Haven't gotten my shoe deal yet but have signed with Nike...I thought that it wouldn't charge me for buying Nikes? Or is that only when I have my shoe deal?

I bought some Nike shoes and the money was subtracted away.

This happened at the end of year three for me. I played out the shortened first season then resigned with the Hornets, played my whole second season and won a title, simmed maybe half of the third year and lost in the finals and over the off season signed with the Pelicans (not a max deal) to team up with Anthony Davis. At that point after I signed the GM asked me who I wanted (went with Wiggins and Embiid), needless to say my lineup is murder and my team is about 22-1 right now.

Yeah i think it varies. For me, it happened at the end of my second year after signing w/ Houston, winning MVP, and championship. May have to have cap space, and FAs will vary year to year. GM also offers trade targets and not just to FAs on the list. I asked for Anthony Davis and Andrew Wiggins to pair with me and James Harden. Currently around 40-0 lol. I only have to average around 15ppg which is ideal for my PG.

It's crazy how much fun I'm having with so many stars on my team. I can just run plays, move the ball around and not even have to score or force to win games. Doesn't feel cheap either after "struggling" on some ok teams my first couple of years I feel like I've earned a bomb squad. Best thing is the whole core is locked up for like 3 years.

Did you make that? Because I shoot less than 50% on post ups on point guards.

Yeah I posted him about 6 times that game and scored on each of them. But being a 7"2 Center against him being 5"9 I don't think the game could BS me that much!

During the off season of your rookie year, when your teammate asks you to resign with the team you just played for, if you answer "yes" to resigning... what happens? Do you get a max contract for saying yes? Do they give you more money for saying you want to stay there? Do you still get to look at other teams offers? Very curious about it because i would like to resign with my first team... but dont know whether or not to risk saying yes to that question. Thanks

I told my teammates I wanted to stay there. I still got to see what other offers were out there. I got max contract offers for the Hornets, 76ers, Magic, Bucks, and Nets. I got several near max deals and got some decent offers from really good teams like the Cavs, Bulls, and Warriors for like 2 years 23 million with a player option for a 3rd.

Exact same feeling here. Really makes the game enjoyable when your team actually plays defense and can score w/ or w/o me facilitating the offense. Then I can focus on playing great D and spacing the floor on offense. I actually trust my teammates, and running plays has become FUN. Im hoping I can add one more star player to
                      Me(96)
                      Harden(95)
                      Wiggins(85)
                      Davis(94)
(all locked up for the future)
And I do not feel cheap at all lol I've had to suffer through sub par teams the majority of mycareer. And having multiple stars just makes the game more fun where I can focus on playing smart basketball rather than finding different cheesing methods.

Yeah, I wish I could trust my teammates. In my second year (second team), the Hornets, I start at PG. It's a decent young squad, a good team to consider growing (signed a two year deal) with. I start the season at PG due to Jrue Holiday suffering a spinal injury (which has had him out for a whole season, probably another with a 6-8 month return timetable at the beginning of my 3rd year) and have a solid supporting cast with Anthony Davis, Tyreke Evans, Eric Gordon and Omer Asik. We barely squeak into the playoffs at a 8 seed.

After reading these forums I feel like I truly accomplished something beating the Warriors in game 7 after being down in the series 3-1. We lost Tyreke Evans for the playoffs, due to broken ankle. Next round was the Thunder, but with Westbrook out with injury, we were able to beat them in 6. Barely beat Portland in the Conference Finals in another game 7.

I got stomped in the Finals by Cleveland, 4-1. Anthony Davis gets knocked out of the finals in Game 1 due to concussion, which was the worst loss I have suffered in the game. I have Omer Asik, Ryan Anderson, Kent Bazemore and Eric Gordon starting with me. Don't get me wrong, but I learned the hard way (and broke MJ's playoff single game scoring record) that not having any good starters will be a miserable and difficult play. I won my only game in the Finals via buzzer beater that gave me 73 points to end the game, 123-120.

Now, Anthony Davis left to sign with Brooklyn (and ironically re-injured his head during the post season, leaving him out for the season)and we have the same lineup as we did in the Finals. I was hoping they'd bring in at least a player of starter caliber to help me out, but nope, just draft scrubs.

I wish I could trust my team not to make stupid signings and trades.

Year 2 I was working to get AD and Lillard to my team because we had 30+ million in available cap space, they traded Zeller for Millsap's huge contract, even though Cody Zeller was averaging 11 and 8 during the season. They signed Jerami Grant to a 4 year 15 million dollar deal and resigned MKG for 4 years 26 million killing all of our cap space.

Year 3 they traded Kemba Walker for old as crap Tony Parker, they trade MKG for Gallo and Diaw, picking up Diaw's 2 years and 14 million and Gallo's 2 years and 23 million, the good part about that was Gallo has better offense than MKG and his second year is a team option and I hoping they don't pick it up.

I'm just hoping they don't trade PJ Hairston like they did Zeller and Walker.

Made a SF. 6'8, 235. Was gonna be a 3pt specialist first few seasons then expand my arsenal but with these **** attribute brackets I was one of the best scorers in the game...since day 1. PHX declined me opportunity for 10-day contract but was eventually signed by Hawks cracking the lineup in conference semifinals. Got few trip-dubs along the way shooting 52/42/93 in the playoffs with 12/7/4 stats. I think that's realistic. Lost in the Finals to Spurs in 7 games. Was awesome experience, every game was close and I did hit few clutch shots earning Prime Time badge.

Come off-season I wanted to join Rockets, Lakers or Knicks. For obvious reasons, big market + a star or two in the team. All of them offered me a contract and I chose Lakers.

Starting line-up consists of Beverley(79), Kobe(84 rated!), me (87), Randle (83), JHill (80) with a bench of Nick Young, Ed Davis and one more relevant PG...forgot who it was.

Verry happy with the team. Hoping for a playoff appearance and maybe a chance to give Kobe his last shot for a ring. It's not like we don't have a shot at it.

6'7" pass first PG on the NYK. HOF Sim.

So getting Big Al, and Dirk to join my team has turned out great after a rough start(we were playing .500 basketball through about the 1st 30 games). We are now 2nd in the east, just a .5 game behind PHI who we have one more game against, and if they keep up their good play we can take them that one game, and take the lead in the conference of need be. But, I doubt they'll keep winning how we're winning for the next month and a half. Back to Big Al and Dirk. They are perfect because they can shoot and are aggressive shooters. Perfect for my play style, and are a big reason we are thriving this season.
