Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Gave MyPark another chance after I managed to bump up my athlete to level 20 and at 85 overall, but I give up. It's unplayable. I always get teamed up with some chumps alergic to passing, who don't understand to defend THEIR guy and just jack up threes all day long, even when nobody is in the post to try and rebound. And to top it off, there are a bunch of 90+ overall maniacs with cowboy hat fetish who obviously maxed out all attributes day 1 by buying VC and just dunk over you all day. Part I like most is how I know exactly when an alley-op is upcoming and even if I'm positioned perfectly in front of the lob pass receiver I CAN NOT DO A DAMN THING (if only I could pass like that in myCareer instead of having my passes easily intercepted all to often because they are thrown so low). Too bad there aren't different parks for us myCareer players and those MyPark aliens.Last edited by ReRo; 11-03-2014, 11:12 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
So getting back on topic, yea my PG starting his second year and signing with the Cavs. I started my PG as a Raw-Athletic Point Guard and hoping to develop him into an assist machine with the occasional "yes I can still drive it to the rim and dunk on 7'2 Centers".
Started at 64 OVR and am now 78 OVR.
Playing with Lebron and Love has been pretty sweet. The biggest problem on the Cavs? Varejao. He's about as worthless as they come. He brings nothing to the table. He can't shoot, he can't defend, and he can't rebound against another decent rebounder.
He's ....well...worthless so I'm hoping the coach trades him or gets another Center to build on. Which brings me to my next opinion.
In my opinion the overall difficulty of the playing positions in MyCareer from hardest to easiest:
1. PG
2. SF
3. PF
4. SG
5. C
Playing perimeter defense against a good PG like Westbrook, Curry, Paul, Rose, Parker, Wall, Irving, etc. is pretty rough. Granted you can defend them sometimes but more often than not they break BOTH your ankles.
There are maybe a handful of Centers that are decent, but most are ridiculously easy to defend. In fact, defending the post in 2k is pretty worry free.Last edited by extremeskins04; 11-03-2014, 11:17 AM.Comment

Yea it's a lottery when you play with random people. Sometimes you get good teammates, and sometimes not.

Is it possible to do flashy dunks with a 6'3 185 PG? Or do I need to get the inside attribute up more?Comment

My PG is 6'3. You just need posterization Gold.....and your playmaker/athletic attributes up. Click "HD" on these videos for better quality.
