Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
If it's like it was in NBA 2K14, you'll get all your accessories free from the brand that you sign with.
So I would suggest not buying anything from the store until you get signed by one of the big clothing/shoe companies.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
The Park is necessary to completely max out a player. Unless you're a PF or C putting VC into rebounding is pretty pointless so keep that in mind as well. If you upgrade to your play style, the other categories that aren't maxed won't really matter anyway.Chicago Bulls | Chicago Bears | Chicago White Sox | Chicago BlackhawksComment

Bleh, I was at the end of a game when the servers went down, got kicked to the main menu :/. Had 18 rebounds, too. But! I just replayed the game, finished with a season high 35 rebounds. Offensive boards in this game are so much easier than in the past.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Man my teammates are so dumb, Noah vonleh has misses EVERY shot he has taken when I'm in the court. Most of them don't shoot open shots so I never get assist. And twice now I have thrown the ball ahead for a fast break and they have stopped and thrown it back to me over the half court. SmhComment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Man, I'm getting whooped every game. Considering simming to the end of the year just so I can't out of this. My team passes up good shots for bad ones, then misses when we finally take a good one. The highest FG% I've seen our team reach is 41%.
I don't even wanna get started on how well the other team plays or how they always seem to knockdown a high percent of midrange jumpers. Anyone got any tips? Either for stopping the other team, or making it easier for my teammates to score.
For stopping the other team, that's more difficult. Try not to reach for steals, leave your feet on fakes, and stay in front of your guy (or deny, if your playing off-ball).
I just finished my rookie season, and after a few games and these changes, I'm enjoying this iteration quite a bit. Hope it works out for you!Comment

It's predictable too.. if I have the ball my guys miss a shot the other team rebounds..instead of going down court with it they call timeout.. if my guys are on defense and I'm on the sideline waiting to get in the other team makes.. or misses a shot.. we get the ball and immediate timeout.. one of the opponent ones this afternoon was with UNDER 1 second left.. one of my TWolves players missed a shot.. Atlanta rebounded and called a timeout.. 0.6 on the clock!View Through My Lens sports photography

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
They were just as easy in 2k14.. problem this year is my SG is 6'5 and STILL can't make the offensive board pay off.. misses EVERY standing layup under the basket.. I seriously want my 'Hustle' signature skill from 2k14 backView Through My Lens sports photography

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Probably be starting with my usual 6-3 PG. I've experimented running as a SG or SF in 2k14, but I just can't adapt. As a real life PG I really want to be orchestrating the offense. Just waiting for my new PC to get started
BTW-First post! Been reading a lot here, with 2k15 I felt it's time to take the plunge. Might be doing a Dynasty too, so keep an eye outComment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I'm going to try not to bitch anymore, but *******. If you get down by more than 7 it's pretty much a loss. I wouldn't mind so much if my team were capable of making runs, but any mistake is like the beginning of the sharpest of tipping points and it's game over from there. Jimmy Butler just blew a DUNK on the fast break. There's difficulty and then there's sadism. I realize that 2K wants to make it hard because this mode in itself is a bit ridiculous in the way you're able to rise through the ranks, but there has to be a better way. Even if they wanted to tip the shooting percentages at least let my guys get loose balls. EVERY offensive loose ball this past game has gone back to the other team. I've blocked 2 or 3 shots, goes right back, missed shots (?!) at the rim, they get them back. We can't be at a disadvantage in EVERY area. How could anyone play this and think it's ok?Comment
