I think you have to sit it out until your GM asks you for suggestions.
Or you try to use twitter to ask players that follow you (Highlighted names) to form a big 3.

I thought I'd hop back into the park after a while, after 4 games I remember why I stopped playing it.

Unrelated but loving what this patch did to smooth out player movement. It's noticeable and feels awesome.

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread

I mentioned this in this thread forever ago, but Cavaliers somehow managed to land the #1 pick in the 2016 draft via a trade in my MyGm. This is despite the fact that they finished in second place in the East in the 2015-2016 season. But here we are in the 2016-2017 season, and on top of LeBron, Love, and Irving, they landed a what appears to be a perennial All-Star caliber, 7'2", 280 pound behemoth of a center in Toni Popovic.

Here's the average points per game output those four players are averaging:

                LeBron James: 25.7 PPG
                Kevin Love: 24.9 PPG
                Kyrie Irving: 23.9 PPG
                Toni Popovic: 16.3 PPG

                TOTAL: 90.8 PPG

And Popovic, as a rookie, is averaging 9.7 RPG and 1.4 BPG to go along with his 16.3 PPG...as a rookie. They're somehow in third place in the East (behind the 76ers despite having a 6.7 point-differential to the 76ers 0.3 point-differential) at 46-24, but they've handed me two of my ten losses and they're the only team that's beaten me twice this season.

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread

For those wondering about when GM will reach out to you to make him suggestions for trades or off-season acquisitions, I will tell what happened in my MyCareer, a 6'4'' 200 lbs PG.

After not even qualifying for the playoffs in the 1st season with Lakers (2nd overall), Kobe went to the Blazers (7 million, 1 year) and Lakers signed Alec Burks (77 overall) as replacement and in general the team got worse. I was tired of playing and didn't feel like asking for a trade, so I simulated the WHOLE season (crazy, I know) Surprisingly, the team did better than previous season with a worse team, and we qualified for the playoffs as 7th or 8th (don't remember) and lost in the 1st Round. I signed a 2-year deal, so that would be my last season before going to free agency again.

The process was very similar to the previous one. Your agent ask you to choose 3 teams, some players come to your house to try to recruit you, all that jazz. I finally got a MAX CONTRACT with the Pacers (getting the achievement ). We know how they don't have a good PG, and Paul George was still on the team, so I said "Why not?". Now it's when the good stuff comes.

Right after signing, GM comes and openly asks which 3 players from the free agency would I want to join the team, and he would try to make it happen because he wants to "make the superstar happy". There were a bunch of interesting players, but I finally chose Kobe Bryant (he still didn't retire, surprisingly), Blake Griffin (who had a player option but didn't execute it and another player I don'r remember.

After off-season simming, I finally go to the main MyCareer screen and when I go to see the roster I see this:

PG - Jack Jackson, 93 Overall (my guy)
SG - Kobe Bryant, 83 Overall (almost 40 and still 80+, incredible
SF - Paul George, 92 Overall
PF - Blake Griffin, 89 Overall
                  C - Roy Hibbert, 73 Overall

                  Bench:
                  Jarryd Bayless - PG/SG, 74.
                  George Hill - PG/SG, 71.
                  Damien Inglis - SF/PF, 74.
                  Ersan Ilyasova - PF/SF, 72.
                  Vitor Faverani - C, 68.
And a few other players I don't remember right now.

All-star starting five, underwhelming (to say the least) bench. However, Bayless and Inglis have worked great for me so far, especially the first; he's got some good badges like Microwave.

So, based on my experience, I think you should get a max contract to be able to make suggestions to your GM. I haven't seen other people say otherwise, so you it might be the only chance to do it.

Oook so i made a 6'6 sf post trade deadline rosters went to the wizards loving it we may or may not make the playoffs as we are 1 game out of 8th seed with like 10 games left but i have been loving it here playing for the wizards and am starting to think i may stick around here seeing as we have 3 positions locked down for at least the next 5 years with me at sf wall and beal all we need is a young pf and c to take over for gortat and nene when the time comes.
Here is my dilemma tho i am IRL a Bulls fan the only reason i made my guy a SF was so i can go to the Bulls . Usually i sign to the clippers in FA so Doc stays HC there than i ask for a trade to Chicago but seeing as Thibs may be gone in real life after this year i have no problem with Chicago native Doc Rivers being my head coach in chicago now. But im loving playing for the wizards so what do u think i should do guys go to my hometown team the Bulls who are older but still very talented or stay with the team that gave me a chance that is young and talented in 3 primary positions with the Wizards
Only thing in sports that matters is Chicago Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and Blackhawks .

Are there any official mypark guidelines on how you increase rep? Does win give more points or getting many points gives u more than playing good?

Yeah, that happened in mine, too. After spending my first season in Milwaukee, I went to the Pacers my second season. We went 58-24 and beat the Thunder in the Finals in six. Get to the off-season and the GM asks me who I'd like for him to try and trade for. I requested Anthony Davis and Bradley Beal, not expecting to get but MAYBE one of them...we got both of them.

                        This is our starting lineup:

                        PG | Me (94 OVR)
SG | Bradley Beal (85 OVR)
SF | Paul George (91 OVR)
PF | Anthony Davis (94 OVR)
                        C | Roy Hibbert (81 OVR)

And David West is our sixth man. We're 63-10 and our average point-differential on the season is close to 15 points.

The Hornets traded Kemba Walker who averaged 16.2 ppg and 7.6 apg while being 10th in the league in 3pt% and 4th in 3s made for 34 year old Tony Parker.

You got even luckier than I did And Roy Hibbert didn't go down as much as mine did, probably because I'm in my 4th season and you in 2nd, so regression issue still didn't appear on him; I can't complain, though, because he still gets the job done for me, being a rock defensively and putting up some points here and there on offense. How much money did Beal get? Kobe got a 1-year, 7m contract, which I can tell you is cheap seeing how he's still balling for me (I wish real Kobe had that contract :P). Me, George and Griffin get between 17-20m a piece, and I think Hibbert is about 5-6 (I don't remember now). That would explain why my bench isn't that good, I hope there's no major injury.

We're 10-4 if I remember correctly, we're still building that chemistry, but I'm enjoying a lot playing with George and Griffin, they're really really good. Blake plays some C minutes because Hibbert barely plays 30 minutes, but he usually does a good job, and playing PnR with him is a pleasure, since we both have our respective PnR badges. George isn't as "flashy", but he gets his numbers, and can get hot from long range quickly; also, a great on-ball defender and good fastbreak and alley-oop finisher. Kobe is Kobe; deadly post game, good pull-up jumpers and, surprinsingly, a more than consistent 3pt shooter (especially catch-and-shoot situations) around 38-40 %; he barely gets 10 pts per game, but he's really useful when me, Griffin or George aren't having our best game.

I hope 2k works on that regression, it's kind of sad to see solid role players be in the mid-60s. But that's a discussion for another time/thread, right?

Wow, that sucks I still bothers me to remember when the Lakers traded Nick Young for Randy Foye, it ****ed up the team. But that's even worse, some trade logics...

made a new career with a 7"2 Center, trying to sort of emulate Shaq and just be the kind of player who just bangs inside.

Went into a game against the Nets averaging 6.6 points, 1.7 blocks and 9.3 rebounds from my first 12 career games. Coach said he was gonna start me in the Nets game and this happened.
