every team we play against out rebounds us and shoot over 55% we shoot mid 40s and miss alot of layups. been playin on hof sim 12 mins..might try something else to make this more enjoyable.

No different in All-Star on my end

Finally had my first game where we were blowing out the opponent. Rose was having a great game, for once, and we were dominating. Up 20 in the fourth looking to coast to an easy win, when suddenly the game stops and I get hit with an error code. "An error has occurred in the following application. NBA 2k15"
I knew it was too good to be true lol

You know I'm just as upset as everyone else about how bad the gameplay has been, but are you really having as much trouble as you say you are? You've been talking about blowing open layups and things of that sort, and that's a problem I'm pretty sure is all on your end.. You gotta get your ratings up a little bit man. The gameplay is kinda broken, but if there's one guy on the floor that can score for your team, it's your player.

From my experiences, if you make an effort to play a really REALLY smart game and keep mistakes to a minimum, the games are a lot closer and you'll win at a decent rate.

Sometimes I wonder if the developers even bothered to play MyCareer before actually putting NBA 2k15 on the shelves. There's no way they could miss any of these glaring issues.

My season with Hornets ended in being swept by the Bulls in the 1st round. Derrick Rose dominated Kemba Walker all series; Taj Gibson MURDERED me on the glass all series; and McBuckets dropped 24 in Game 4.

So I'm in my 2nd season now. I signed with Bulls. Social media (according to my actual player) says I got a 3 year, 22.02 million dollar deal. I go to my player card and it turns out I got more like 13 million. Not really a big issue, but still is it that hard to have actual contract numbers match what's being "reported"?

1st game of the season vs the Thunder is a complete blowout. KD drops 41. Doc Rivers, in a stroke of absolute genius, starts me at the 2 and Doug McDermott at the 3. Jimmy Butler comes off the bench despite being the highest rated swingman on the team. Head scratcher for sure. D Rose only takes 9 shots because the majority of the offense is run through me, the 2nd year player whose offense is only rated 73. Umm.. ok.

Just started the 2nd game of the season vs the Blazers. Less than 6 minutes in, Nic Batum misses a layup. Pau Gasol, Lamarcus Aldridge, and Doug McDermott are in the immediate vicinity. Joakim is around the foul line with Lopez. Derrick is at the left elbow shading off of Lillard. I'm in the right corner playing Matthews tight to prevent a kick out. Aldridge grabs the board and goes back up. Misses (surprised the hell out of me). Batum grabs the board. Pau contests. Missed shot. Batum grabs the board again. Missed shot. Aldridge grabs the board and puts it in. The entire time Joakim Noah stood 3 feet from the action and literally turned around once, took one step in, and turned back around. Rose just watched. Pau and McDermott not once entered a box out animation. Timeout.

Next possession. They run me off a few screens and we end up with Matthews on Taj Gibson and Lopez on McDermott. I pass the ball to McDermott on the right side of the court, above the 3 point line. He has a clear passing lane to get the ball to Taj to punish the mismatch. 10 seconds are left on the shot clock at this point. Taj enters the post and calls for the ball. McDermott pump fakes twice, drives left and gets cut off by Lopez. He drives left again, gets cut off AGAIN, and settles for a stand still elbow jumper with a 7 footer in his face. No type of dribble move was attempted. There was no pump fake before the shot. No attempt at a step back or hop shot. No fadeaway. It was a regular jump shot after wasting 10 seconds of offense.

No words can accurately describe the look on my face when this happened.

I'm just going to upgrade my athlete tree until I get my dunk to 85, I'm tired of missing easy dunks. It's getting ridiculous.

I've got it maxed out and still miss like 1 out of 5 dunks, so don't get your hopes up..

I was having this exact problem. In an effort to actually get a shot up (instead of it being blocked after an obvious foul), I "discovered" that changing your shot either just before or during the contact results in a lot more foul calls. Try it out and see if it helps you.

It's a miracle, not only did I make it to the line 5 times this game, I hit two and1's.

Two.

To top it all off, we won the game by 10. I was so hyped I didn't even play the next game, just turned my console off and went to bed so I could end the night on a high note.

I started with a 6"11 C, concentrating on D and rebounds. I got promoted to starting 5...playing AS/SIM with 10/qtr. My minutes says 28 mins but im almost playing every minutes of the game without being sub. The only time i was subbed was when the team was leading by 11 points less than a minute.

Do you experience this? If so, what adjustments did you make? I did not adjust any sliders...just straight up.

Why does my idiot PG make bounce passes right into the defenders when Im trying to pass it to the screener? happens every f... time. 9999 TO / game. bull ****

Do I have to upgrade the playmaking even more for him to make a pass over the defender or what? I got lvl10 atm

MyCareer feels rather scripted this year. I can pretty much consistently call out how games are going to go given a few plays to gauge the situation. Other than that though, I am having fun with my 6'5 PF. Superstar/Sim feels a little cheesy...but hey, what are you gonna do. It took me forever to get the rebounder badge, despite killing it on the boards for many, many games in a row. Just had the best game of my career with a 25 pt/ 32 rbd performance. In a win, no less!

I'm not seeing many injuries during gameplay. Anyone else? When I play teams they have injuries, but not seeing any during gameplay.

Man I hate the new attribute groupings.

I created myself fairly close to real life and want to have attributes similar to what I actually do (normalized for NBA talent obviously).

But I cannot. We cannot create anything like a Iverson clone without having elite dunking ability. I am a 5'11" PG 2k! I want 90+ speed and quickness without dunking ability. What were they thinking?
