Seems like 8 mins is the sweet spot to get enough points to compete with others on the leaderboard.

I'm getting pretty tired of playing 36+ minutes a game. It's like this every year... Smh

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread

So, with 3 games left in my fist season, I simmed them because I couldn't even bother playing them, knowing that my team, the Magic, sucked big time; 14-68, worst record. I finally signed with the Lakers, where there's no Nash, Boozer and Henry, but the rest of the team remains the same and there are some bench-warming rookies. So far, we are 0-4 and being torched and losing by 15+ (AGAIN!) except one game where we couldn't hit a 3-point winning shot (which by the way Kobe didn't want to shoot, although he finally did).

I'm so freaking frustrated, all the games go the same way. My team starts decent, but in the 2nd quarter the opponent makes a huge run and the game is basically over because my team mates can't do ****, as I already mentioned. Kobe is good but underwhelming, Young is so unconsistent, Randle and Hill are good rebounders but they suck at shooting and defense, Lin seems decent but he doesn't do much, Kelly sucks big time.

I don't expect to win Champions with them or anything like that, but this is getting ridiculous. The cheese is real. My team mates IQ is beyond stupid, especially the bench which I thought that could be decent (improving Orlando's didn't look hard to accomplish) but the only one who does a decent job is Ed Davis (which is my mentor/friend by the way). I'm considering lowering down the difficulty, but I'm afraid I wouldn't enjoy it because it might be too easy or not fairly challenging enough.

Sorry for my rant, I had to vent after losing so many games and having dumb team mates that don't help much.

Gets better in your 2nd season, and then in your 3rd ...you're a master of all creation. Just play smart and don't try to take every shot.

Since 2k11 I've played on Hall of Fame/Simulation and I felt like it was good since my team could actually shoot and win games. Until this year I honestly can't do ANYTHING to help my team, I'll give them an open look by the other team double teaming me and they'll just brick it no matter who it is (I'm on the knicks surrounded by 3 point shooters). I've tried Hall of Fame/Default, Superstar/Simulation, Superstar/Default. Today I'm going to try out AllStar/Simulation and see if we can win a game verses the worst team in the league.

Guys it does not matter what difficulty you set it on IN YOUR ROOKIE YEAR. You will see this horrible AI. It's like this in every rookie season. You need to go through the pain of your first rookie season and then when you sign to a new team OR stay with your current, it gets better I promise.

I signed with the Cavs and Lebron, Irving, Waiters, and Love all play lights out. Varejao isn't that good at rebounding it seems but the rest of the team play great. Lebron plays like Lebron.

Don't start forcing shots and you'll be fine. Give them open looks and they make them. Not every shot obviously but it's MUCH better than your 1st year. Trust me.

In 2k13 you could you had the option to change the simulated quarter length and it worked fine.. still got the endorsements and post season awards... why can't they just patch that on to 2k15?

I agree with this. But I do think you have to be on a contending team to win games on HoF, considering all the attribute boosts the opponent gets. Im winning a lot of games on HoF 2nd season, can blowout the worst teams like the Magic and 76ers, have some really good close games against other teams. My last game was a 2 point win @Blazers with a nice 4th quarter comeback. So far I just have not won a game against OKC and the Clippers, haven't played the Cavs yet. I think they will give me lots of problems too.

It's so important to get your teammates in a rythm and get stops. Only then you can go on a run and the opponent starts missing shots. And when you make mistakes you get punished.

Well, i'm coming up on the playoffs now. I signed a 1 year contract so I'll leave the rockets after the season. I actually liked playing with them. They did play like themselves overall for me.

                            Average Grade A+

I wanna go to the Sixers, but playing with Harden cause he shoots. OFTEN. Sixers have nobody. New Yorks eying me too. Dallas is at the top... smh. It really matters who's on what team.

Yep all good points. Although I only play on All-Star/Sim. I'm not that good yet. Another thing is when you have someone hot, you run plays with them. Not plays for you, plays for them and they will continue to be crazy good. I had Lebron make like 5 shots in a row before the other team took a timeout.
