NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread

Midway through the fifth season (sixth if you include the rookie half season) and my Cavaliers and I are 43-9, leading the NBA by a big margin having just come off a huge 101-68 win against the second-best Hornets.

My stat line is:

I have 9 of 10 hall of fame milestones with the last one I need being 5 all star selections which will trigger in two or three games when I get to the all star break.
Career accolades are:
2x NBA MVP (2018-19)
2x NBA Champion (2018 Houston & 2019 Cleveland)
4x NBA All-Star (2016-19)
2x 1st Team All-NBA (2018-19)
Defensive Player of the Year (2019)
3x 1st Team All-Defense (2017-19)

This season I led the league for All-Star voting, currently lead the MVP and DPOY races and have won the EC Player of the Month in all three months so far.

Just played Game 3 and it was the most lopsided game ever. We lost by 12 against the Spurs. I know we are on the road but come on, my teammates could not hit a single shot while Tony Parker came up and hit countless 3s on Mike Conley. Zach Randolf and Marc Gasol had 10 rebounds combined while Duncan and Splitter had 24 combined. They got ever Offensive Rebound it seemed like.

Then there was my performance. By far the worst ever in a road game. Despite having Road dog and Primetime I played terrible. Couldn't make a dunk, FT, or shot. I kept missing everything and could find my teammates for anything because they were missing shots also.

Now the series is 2-1, Ima need to step up and win game 4. Just disappointed in how this game ended. Well our winning streak ended at 16 games.

Like in your 2017 James harden & Blake griffin are free agents is there a way to get one of them on your team or lure them their?

Like in your 2017 James harden & Blake griffin are free agents is there a way to get one of them on your team or lure them their?

Not sure TBH but it should work the same way unless your only able to get 2 stars on your team.

Seems a lot harder now to run the pick and roll for some reason, the defense collapses on me so fast.

In my second file - started after third patch, the ai defense is a lot better. Ai double teams and pick-and-roll d is more responsive to my movement. Rotations seem better now too.

6'7" PG(pass-first play style) on the NYK on HOF Sim just finished my 4th season. ...So after we won and he game is loading, the GM asks me to ask for 2 players I want him to go after, and I chose Al Jefferson and Dirk. So the offseason simulates, and we have them both, but no Melo. He had a player option, so I assumed after winning 2 rings with us that he'd stay, but I thought wrong. No clue what team he went to, but we'll be fine.

I feel for you. In my Alanta PG file, I took the Hawks to the NBA Finals, secured their first title since 1957 and was voted the Finals MVP as a rookie.

The Hawks rewarded me by offering me a lowball contract offer of only 2 years and 1/2 VC of the next highest bidder.

You would think they would have wanted to offer me a max contract to keep the team intact. Especially since they are under the cap.

Is there anyway to get other stars after you talk to the GM & get your big 3 like asking them to form one in there upcoming off season would that help get them to your team? Like in your 2017 James harden & Blake griffin are free agents is there a way to get one of them on your team or lure them their?

The only other way I heard about (no experience if this works) is to ask them to join you in a big three (they must be following you) and then demand a trade to a different team.

I don't know if this works or not but I found this on the Steam forums.

My 7'1 center with 75 three point rating is better at shooting 3s than my point guard with maxed out jump shooting.

My 7'1 center with 75 three point rating is better at shooting 3s than my point guard with maxed out jump shooting.

In preparation for my first full season, I need to work on taking better shots and working on my jump shots. I drive to the basket too much and miss to many lay ups because of it. I actually have a solid three ball, and a good mid range jumper, I'm just scared to use it I guess, lol

LOL @ this game

Lol one time I Got protect the paint objective and them got 5 blocks in ine quarter all on driving guards and held the other team to 5 points at all in the time and my satisfaction went from an A to a C- lol okay then 2k

And can someone tell me why when I signed a max deal with GS I don't get the option to pick players I want my gm to get? Idk if it matters but I'm not a superstar yet my ovr is only 93 but because of how long ago I stared this save I AM the hugest rated player I even have the alpha dog badge

People have said you have to be 2nd year(IIRC) of the max deal and GM will bring it up

Now that Hinrich is back from injury on my MJ career, Rose has disappeared from the bench. He is out for his career in my game. It just broke my heart how he got injured in real life again.
