Nothing from the announcers like how they used to do in 2K's College hoops series.

That's something that I really want them to give a lot of attention in 2K16. When I'm breaking records (team, personal, career, season, etc).. I want to hear the announcers talking about, have cut-scenes dedicated to it, etc.

I'm contemplating joining the rockets in free agency but I feel like mycareer is glitched since james harden has been injured with a torn mcl since 2 games into year 1 and I'm nearing the end of year 2 and he's still Injured. Anybody know what's up?

Yeah, the game will play injured players for no apparent reason. So if you look at harden's averages, he probably has like 1MPG for the season, and he just never recovers. Kyrie and Tristan Thompson took two years to recover from an ankle sprain because they played every single game while injured and it meant they were terrible on the court. Serious issue.

I remember in 2k13 i could have 21 a game but have like 10 ast and still win alot of games, but now if i put up just that my team would get blown out regularly. If i put up 30 and 2 im more likely to win a game, as opposed to if i put up 21 and 10ast. I thought 2k13 had the worst mc and i think its better than 2k15 mc. Im a pass first player so it irritates me that i gotta be a iso ball stopping 30 a night guy to win in this game. In other 2ks i could be pass first and still win, but in this game theyve somehow managed to improve the way ur teammates play while still making them terribly inconsistent on both ends of the floor. If i gotta play this game 2ks way in order to win, then im done. I would still play this mode, even with all the other cheese involved if 2k would just make the game fair. Thats all i want, the other cheesy stuff would be bareable, if my team could play just as compitently, and have the same advantages on both ends of the floor as the cpu opponent. Instead i get this crap where the cpu gets a million and 1s, senses and tries to steal(and successfully does so on most occasions) every pass, and nails a higher % of their open shots than my team does, plus im tired of how they rotate on defense perfectly everytime, but my teammates couldnt defend a rock if they tried.and im sick of scrubs on the other team hitting higher difficulty shots than the best shot creators on my own team, and dont get me started on the number of blown fastbreak oppertunites. I know im ranting here but i just lost 3 strait games to bad teams because of bs like this, where my team played like elementary school kids going up against a team of nba champions. and what makes it bad is im not even on a bad team, i actually have a contender.

              Sorry for the rant.

EXACTLY , so much CHEESE a.k.a B.S happens . CPU almost always gets loose balls , makes apart every shot on every possession . 2K15 gameplay is great but SO much B.S I never ever went through in 2K13. It seems like the higher the difficulty , more the BS. When I'm playing and something dumb happens I just stop playing and look at the screen and just say "really , really 2K? Ok." It's just annoying how 2K cheats so you can't win . Sometime I just feel like playing 2K13. But ever since I've made my SF (I was always a PG) it's SLIGHTLY less cheese and I say slightly because it still happens a lot . And someone's gonna say I'm not good or something when I've been playing 2K for years and I know their game. They must play below Superstar because they don't know the B.s that happens to make you lose. CPU making contested jumpers while an open D Lillard bricks and open 3. Just so much...

I had 'quit' the game a week ago because I would sigh about a 100 times a game at the BS that would happen. The routine missing of shots that the average NBA player would make 99.9% of the time....yet it happens MULTIPLE TIMES a game. Anyone who is not frustrated plays on the easy level where the BS is much less pronounced.

I was weak in my "I quit" resolve so I jumped in to play just a "fun game". I told myself I don't care who wins or how much BS there is. It was against the Heat in Miami. As they did the pregame chat I thought "Oh...we are IN Miami...this means Wade will make most...if not all... Of his first 7 shot plus Granger and that short U Conn pg will be world beaters and at the same time my team will play shoddy Def and we will miss easy layups." I shook it off and said " I don't care". Well, Wade was 6-7, my team missed point blank shots and the two role players I mentioned above were 6-6 from the three point line all in the first half. At each injustice (ie the computer makes all of thr shots yet make mine team...including my guy who missed two dunks, look bush league.

