Does anyone know if the "form a big 3" thing on the social media is a legit offer or just for comedy sake?

I liked it in 2k13 when your GM would ask you what free agents you thought they should go for.

By my experience that social media thing is irrelevant. I tried it with a couple of guys, alway get some generic response "I'm down, make it happen" or something along those lines.

And when I finished my 2nd season and signed a max contract (20M per season) I didn't get to tell the GM who to bring in. That's also why I asked fo a trade, team got worse during the offseason. Hopefully it happens after season 3, would be cool if I could at 2 more guys next to my 94 PG, Jabari Parker and Howard lol.

Anyone notice that boosting is a bit of an issue? Almost pays not to cap an attribute category because boosting a category that is one bar short results in higher attributes.

After my 3rd year I had the opportunity to choose 2 ppl from free agency to play with, don't know if u ask to form a big 3 with someone raises the % that they will go to ur team.

The two people I asked came to my team so seems like 100%

After my 3rd year I had the opportunity to choose 2 ppl from free agency to play with, don't know if u ask to form a big 3 with someone raises the % that they will go to ur team.

The two people I asked came to my team so seems like 100%

Fill me in on this...I"ve seen it before but it didn't happen for me. Where you a free agent as well? Did you stay with the same team? What team where you with? Who did you ask? What was your Team Chemistry? Coach Chemistry?

After my Rookie season i signed a 3 year deal with Miami Heat, stayed with them all the way.

And at the end of my 3rd season I got a cutscene with the GM asking me to choose two players he would go after and try to sign, I chose - Jabari Parker and Blake Griffin.

So that leaves me with 1 year left on my Heat contract, so I wasn't in Free agency.

Team Chemistry around 90ish,
Coach chem I'm not exactly sure It switches so often, IMO it's broken. Really hard to try and increase. I just play and sometimes It goes up to like an 85, then it starts to go down to like a 75 even tho I'm putting up the same numbers, and W/L ratio.

Also in the cutscene the GM said something like, if our superstar is happy, everyone is happy. So It could have something to do with how well you player is upgraded. Right now my player is an All Around superstar(if you look where you put points into Ath,Inside scoring,Defense, Jump shooting). At some point I was a Two way superstar etc. And It the beginning I was a Sharpshooter.

So mayby when you reach the Superstar, AND the end of your 3rd year then you'll get to choose to form a big 3

Kobe just got injured on a jumpshot he's out 2-4 months with a dislocated patella. Why is that still in 2k? I don't know how we're gonna make the playoffs now it was pretty much just me and Kobe carrying the team every game. We're currently 24-18 which is 7th in the West. I'm gonna have to put up 40-50 points a game now to even have a chance of sneaking in to the playoffs.

Social media doesn't matter. Your gm gives you a list of players(looks like possible free agents) you get to pick 2, he will bring in both. I tested this on my rockets career and my gm got Paul George and Anthony Davis to Houston to play with me at center and harden. We are 36 mil over the cap

Do you guys with pg or on court coach use the tactics? I need some help trying to mix up my game and want to understand them better.

Are custom defense tactics useful? I dont really understand them.

On offense i use pick and rolls and call plays but not the freelance and motion cuts menus and all that stuff.

I just dont know what to use and when as im not a basketball expert on tactics at all.

I am a passing pg though and want to influence the game in a tactical way as i progress and my guy gets older

Do Arena sounds work? I couldn't get them to work last year and the same goes for this year.

First year as an athletic SF with Charlotte. As the 6 seed, we swept 3 seed Miami in the first round.

In round 2, I ran into Cleveland. I was extremely fortunate as Kyrie Irving was out the entirety of the series with a broken foot.

In Game 1, down 92-90, I drew a double team in the final seconds and passed to a wide open Kemba Walker, who bricked the three at the buzzer. This completely changed my mentality for the rest of the series. I wasn't gonna pass up shots in crucial moments again.

I came back to take the series lead 3-1 with close wins in Games 2 through 4.

In Game 5, I had my worst shooting performance of the year, going 4-15 from the field and scoring nine points. We lost 113-83.

In Game 6, I scored nine straight points to end the game, and we won by five, forcing a Game 7 that was all Charlotte. We're headed to the Eastern Conference Finals against Carmelo and the Knicks.

Can your player play point they are listed as Sg/Sf? If i have high playmaking ratings? Can he? I mean not handle the ball but play point like LeBron or any player?
