Strange game vs. the Mavs.. I have 5 turnovers.. every one of them icon passing when I'm being double teamed.. my SG threw the ball into the stands 3 times and into Dirk's feet 2 times.. I rarely EVER got double teamed before volume shooter.

Tied at 96.. and headed to overtime.. last time I had OT we got beat by 10 and we only scored 1 bucket. Won this one 111-106. Scary bad game for me late.. couldn't hit a wide open jumper this time .. wouldn't have gone to OT if I could have hit just a couple shots.. but got a couple free throws late to help anyway.

Sorry for the late response, practices has had me drained these past few days...

For the most part, teammates play really well on superstar, at least for me. They're still going to miss wide open shots, but they also make them too, it's about half and half, which I think is fair since it's to balance the game out.

Not a lot of rebounding cheese either, were in the top 5 for that.

I can see that on this setting, more than any other, star players do matter. You see a noticeable change in how good star players play compared to others, while on the lower difficulties everyone's star players and on HOF no one is. It goes both ways though, so you can expect the star of the other team to go off as well.

Example: Curry is averaging 21.2 points and 5 assist of the bench.

Still can't figure out how to get him in the starting lineup, he was for a short period of time but then they switched back to Thompson. Doesn't make any sense...

My first game on superstar and Harden went off for 41 points. He never any got close to 20 when I played on HOF. My teammates ratings seem to matter more I noticed too.

playing on superstar/sim, currently not using plays on a 4 game losing streak on superstar

For the love of God I can't for the life of me get player of the week. I literally dropped 30 points and at least 8 assist every game of the damn week and what do you know, I lost to Kevin Durant, who only scored 19 his last game. It's the only thing, or at least should be the only thing keeping me from my shoe endorsement and it looks like its never going to happen.

I'm shooting 58% from the field for Christ sakes.

playing on superstar/sim, currently not using plays on a 4 game losing streak on superstar

I was going to say to switch your offense to the Traingle since that's what I'm using with the Warriors on the same setting and were currently on a 9 game streak, but I think you have to have on court coach for that since your not a pg.

I haven't done plays as a shooting guard, but for me they were kinda useless since the players would either miss the shot or mess up the play and pass the ball to me, so I use strictly pick and roll/ball movement offense now.

It could be vastly different for you though since a majority of the plays will most likely be made for you being the sg and all. At the very least it should get you some points so I'd try it out at least.

At the All-Star break in Year 2. I'm taking part in all 4 events! I have no clue how to do this dunk contest stuff since I only have 3 bars in Athlete. I made a late push for the All-Star game since Ty Lawson is out with an injury. Currently averaging around 17 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.3 blocks, on .480/.395/.760 shooting.

Just got the NBA 2k cover after reaching 4 million fans. We are on 24-1 run, and 20-0 in last 20 games. I face Blazers, Spurs, Rockets, and Thunder in 4 of the 5 next games. Im really looking forward to those games. Since they are all in the west, it will show if we have a shot at a title

So far, I'm 8th in voting even though I'm averaging Derrick rose-MVP like numbers(25 ppg, 6.6asst, and 3.1 rbs). I want to make a smart remark about this being 2k's fault but honestly they were on the money with this one.

It's not about how well you're playing, but how popular you are when it comes to All-star voting.

So I had a not so good first half in one game, went 1/10. Couldn't make jack. Funny part about that is when I got subbed the smart mouth asst coach says "What was that?". My dudes counters back "its basketball, can't you tell!" lol . Bout time he said something smart back to that big mouthed idiot.

Can anyone tell me if he's on every team? If I get traded do I have to deal with him and Doc Rivers all over again?

Funny.. my SG talks back to him like every other time he gets yelled at.. they really made our players smug dicks at times in this one.. even funnier is the press conference crap.. but I noticed something.. I haven't had a press conference SINCE the first one after being traded to the Blazers from Wolves where the guy called me a traitor for leaving to a winner

Yes he's on every team. Some teams he's a middle aged white dude, others he's a black guy. Regardless of what character skin they use for him, he'll still smack his lips away at you after seemingly every practice, regardless of how you play.

And having to sit through the film sessions so you can learn coach's "points of emphasis" to enact in games, only to find that coach satisfaction seems to be completely irrelevant (like the practices).

2K definitely put effort into adding features into mycareer that have never been seen before on previous consoles...but a lot of them are just empty features, you know? What if you could actually gain some VC from playing a good scrimmage? What if coach satisfaction really mattered/affected your playing time/deciding when to play and when not to. Just some thoughts

My favorite part of the film sessions is that they NEVER use your own team in them.. I've had Cleveland, Clippers, Lakers, and I think Houston game video during sessions