I put the controller down and turned the power off. It does not matter at this point but I went to another blog and responded to a person asking about the game and told how scripted it was and to save his money.

I hold out ZERO hope that 2k16 will fix any of these issues as it will only be a slight modification to the code they use now. I will not be buying it unless I read on this site that they game is not scripted.

                  Game...over

It's official, Russell Westbrook is the best player of all-time on 2K. I'm playing OKC in the Finals. In game 2 he scored 62, yes, 62 points on 60%ish shooting and in the first half of game 3 he dropped 36 points on 15/19 shooting.

Exactly. I even started a Center to see if I'd experience what alwayscivilmike does - I don't.

Usually the cheese is related to keeping the game "close" or "interesting" for people and if you continue to play good clean ball you should end up winning in the end most games.

I even had three blowouts this year - something I never had in prior years going back to 2k10.

                        Edit:

This is ironic coming the day after Westbrook's all-star performance yesterday.

Yeah same, idk what these guys are talking about. Like I said, there are definitely some moments where I'll be like...yeah right but I've had no trouble winning, beating good teams, putting up good numbers, and making the playoffs.

I just finished my first season with the Phoenix Suns, we were like 7 games below .500 when I started and we ended up being the 7th seed and at one point had a 12 game winning streak.

                          Lots of fun this year.

I'd say to double-team him, but well, that just means that KD will likely go off. Are you guarding him? If so, try a hard foul & just don't go for steals. Pray that 2K grants mercy on your soul, lol.

Not Winning? I never said anything not being able to win. I basically win every game I play, this goes doubly for when I play my center. I blow teams out by 15 PTS or more especially at home. My comments had nothing to do with any of that. It had to do with the game being scripted. "Keeping it close" is called being scripted. I have no interest in playing 40 mins knowing that regardless of how I play it will be close at the end because of the game making it so. How it will make my guys miss wide open layups and dunks for the sake of keeping it close. That is called scripted. If I can predict how the superstar and the role players are going to shoot....and almost nail the exact numbers I might add... That screams the game being FIXED. I don't mind contested shots going in or even the horrible defense sometimes as I can adjust to help. I don't mind the other team getting hot or playing tough D. Its when the 'fix' is SOOOO blatant that you want to throw the controller through the wall. THAT...is what I can't stand. I HATE RIGGED GAMESSSSS. I HATE the computer making my great star players...play like crap forcing my guy to have to have stats that Wilt Chamberlin would say wow about. I don't care who is on on my team now because they will shoot 40% or less. That's just STUPID.

I am happy you all have no problem with these games. You get to continue to enjoy it. I on the other hand can't.

Just ignore my biased rant and dunk one for me.

i'm new to NBA 2k15, i bought the game over christmas just for my career. I chose to be a PG that can shoot the 3. I don't trust the CPU to handle the ball. Nothing crazy, 6'3 213.

My first season i was with the jazz. Unfortunately, i could score 50 and still lose by 20. Pretty frustrating at first. Although i tried to keep remembering that their highest rated player was an 81 i think. In the off season I want to see what was out there.

The interactions make these decisions tough. I had teammates stopping by and Tyson Chandler tried to get me to go to the mavs. it was hard to leave the jazz because they were the first team to give me a chance, but it came down to them, the lakers, Mavs, or rockets. I choose the Rockets they offered the most money, and have Harden and Howard. I was thinking Big 3. Maybe we could win and the game wouldn't be as frustrating.

I was right. Right now, we're 22-11. Tied with the spurs for first in our division. Dwight Howard hasn't played a game yet. Our team chemistry is 97% and while my coach satisfaction is around 57% Biggest thing i noticed is how much have a high rated teammate helps. James Harden helps so much. I don't get frustrated now. Although we struggle against teams that can rebound. We generally lose to the Grizzles and Spurs. They just rebound and dominate down low.

On the topic of Westbrook, I couldn't guard him. He dropped 50 on us, and torched me for the game winning layup. I'm not mad about it, I'm happy that ratings actually matter plus i'm not the best defender.
