Yep! The cheese on Superstar is still bad at times but it's so much better than HoF. Really...to win on HoF you need the gimmicks. You play more against the coding/momentum than the other team. Who in HoF difficulty has NOT had some scrub nobody light you up from the 3 point line? I dispise the scriped parts of this game. It's maddening. I just wish the other 85% of the game was not so much fun...then I could wash my hands of it once and for all. DAMN YOU 2k! ;-)

I mentioned it before...but playing a big guy on HoF is much easier than playing pg or sg. If you control the boards, play good D and jump to the shooter at the right time you can really effect the game. Mind you, this is assuming you are monitoring the 'scripted' parts of the game where your team turns into the Keystone cops.

Have to laugh at one glitch the other night. Playing Golden State and guarding Bogut. He went to block the shot shoots and lands about 5 feet past the backboard. I am in the perfect position to rebound. However, seeing as he had blocked 2 rediculous shots in the last minute I knew the 'fix' was on with him. He moved the 5 feet so fast that the replay could not pick it up. He was out of bounds one second and then under the basket getting the rebound (I magically moved to the side). He outlets the pass to a guard. I play using the 2K camera so the screen flips direction. My guy is slowing starting to run down court. Where is bogut you ask? Well, you would think he would be right next to me seeing as he is as slow as a rock. Just after the camera switch he was at HALF COURT on the break with the team. I just made it to half court as he was two hand dunking. LOL. Ah....you just have to laugh at it I guess.

I have been playing on HOF since the game came out so I got stories for days. It's takes a lot out of you playing on HOF and made it hard for me to play two games in a row.

I use normal. I tried quick but the timing was too hard to get use to.

You can win on HOF but it will take a lot out of you. The CPU cheese is to much. You can go to a better team but your player will still have to do everything if you want to win. Just save yourself the frustration and switch to superstar.

Tbf I'm getting things like 30+ pts 10 + assists and still losing. My teammates literally miss EVERYTHING. I'll shoot around 45% for the game but the team total I'd always in the low 30s whilst the cpu always shoots high 50s to 60s

That's the main problem with HOF. Your teammates miss everything. The game just defaults all their ratings to 50 it seems like. I was on the hornets and found a play that would get Al Jefferson guarded by a pg in the post one on one. I ran it 10 times in a row. Guess how many times he scored. 0

Is Doc Rivers still your coach in the 3rd season? I'm asking because my team was the worst team in the league in my 2nd season, and he got fired, or maybe he just disappeared, and he's not coaching any team in my 3rd season.

Probably 2K's way of retiring him? Funny that it's a broken neck though, when all injuries come through wide open jumpers

Lol I'm thinking the same thing too but he's only 36 and he was averaging 23, 5, 3. He was doing good so I was hoping for a answer to see if he would be coming back next season and he's still under contract.

i have a crappy lakers team on my season 2 and after 8 losses in a row i did that and man that made the game so much better, lost 2 close games but its way more fun losing that way then losing the game in the 3rd qtr

On superstar how do your teammates play and how is the rebounding.

Sorry for the late response, practices has had me drained these past few days...

For the most part, teammates play really well on superstar, at least for me. They're still going to miss wide open shots, but they also make them too, it's about half and half, which I think is fair since it's to balance the game out.

Not a lot of rebounding cheese either, were in the top 5 for that.

I can see that on this setting, more than any other, star players do matter. You see a noticeable change in how good star players play compared to others, while on the lower difficulties everyone's star players and on HOF no one is. It goes both ways though, so you can expect the star of the other team to go off as well.

Example: Curry is averaging 21.2 points and 5 assist of the bench.

Still can't figure out how to get him in the starting lineup, he was for a short period of time but then they switched back to Thompson. Doesn't make any sense...

With the Seasons award showing up, I am 1st in MVP, Defensive Player, and Most Improved Player award. I really think legit shot at title. I am working on a few badges.
I really want to start a new career a PG. But, I kind of want to wait to see if I there is a patch coming along soon. I don't want to start a new career and restart if a new patch comes along.

I start a new career as center for the Wizards. Im 10 games into my career and Wall breaks his ankle. Thats 20ppg gone now and I dont know how we are gonna win games unless I go full shaq and drag this team to the playoffs.

Miller has one of the slowest shots in the game but somehow never gets blocked. For some reason Beal is super inconsistent. Cant wait for a chem to go up.

I'm coming up on 60 games played, meaning I should be close to the shoe endorsement. Question though, do you have to have all the other endorsement before that one is available?

What's confusing me is that I just unlocked the State Farm deal yet I haven't got the sprint deal yet. This leads me to believe that it doesn't really matter, but the agent said I "already had sprint locked up" so I'm thinking I should've gotten that first but it's kinda hard to get player of the week with KD dropping 40 every game.

These endorsements are real screwy lmao.

Just got the Nike endorsement. I got it after scoring 3 consecutive games with 40pts, and a 4 game with 36 pts.
I want to start a new career soon, but I probably will just build up VC with this career to use in my other career.
