Will i need to earn ALL VCs again in order to increase my players stats? WIll i need to get all badges again for my player?
The VCs i got left in the career i run now will they be available for the new player?

Anyway...

We (Pacers) at some point got a 2017 1st round pick from a team in one of the trades we made two seasons ago (2015-2016) because we didn't make any trades last year. I can't even remember who we traded with that season. It may have been the Lakers or Mavericks since we ended up with J.J. Barea and Wesley Johnson. Either way, that 2017 1st round pick ended up being the #3 overall pick. Gotta love when a team starting Anthony Davis, Paul George, Bradley Beal, Roy Hibbert, and my 90+ OVR rated created player ends up with another team's unprotected 1st round pick that ends up being top 3.

With that pick we got Melvin Farmer, a 6'9" 256 pound SF/SG with an 84 OVR rating. He started this season (his rookie season) as the 6th man playing about 21 MPG. Then Bradley Beal suffered a cracked vertebrae in his neck and is out for the remainder of the season, so Farmer was moved into the starting lineup. In his 19 games as a non-starter he wasn't doing much. But as soon as he got inserted into the starting lineup, he started going off. Here's his stats in those 8 games:

      28.3 MPG, 21.8 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 2.1 APG, 1.3 SPG, .550 FG%, (33-for-60) .471 3P% (8-for-17), .818 FT% (18-for-22)

We're already unfairly good but we may be unfairly, impossible to defeat, no way this is fair good next year after Farmer progresses even more.
Dude I'm actually always looking for your stories! I want my team to become that stacked. With all of the cheese from HOF CPU that we have to endure, something as cool as playing with an all-star cast is overly-welcomed. I'm well on my way with this pelican lineup
      Me(6/7: 99)
      Baylor(2nd yr: 6/7: 84)
      Wiggins(23yrs old: 6/8: 87)
      Davis(25yrs old: 6/10: 94)
      Conley(Rookie: 6/11: 79)

      Tyreke Evans(79)
      Jhru Holliday(78)
      Eric Gordon(74)
      Ryan Anderson(70)
      Davenport(69)

The deepest team I've played for! My team is reaching all-time highs in stls, blocks, and assists. Everyone is locked in as well. I'm hoping we can steal another top pick from a team via trade like you did!

That team is deep. I would just hope Gordon doesn't get any playing time with me. His shot is that bad.

          Hahaha!!
It's so freakin slow man! I have to get him COMPLETELY open so that he can gather, call his mom, check the shot clock, realize that he's in an NBA basketball game, and then I'll just press on court coach to supersede the fact that he MAy just decide to pivot, pass fake, or stare into the abyss haha.

Lmao! He's the lone reason I'm not considering the Pelicans in the offseason because he's still a starter and I can not put up with my SG that cannot really get shots off and isn't athletic at attacking the rim. Can't play with that guy.

Who's someone you'd never want to play with? For me, I can only think of Gordon, Rondo, and MKG, Perkins off the head.

That pisses me off sooo much.

I've gotten to the point where I feel I can tell a player is gonna have a bad game by watching how often they do that on open shots to start the game when I tell them to shoot.

The last game I counted how many times I passed the ball to PJ Hairston and he chose the pass fake while wide open; he did that 6 different times in the 11 times I gave him the ball. He went 2-6(1-3 for 3) in the first quarter, finished the half 4-15(1-3 for 3) and 6-21(2-4 for 3) for the game.

I did the same thing with Tony Parker, he pass faked 2 times on 6 passes and went 3-4 for the quarter, 7-13 for the half and 11-19 for the game.

It kinda makes sense that, if a player is hesitant taking a shot when he normally does, that he isn't quite gonna be feeling it that game and play pretty poorly. It's still annoying though.

Jerami Grant. That dude sucks. Hard. MKG is awful on offense but pretty damn good on D. If you're somewhat of a scorer or you have other scorers you're golden with him.

You're right. But I can't stand having offensive liabilities on offense. I've never played with a CPU as good as MKG on defense, but Derozan is pretty good, but they all play the same D to me. They all sag off too much on 3s a lot of times and all get beat 9/10 in a isolation.

So it seems most is similar on D besides guys w/ super low defense that get blew by. So, I would like to play w/ a elite lockdown defender to see if it's a difference for my CPU teammates.

MKG is the only player that I've played with that seems to play like an actual NBA defender and play people depending on their skills. I can't stand offensive or defensive liabilities so I hate Jerami Grant, he's a liability on both offense and defense.

Another nominee for, "He good but he ain't THAT good!"

                          2016-2017 Season:

                          Jimmy Butler: 31 G, 25.2 PPG, 9.4 RPG, 7.5 APG, 3.2 SPG, .473 FG%, .384 3P%, .842 FT%

                          Dante Exum: 29 G, 20.3 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 7.6 APG, 2.6 SPG, .451 FG%, .418 3P%, .662 FT%

Hard to definitively say neither of those players are "THAT" good since they're young in real life and could get close to that level but I'd be stunned if Jimmy Butler ever has a season where he comes close to averaging 25-9-8-3, and given how underwhelmingly bad Exum was this year as a rookie, I'd be pretty shocked if he's averaging 20-6-8-3 in his 4th season.

Oh, and I love seeing what ridiculous combination totals the Cavs Big 3 put up every year. This year LeBron (25-8-5), Love (23-12-4), and Kyrie (23-5-9) are combining to average 71.8 PPG, 24.7 RPG, and 18.2 APG. Then there's their 2016 #1 overall pick Toni Popovic who's averaging 15.4 PPG, 9.6 RPG, and 1.6 APG as the fourth option. Throw him into the mix, and the Cavs have four players averaging 87.2 PPG, 34.3 RPG, and 19.8 APG.

Does anybody know why I randomly lose my Hotspots?

I'll have red hotspots all over the place then randomly all of a sudden they're gone. I heard it can happen if you change jumpshots but I haven't done that recently.

I think you'll lose them if you start missing in those spots. You may also lose them if you don't take shots there for awhile, but I am not 100% sure. That's just what I think.

I doubt changing your shot changes them. But you can check. Just equip a new shot and look and see if they are the same.

The Spurs are 26-20 with a PD of -2.3 ppg. They are defensive monsters when they're healthy; their normal lineup consists of Kemba Walker, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, Tristan Thompson and Nerlens Noel. Every starter has some gold defensive badge right now. They have John Henson and really good rookie defender coming of the bench. Their only problem is that they're missing ~47 ppg in Walker, Noel, the rookie, Thompson and Henson due to injuries, with the Walker, Noel, Thompson injuries being season ending. If it wasn't for Kyle Anderson with his 16 and 6, and Mason Plumlee and his 14 and 12 coming out of nowhere, the Spurs with only Leonard scoring would be screwed.
