Had a ridiculous game 1 against the Grizzlies. 10 of McGee's 18 points were from alley oops. No one else on my team could make a jumpshot until I took over and put us up 20. I finish with a crazy quad-dub.

I changed my jump shot to DRoses and now I make more 3's than I ever have. I almost got up to 40% before the season ended. And now i do silly stuff like this. http://gfycat.com/CharmingQuarrelsomeFieldspaniel

About to start up a MyCareer. Deciding between PG and SG.

Anyone have any tips, suggestions, house rules, etc. to make the experience more enjoyable? Or anything you wish you knew before hand?

Yeah if it's not the Suns, its either the Magic or 76ers for me... but usually in the MC files I have it's usually the Suns.

The 76ers have the 3rd overall pick from 2015(83 SG), the 19th overall pick from 2015(74 SG), the 4th overall pick from 2016(80 SF) and the 1st overall pick from 2017(81 PG) along with a few decent 2nd rounders(70+). It seems like they are actually drafting to fill needs and build a team rather than what we usually see with the CPU taking multiple players at positions they are already stacked at. They currently have the 2nd best record in the East(7th in the NBA) right now.

"One of a kind" and he is injured with 90 overall. How much is without the injury 99?¿ OMG what a player.

Can you post his attributes?

Sometimes I feel the game actively works against you when you're trying to set records. I've hit 30 assists 3 times and 29 once and each time, the coach either takes me out with 5+ minutes left in the game and puts me back in with 1 min to go or players stop taking/making shots of my passes.

In the last game, I had 30 assists with 6 mins left and the coach took me out; in that same game, I was able to get Hairston to tie the 3's in a game record but the coach took him out at the same time and never put him back in. I was able to get back in the game but I was surrounded by non shooter except for Gallo, but he would always hesitate to shoot or pass me the ball back.

SN: The All-Star voting has started and despite having 8 30+ point games(2 40+), leading the league in PPG(30), 3PT%(51), 3FGM(94) and being 5th in total points(420) Hairston is not on the list.

First season back with the Rockets finished. Record win percentage, won the West by 24 games, career highs in every category except free throws. 4th MVP award, 3rd DPoY.

Despite all my personnel accolades my team mates were phenomenal. Special shouts to my boy Dedric Tinsley who somehow only averaged 12 points and 9 rebounds. He's a phenomenally good rebounder and won us some games with his superb offensive board work. LeBron filled the gap at PF so well but was inconsistent. Finally the main man Travis Sutton. My favourite team mate ever who only managed 6 regular games all season through injury but came back and averaged 14 points 7 boards in the last four games after his return. He's gonna be huge for us in the playoffs after scoring 18 with 13 boards in our first postseason game, a 135-89 blowout of the Timberwolves.

Hey all, first time writing in this thread. I've decided to start with this mode as I've been a MyGM regular this year and after reading about some of your players scoring crazy amount of points or unrealistic stats with a relatively low rating i would be more interested in playing in a more realistic way. I don't want my player to score that amount of points if its overall is not a reflection of it so, what would be the best configuration to play this way? I play on Superstar in MyGM, maybe Superstar Sim sliders? How many minutes per game?

It really depends on your style of play. Some like to be the sole reason their team wins or losses. Some like to trust teammates more and run plays to spread the wealth. I'm of the latter category. I love assisting though so I'm averaging around 25/game(9ppg). However if you run plays for teammates often then you'll see your stats fall more into the realm of realism.

You say you've played 6 seasons across two players and this only happened twice. What makes you think out of all those games, 2K just decided those two games they wanted to keep it artificially close? I just don't believe in that stuff. I blowout teams more often than not.

Maybe it was just a coincidence. These very rare moments happen. I've never missed a green release ever in this game. But I've missed a green jumpshot in practice where the ball went all around the rim and fell off.

Thats not the first time Hall of Fame/playoff cheese has happened to me in 6 seasons. Just this form of HOF cheese is new to me.

Im not serious btw. The game is super easy even on HOF but the first three quarters are always frustrating. Plus Harden is a 79 overall and doesn't look like he is recovering ever.

Its just frustrating when everyone on your team cant make wide open 3's and the other team shoots 75% for three quarters. I know that my team mates will start randomly making there 3's in the fourth.

Well, it's always some type of bs going on, but I don't ever feel 2K wants you to lose and make the CPU come back and etc. if that's the case, I wouldn't be winning 70+ games a season.

Yeah, he most likely have the injury bug where they keep getting reinjured. I don't know how such a nasty bug went without being fixed this whole time. It's the main reason I am leaving the rockets because D12 and Terrence Jones has those injuries. I am curious to see if they'll recover after the season is over because I noticed the injury length goes down after every season.

It's not like that for me, especially since the patch. I believe my team makes too many 3s. It just feels unrealistic to me how Derozan, Harden, and Ariza drain 3s now. Before the patch, it seemed it went in realistically. The CPU also nails 3s too, but as a PG, I guess I create better looks and can take over. I feel it's way too easy now. I haven't lost a game since the patch been released even killing OKC who I used to could never really beat, if I did, was by a few points.

For those experiencing the "injury bug" you might need to restart a career. In my 2 pre-patch careers, the injured players stay injured every year the same injury for the entire year...

In my new career, injuries are actually healing realistically.

It sucks but it might be the only way out of this unfortunate bug.

Yeah, I'm definitely not starting over this far in. Something we just have to live with.

I wish for future patches to be able to fix existing saves instead of having to start completely over. Seems like it has to be a way.
