You're playing on simulation sliders and wondering why you're not able to shoot unrealistically every game?

The intention of simulation is to keep shooting percentages at a realistic level. 9-20 is quite realistic (45% shooting). Are you expecting to have a perfect game every game? Shoot 60% for the season or something? If you are upset because you had a 9-20 shooting game for ONE GAME (which is probably an average game for most nba shooters) then that is crazy.

At least play on default sliders if you really want to shoot cheesily. But don't wonder why the computer is forcing you to have a realistic shooting game when that's exactly what you asked it to do.

because my FG% prior to my 4th season was at a career level 59%, and I've always been able to play on Simulation. I've been able to average 30PPG on other careers also on simulation.

I've had several very poor shooting games for no other reason than the game has decided I should now be a poor shooter, when in previous seasons I wasn't. last season I had a very comfortable 50-40-90 and now I'm struggling to get 50-40, my FT shooting is still cash.

I don't wanna shoot 'cheesily' so stop assuming I'm bad at the game and this is my fault, I've had three great seasons of very good shooting and now the game won't let me make easy buckets

No offence but 59% shooting for a career is cheese. But that's your choice.

I have no idea why you can't shoot anymore, but the reason I assumed that is because you literally said the last game you shot like 60% and then you went 9/20.

I'm not saying it's "your fault" or whatever. It's just a game really bro, I don't even see why pride is coming into it lol.

Hey how many games you said needed to be played overall to get the shoe deal ? Was it 78 games played total including the playoff?

You get the shoe deal after you complete every other endorsement before it, which could vary but SHOULD be achieved around 60 games played, that's the most popular time.

Multiple factors play into this though, which could leave you like me with no idea when it'll happen, but yeah, 60 games is the time frame you should be aiming for.

Just found out im going to participate in the 3 pt contest. Anyway to practice this mode out of my career?

90% positive they removed that feature! as I couldn't find it anywhere before my contest.

And just for the record, be prepared to rage. That 3 point contest is some serious cheese and super buggy if you want to win it. It took me 2 hours.

Yeah that's what I heard, watched couple of video's on it and it seems crazy, which is why I wanted to practice.

On another note is there a way to add wrist bands to your player in my career? Not sweat bands but the thinner ones players wear on their wrists? I see other people on my team have them but see no option to buy them in the store in my career.

How much games in the second season is played before he talks to you again then your agent talks to you about it? Cause I'm at 57 games right now I believe.

Theres no exact estimate really, the closest I can give you to that is it should happen 5 played games after your Gatorade deal. and another 5 games after that before you can actually wear the shoes.(finalized contract)

Like I said you need all the other endorsement before that one before you can get the second meeting with Jackson Ellis. What endorsement do you have already?

All of them but the sprint B but on my last career I got the shoe deal at the end of November going into the beginning of December I'm current on November 8 and I didn't have my second meeting with him yet. Only 5 games in (no simming at all through out) so its pretty soon, but I have a feeling it's approaching soon.

I am so done with this game, no matter how good you are, the guards all become kobe doing fadeaway bull**** and the big men become a olajuwon kobe hybrid doing post fades, making contested 3s easily, this is not realistic AT ALL. On HoF/Sim, which you need to be good at. Considering the AI scores 80% of their buckets regardless of defense. And your teammates can't hit squat.

Of course I was trying to get Killer Crossover with my SG that accounted for some of them.

You need to do it a lot earlier this year. Even with only 71 Ball Control, I can do some sick crosses that result in dunks/layups. It's all timing. You can't just charge into the defender full steam and do a crossover, that stuff won't fly this year.

Anyone tried spins? For me they're completely useless this year, followed by between the legs. Euros also don't really work well, as do hops. Too easy for the CPU to cheese into charges/steals.

I just got that buzzer beater deal literally, but on my previous career I didn't have it and I still got my deal around Late November early December.

So I know you have to have 1500 assist and a 3:1 ratio. Some people have said you get it at the end of the season. Is that the regular season or does mean after the playoff's and finals??

I meant the major ones Lol, like sprint, Gatorade, and state farm.

I dont know if there's an exact formula, im just going off of what Ive experienced and read on other threads. On my old deleted career I got the Gatorade deal around the end of November and meet Jackson Ellis a second time in early December, exactly 5 games later if I remember correctly. After that, 2k deleted my file and I had to start over.

On this new save, im waiting on the Gatorade deal only and its already late February. I havent done anything different, in fact I simmed more in my first career than this one. I think the endorsement that screwed me over was state farm, as there were multiply games where I averaged over 10 assist and never got the deal even though I was well past the game played requirements, then at one point out of the blue it just happened. Im thinking that set Gatorade back a few games, so im patiently waiting.
