Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
So basically I've gotten tired of MyTeam and have moved over to MyCareer and have not had much experience with it. I've read 10+ pages and cant find too much help. With that being said, I'm gonna ask a few questions:
1)What is the best way to earn VC? I've already got it on superstar and I usually get around 700-800 VC a game.
2)I'm a 6'8 230 SF, what attributes should I upgrade faster than others?
3)How do I acquire more badges? All I have is pick&roll maestro.
If there is anything else that you may want to add on, it would be appreciated. Those are just the initial questions that I want to figure out ASAP. ThanksComment

Depends on your play style really. I'm someone who likes to slash, so Athlete & inside scorer were always crucial for me.
The only thing I'd advise, is don't waste VC updating your rebound column as it's unnecessary. You'll still get loads of boards without updating it a single bar. I've recently started a 5"7 pg career, and I'm still in my first half season, but even that dude is averaging over 6 boards/game.
When you get your attributes up and you want to attempt to get some of the shooting badges, reduce the difficulty right down to rookie for a couple of games to work on them.
This will definitely help you with the badges:

Playing park is a good way to rack up a bit of extra vc, but as a 6"8 SF, you'll be paired against the 7ft SF behemoths that roam the plains of MyPark. Also, download the 2k app that has a VC card game that will give you free vc every 24hrs, to the tune of 600-1400.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I am thinking of making a new guy for the Park and am looking for some recommendations. I currently have a point gaurd and center. I feel like my point gaurd has his limitations and isn't that great of a shooter. I'm undecided on wether I should make a shooting gaurd or a stretch power forward.
Does anybody have a power forward it seems there pretty rare, how do you like yours in the Park? Are they able to contain 2s and 3s defensively?
If I decide to make a 2 gaurd what's a good height? Does max height make them slow? How about body type and wingspan? I don't want to dump a bunch of VC on him then regret it.Last edited by P234thetruth; 03-04-2015, 03:47 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I hopped back on my original MC save after playing my PG save and then starting another SF. I wanted to team with Davis and Lillard during the offseason, but the Hornets took on 18 million in salary during the season when they trade for Millsap and Cole. They the added another 10 million when they resigned MKG and signed Jerami Grant during FA. Between my 3yrs/45 mil, Jeffersons 3yrs/55 mil, Walkers 3yrs/36 mil, and Millsaps 3yrs/37 mil we're screwed until 2019 when it comes to signing anyone to fill our needs for a legit backup center and another PF. Davis is with BKN along with Lopez and the Greek Freak once the get rid of Johnson and let this 72 rated 2nd year player get some legit run. Through 36 minutes the dude outplays Johnson in every category.Say "No" to railroaded MC modes.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Is there a list of consensus best jump shots/crossovers etc to use?
Been using Tony Parker jump shot but its meh, can't seem to find crossovers etc that I like enough to stick with.
Sorry if this is a total nob question.Comment

I get so tired of getting screwed out of blocks. If they want to make it, they do and it goes right through my hand.

I could not guard Monte Ellis that last game. He ended up with 41 points, most of those against me. Embarrassing.Chicago Bulls

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I want to make a dominant scorer that can hit from everywhere and drive as well, already got some bigs I play with. What do you guys recommend shooting guard or small forward? I'm leaning toward shooting guard but so torn between the two.Comment
