If Ariza and Harden could make WIDE OPEN 3's i would easily have 30 assist per game.

I consider the game 'throttled' to an extent. Take rebounds for instance. If I get 20 in the first half I KNOW that at some point the ball will start to bounce away from me or I will lose ever contested rebound. No matter what I do it is next to IMPOSSIBLE to get over 34 rebounds. I will have 5 straight 30+ rebound games....none...over 34. The game adjusts to the point I got over 34 twice. I got 37 in a playoff game and the other time I got 47 because I REFUSED to shoot the ball even though the computer begged me.

With my PG it's the same way. I can get 6 assists in 8 mins. Then every open 3, every pick and roll where the guy has a dunk...does not matter...they will miss....IF I AM THE ONE FEEDING THE BALL. I just stop trying to make assists because I know the code has dictated I won't get any more for a quarter.

Said it before...85% of the game is money-f-ing good. It's the 15% scripted stuff that just makes me so mad I could spit nails.

Hi im new to the NBA2K game, i want to start my career and i want to know, which position might be the best for a beginner like me? im planning to play on HoF because that the way how you earn vc, ive watched some videos and you wont earn that much on lower difficult. so i guess the PG, the playmaker, wont be a good choice right? should i go for PF or SF ? and which style should i use? athletic? defense, kump shoot?

My SF is the easiest to play. I always go athletic first. You might want to work your way up to HOF if you are new to the game but that's up to you.

SF imo is the easier to play getting in to 2k. You get triple doubles like nothing, score with ease on a great team, and rebound like the bigs. For the most just go Athletic, Defense, and Inside Scoring. You could work on outside shooting in your second season.

Superstar is not a bad difficulty to start. You get a 1.50 multiplier and still earn quite a bit VC. HOF takes patients with all the stuff that happens.

Got my butt KICKED by Kobe and the Lakers last night. Blazers teammates were worthless..

I put up 40 (17-32 shooting) and only Aldridge was in double figures otherwise with 11 points.. if I hadn't shot 32 times we'd have lost by 40 instead of just 115-90. Kobe scored 33 (15-23) and FIVE other Lakers were in double digits and 11 total players got a bucket for the Lakers.

We are still 3rd in the west at 30-16 but not a very good 6-4 last 10 and 2 game losing streak

oh and btw, when i play on superstar, which mode should i choose? sim, normal, or this other mode (forgot the name)

Results in practice are getting better.. but they're still not that good.. I can't figure out how to do the pick & roll practice.. I set a screen EVERY offensive possession.. get a B+ or A- grade but the play itself NEVER happens because Lillard's guy usually goes AROUND me instead of getting screened.. and when I do get a screen 'vibration'.. Lillard reverses and goes back where he started.. and of course we get yelled at after practice

Was 2nd in all star voting in the west for much of the last 4 games or so then after just beating Phoenix I guess I ended up the top vote getter in the West.. then 2k takes DOWN the voting totals in the Awards list so I can't see the rest anymore??

I was leading the MVP race.. then the all-star voting ended.. and Durant and LeBron are 1/2 ahead of me all of a sudden .. don't know if it's possible to beat Durant for MVP?

Lmao I just had the animation happen when you're guy randomly starts clapping for no reason at all in the middle of the game. I'm walking the ball up the court and start to drive to the rim and he just tosses the ball and starts clapping. I wanted to be mad but I honestly couldn't stop laughing the animation is just lmao.

I really wish I could've recorded that man, it's a vine out there of it I know that if you want to see what it looks like Lol.

Also, 10 game win streak, 12-2 plus first in the West averaging career highs across the board. Loving the Rockets right now.
