assuming that getting around box outs is one of the benefits to increased rebounding, which few people have bothered to upgrade.

Doubt it... I maxed out in rebounding 2k14 and still never got around a single box out (and I played 2k14 a lot more than I'm playing 2k15 now). Also, I upgraded rebounding a fair bit on my SF in 2k15 (where I got the coach directive) and it made no difference.

Can anyone do putback dunks!?!?

For me, blocking shots into the crowd, putback dunks and 2-hand alleyoop smashes are my favourite plays in basketball.

I haven't executed a single user putback in 2k15 any tips would be wonderful or if it's an issue, that's fine, but I"m just not sure if it's all me or not.

I know cpu box-outs are over-powered and unrealistic though, but getting a putback Jam in my pf's career every 2 games or so would drastically increase my enjoyment of the mode.

I"m putting all my points in the athlete right now because I just find the PF to be WAY too slow near the beginning of the career.

I was also surprised how low driving dunk was and standing was high - my dude is ony 6'8" and I was trying to make a cross between shawn kemp and barkley with an emphasis on blocking shots whenever possible

EVERY 2K PLAYER SHOULD READ THIS POST. IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT ABOUT WHETHER THE COMPUTER ACTUALLY CHEATS THEN I THINK THIS POST WILL ASSIST YOU WITH THAT. DON'T GET ME WRONG, I LOVE 2K & HAVE BEEN PLAYING IT VIRTUALLY EVERY YEAR SINCE IT 1ST BEGAN. I'M JUST A B-BALL FAN IN GENERAL. BUT HONESTLY, THIS GAME CHEATS TERRIBLY & JUST KNOWING THAT(ESPECIALLY WHAT I'M ABOUT TO TELL YOU) TAKES A LOT OF THE FUN & MY DESIRE TO EVEN PLAY, COMPLETELY AWAY.

I WAS PLAYING A GAME IN MYCAREER AGAINST PHOENIX & I COULD TELL FROM THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE GAME THAT THE COMPUTER HAD ALREADY PRE-DETERMINED THAT PHOENIX WOULD BE WINNING THIS GAME--BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. THE WHOLE GAME IT FELT LIKE I WAS RUNNING UP A STEEP MOUNTAIN. EVERYTHING WAS JUST WORKING AGAINST ME, THAT OF WHICH I DO KNOW SOMETIMES DOES HAPPEN IN A GAME. BUT THIS GAME FELT DIFFERENT. IT WAS LIKE SOME INVISIBLE FORCE WAS WORKING AGAINST ME & COME TO FIND OUT, IT WAS.

SO WE WERE DOWN BY ABOUT 15-20 POINTS & I GET DOUBLE-TEAMED, TIED UP, & THEY CALL A 'JUMP-BALL'. IT'S ME & DRAGIC(THE GUY FROM PHOENIX; NOT SURE IF I SPELLED HIS NAME RIGHT). MYPLAYER IS 6'5" & I'M NOT SURE HOW TALL DRAGIC IS BUT I NOTICED THAT I WAS MUCH TALLER WHICH REALLY DOESN'T MATTER BUT STILL. WE GO UP FOR THE JUMP-BALL & IT'S OBVIOUS AFTER WE JUMPED THAT I WOULD WIN THE JUMP. BUT GUESS WHAT HAPPENED??!!! MY HAND ACTUALLY GOES THROUGH THE BALL & THE COMPUTER/GAME ALLOWS DRAGIC TO WIN THE JUMP!!! I WATCHED THE REPLAY, TOOK PICTURES & EVERYTHING! MY HAND WAS ACTUALLY INSIDE THE BASKETBALL SO THE GAME MADE ME "MISS" THE BALL(BECAUSE MY HAND WENT STRAIGHT THROUGH IT) WHICH ALLOWED DRAGIC TO KEEP ASCENDING(AFTER MY HAND HAD ALREADY TOUCHED & GONE THROUGH THE BALL) & WIN THE JUMP. What's the most amount of points you've scored in MyCareer so far? I think mine is 47. It seems to be harder to get crazy "video game" numbers in 2k15, or maybe I just have to level up even more. or I can just play on rookie for a stretch of games to see how much I can score.

122, but I forgot to turn my settings back on, I had rookie and casual on when I was playing with some friends at the house.

Otherwise I scored 96 in a playoff game. I usually don't try to be an insane scorer, but if I hadn't gone all out we would have lost the series.

My best overall game was against the Knicks with 71 points, 20 steals, 20 assists and 11 rebounds. Although I am on the Cavs ( I displaced Kyrie ). He will play point for the last 3 minutes off the 1st quarter and I just set screens for him and now trying to call for passes so I can get Screen Outlet.

Agreed, I'm a 6'3 PG and I average 6 rebounds a game and I haven't upgraded rebounding once. I only upgraded defence once or twice but I still get 2.5 blocks and 1.5 steals a game.

6'4 PG here with 19 outside shooting, 18 inside shooting, 19 Athleticism, 18 Playmaking, 4 Rebounding and 8 Defense.

I average 9 rebounds a game, it is all about timing and your vertical which is tied to your athleticism. Although the ball tends to bounce out of my hands more than I would like.

As far as defense at 8 my laterall is 81, so I am happy. Plus I have Eraser, Pick Pocket and Interceptor so I am very happy with that. Once I max the first 4 I will move on to defense so I can get the lockdown defenders and rebounding last for tenacious.

But I average a Triple Double and on most nights nearly a quadruple double a game with points/assists/steals and once in a while I will surpass 10 rebounds, but I am more of a fast break player, so I don't go out of my way for them unless I am about 12 feet or closer and I will grab it to activate One Man Fast Break.

And I just signed my deal with Nike . Using the Kobe Braves Blue and KD 35,000 degrees until I get to create my own.

I EVEN TOOK & HAVE PICTURES OF MY HAND "INSIDE"(DON'T ASK ME HOW) THE BASKETBALL. WHEN THE COMPUTER HAS DETERMINED TO WIN, IT WILL WIN BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. IF IT'S GONNA DO THINGS LIKE MAKING YOUR WHOLE HAND GO THROUGH THE BASKETBALL TO LET THE OPPOSING TEAM GET THE BALL THEN I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO CONCLUDE THAT THERE IS REALLY NO LIMIT TO THE EXTREMES THAT THIS VIDEO GAME WILL GO TO INORDER TO WIN A SIMPLE BASKETBALL GAME WHICH IS COMPLETELY UNFAIR & ALSO GIVES YOU VIRTUALLY NO CHANCE OF WINNING WHATSOEVER & IF THAT'S THE CASE THEN HONESTLY, WHAT'S THE POINT IN PLAYING? THE GRAPHICS OF THIS GAME ARE GREAT, BUT THE GAMEPLAY IS TERRIBLE. MY HAND WAS INSIDE THE BASKETBALL WITH MY FINGERS POKING OUT OF THE TOP OF IT. UNBELIEVABLY UNREAL BUT TRUE.

Kobe retired after 2 seasons in multiple mycareers. Come to think of it he might have been traded but i havent seen him in games or league leader stats but ill double check.

How tho???? I went to the Lakers in year 3 thinking that with Kobe retiring they'd probably be in the lead to really add some talent. I get there and there's nobody there....Randle and a bunch of other terrible created players.
