I agree with both of you, however playing 6min quarters makes me lead scoring with an average of 20-25 points while CPU players in other teams (Lebron, Harden, etc) average more than 28 assuming they play 12' quarters

You will have to up your mins per qtr. I play 9 mins because it more realistic for stats. Last year i would have scored 50 a night but now i score 30-40...unless they are terrible then its possible i got for more.
You cant win MVP unless you do that cuz LeBron is going to avg 30 pts a night.Comeback can happen...thanks to EA Sports!Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I have no clue if the patch made the teammate AI better but here's what happened just this morning
TL;DR I was able to get Damian Lillard to score 63 points after patch#4 on HoF Simulation 12min quarters.
I'm a 89 OVR SF on my 3rd season with the Pistons. Requested for Lillard and Davis in the offseason and only got Lillard. Starting lineup is ok but our SG & bench is extremely weak
PG- Lillard
SG - KCP/Meeks
SF - Me
PF - Monroe (team re-signed him so that's why I think they didn't get AD)
C - Drummond
I don't have on court coach so most of the time I just try to drive and kick to Lillard for a 3 or screen him to get him to score if I'm not cheesing.
Anyways, I was able to get him to score 63 points against the Nuggets while I scored a 25 triple double with 16 assists (most, but not all, going to Lillard).
He ended up hitting 11/13 threes and finished a lot of layups and midrange J's. He did miss a good amount of FT's though which I think is because HoF reduces FT ratings.
I'm still in shock he was able to do that given how much you have to do all the scoring for your team.
EDIT: I don't have dimer but I do have lvl 20 playmaker and floor general as a badge.Comment

My best big man keeps getting injured. This is getting annoying. I want to turn injuries off. They take away the fun.My random gameplay youtube:

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I wish this patch made my teammates better on defense and offense. The shot timer being fixed is a bonus since I play a lot of Park/Rec.
Anyways just started back MyCareer and finished my PG season. Decided to go to Miami because of the White, Black, and Red color schemes.
Also played game 4 of the conference finals with my SF and it was quite fun playing with the new patch. Despite missing some A shots on Superstar/Casual, the game was pretty intense. I'm most likely going to face the Raptors(the team I started my career with) in the finals. If i don't get the option to bring 2-3 players to the team. Then Ima just get traded.
Almost finished with my center first season. Going to go for tenacious rebounder in the second season with him since I was just playing around with him.Last edited by TrustedDegree4; 03-15-2015, 05:56 AM.Comment

Aren't there injuries in myTeam? I literally only play my career.
I would at least love to have the option to turn it off like in 2K14 (or was it 13?).
I played in the playoffs against the Cavs and both Lebron and Kyrie were injured. Where is the fun in that? Its fun to see what cheese they throw up.
Also its ruining my pass first pg. Putting up 50 a night isnt exactly "pass first".My random gameplay youtube:

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Mechanics that emphasis "Running the Offense through You" and the preferences given by the ai to the human player are the issue here. This year it was so out of whack that the 2K team even had to dial that ish back a notch after our constant whining. (Mine included).
MyCareer takes a lot if its cues from the Association and GM modes but for some reason the MyCareer team still has this belief that we want to be MJ in SpaceJam instead of focusing on what truly made this mode popular in the first place.
Every time they stray from the core and try to increase gimmicks and flashy "hip" elements they screw up.Comment

The whole story stuff gots to go. Keep it simple. My first game was 2K11 and I was drafted by the Knicks and I sucked. So I got sent to the D-League. None of this undrafted stuff with an agent and all of that, none of this being drafted then sitting a couple games before a team mate gets a scripted injury. I dropped down till I proved myself. That's how it should be, it's more realistic and stops MyCareer from becoming a story mode, which it should never be. Sports games shouldn't have story modes.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Well decided to remodel my SF. Gave him a name Change and change how he looks a little to resemble Melo.
Played 2 games with him. First game was game 5 of the finals against the Spurs. It was really a game to see what I can do with Melo jumpshot and what I can't. Ended up shooting something like 23-41 with 5-17 3pt shots. Ended up with like 56 points and beat the Spurs.
Second game I played the Raptors in the Finals. Lowry got injured in the first quarter and is out for the season. It started off good with me going 6-6 and 2-2 from 3. Ended up going to the Midrange shot a lot that game and ended up with 54 points with 27-33 fg. Felt like I couldn't miss. Melo jumpshot is money from midrange in MyCareer.
Also like that I do his signature 3 fingers poking the head thing. Wish 2k never did this attribute bar thing. Would love to be able to increase my Post Fade but increase my Post Hook. I hope they go back to the old attribute system. Love making my characters a beast athletically and then increasing their shots the next season.Last edited by TrustedDegree4; 03-15-2015, 10:03 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I made a Center named "Wilt Chamberlain II". Big shoes to fill. Played three seasons so far. I started 14-15 with the Pelicans, then signed with Philly over the summer for 15-16. I realized it couldn't work out with me and Embiid, really, since they still had Nerlens Noel too. Even if it was my the team my player's father played for at one point. I requested a trade, but no trade ended up happening. I had to move on for 16-17.
I made my player look a lot like Wilt, even with the matching accessories. So for 16-17, I was a bit hesitant on deciding on a team, but I found a perfect fit in Portland, who really needed a good Center to get to the next level. (No offense to my mentor Robin Lopez, but I'm better at this point of our careers.) Lillard is still there. Aldridge is still there. Batum is still there. Wes Matthews left, sadly, but they have C.J. McCollum, who's improved enough to where he's a decent starter.
Have to say, playing with Damian Lillard is the most fun I've had in MyCareer so far. He just gets hot out of nowhere and it's fun to watch! We do well together in Pick & Rolls. He's a little bit of a ball hog, but as long as he's scoring, it's cool.
We won a big game against the Rockets, where Lillard had 33, and I had 28. We're facing Brooklyn soon, who managed to sign Anthony Davis, so that should be fun.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
So im in the playoffs right now, I think im probably going to lose(which sucks because this lakers squad is a championship or bust team), but i need a secondary scorer, and not just a guy whos a superstar thatll come to my team and not playing anything like a superstar(like what happened with dwight howard when he came to my team). but i need a guy whos going to put up a legit 25 a night as a option 1b, or at least 21 a night as a second option.
I want to know 2 things, first has anyone had success with asking a star to come to your team and them putting up really good numbers so you dont have to do everything all the time(this includes them producing good numbers during regular season and playoffs). Secondly if i upgrade my attributes to become a star during our last playoff game before getting eliminated, and i tweet at a player to form a big 3 with me, will he come in the offseason? or do i have to wait for the cutscene for my gm to to ask me what player i want in the offseason. I need to know cuz i need a secondary scorer in the worst way, and if i cant get one i likley wont win a championship ever. Mainly because i refuse to play unrealistic and drop 40 every game for my team to win.Last edited by OkayC; 03-16-2015, 03:14 PM.Lakers
