That sucks. Seeing how irresponsibly the CPU spends money in MC, it would be great to take less so if they do make a stupid signing like giving Jerami Grant 20 mil we'd still have money to spend. I'd take a 4 year 10 mil deal over 4 year 64 mil any day.

it's annoying that it's just the same amount of every year. what contract actually does that? I know we can't spend it (it'd be nice to be able to on houses, practise court etc) but it just spoils the immersion a little

on my career we've won the west comfortably with 10 games to go AND our star power forward, Travis Sutton, is about to come back from a huge injury which he got in the third game of the season, just in time for playoffs. The only downside is that LeBron will go to the bench to make way for him, so I'm not sure how to feel about it.

The devs need to find some type of way for contracts to matter. Free Agency needs to be more interesting; it's arguably one of the more important parts of a players career.

It took me nearly 20 games to figure out why/how Durant was putting up such absurd numbers. It's because Westbrook suffered a torn MCL before the season started is out 1-2 months. Jeremy Lamb and Mitch McGary have missed the entire season, too.

Still, 18 games into the season, Durant is averaging 40.4 PPG, 9.8 RPG, 5.2 APG, 2.3 SPG, and 1.1 BPG, on .541 FG%, .436 3P%, and .892 FT%. OKC is 16-2 and their average point-differential is 19.2 PPG.

Also, is there some sort of injury glitch? I'm in the 2017-2018 season. The last time Blake Griffin played a game was apparently in the 2014-2015 season. Meaning, he missed the entire 2015-2016 and entire 2016-2017 season, and he's missed the Clippers first 16 games of the 2017-2018 season with a torn hamstring.

Yeah, it's a very ugly bug. I have seen players around the league with injuries like that. Dwight and TJones has it now for my Rockets. I am in my contract year, because of that, I am jumping ship after winning them about 3-4 rings and think I will join Orlando. I love the young nucleus they have. Even though me and the Rockets went 78-4 last year and currently 64-2 this year. Just seems like magic would be a better fit and Houston is wayyy over the cap.

Seem like a good move to leave Houston? I will definitely miss Derozan and Harden. But I've been here since the beginning on my career and brung a ring every year. Also, D12 and TJones injuries makes me want to leave even more. Our teams vs the Magic current roster:

                Magic:
PG: Elfrid Payton (78) Will be replaced by me.

SG: Victor Oladipo (81) 25 years old with a 85 3 ball and crazy athletic.

SF: Allan Mason (85) 24 year old CPU generated player. Is a perfect 2K player. 80 3ball, 87 midrange, 85 dunk and can even go in the post.

PF: Igor Ostrovsky (84) 22 year old CPU generated player. One of the main things I love is his 80 FT. Forgive me, I've been dealing with Dwight and TJones my whole career lol. He has a 87 standing dunk, 87 post fade, 89 hook. Also good at rebounding.

C: Vucevic (78) 27 years old and a very solid big man.

                Rest of there bench:

Seems like me at PG would take them over the hill.

I like the move to Orlando. Starting to win with them would look good on your resume. Two dynasties with two different franchises would be something no player has ever done.

Side note: I've noticed in the playoffs each season that major players go down with season-ending injuries.

And half the league is injured. Seriously.....

I almost quit mycareer a couple of days ago… My rockets made the dumbest midseason trade. While Wiggins was averaging 30ppg through approximately 40 games, the front office decided to trade him(22 years old 86 overall) for Dwight Howard(32 years old 85 overall). I lost it. Almost deleted the file. But I was in my contract year, so I decided to request a trade(to wiggin's team) out of disdain for the franchise, and wanted to see what happened once I signed elsewhere. Trade went through, and I simulated until the offseason hoping to sign onto a team where I could get the GM sit-down. I picked the pelicans. They had the most cap space as well as a 6'7 84ovr second year SG. There was no GM sit-down. I was ready to be done with that career. maybe the game. But then the off-season finishes simming and see this…
Conley was the 3rd overall pick of the draft in the offseason. This is the best team I've ever been on. I also like the new coaches playbook more than Doc's. Also pretty ironic that this is where I started mycareer. Time to bring a chip to NO!

Props to you for not quitting. Wiggins and Embiid are with me on the Heat and I wouldn't know what do to if that happened to MyCareer (knock on wood). Good luck to you on the Pels.

Can I create.a separate MyCareer for a player versus being the guy who's my GM?

                            If so, how?

Tony Parker broke his kneecap 5 games away from the start of the playoffs, in a game where we were up 20+ with 3 minutes left to play.
