Whats the bug?

When i play in MyCareer i get to the rookie draft and then it freezes at the draft before i even get drafted by a team and i cant even begin the mycareer mode.

What mode did you experience the glitch/bug in?

MyCareer Mode

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

It happens right after the commish talks and the drafts starts then freezes before anyone is picked. It happens every time i try to start a MyCareer.

How often has the bug been reproduced?

Every time.

Do you have video or a picture?

Can take a video if necessary or needed.

This started happening to my last night as well - I'm going to give it a shot tonight erase all my data, do a clean create my player and see how it goes - good luck - If i have any progress i'll let you know

I found this on youtube i'm going to try it tonight - if it helps you cool:

SOLUTION: Edit your my player to different name. Start a new career, but make sure to name it differently and do NOT delete the glitched save. After this you should be able continue to play normally. Worked for me so hopefully it works for you.

damn i was hoping it worked for you - i wont be home till later - i'll give it go though - I was really hoping it worked -eeerrr i'll let you know my progress bro! good luck if you find anything before me!

tried the second solution also, got nothing. this is literally the worst not being able to play or even start mycareer mode.

I think the arena media for mycareer is bugged. I'm not talking about the intro music, I'm talking about the various sounds you can have for when your player dunks, free throw, etc.

I had to keep saving until i filled up my storage space - and then save over one of those files for it to work - ___ you 2ksports I swear!!!!

I've never had any problems with the game soo far until this morning. My game freezes on the team logos when starting up the game. Any fix to this? Please respond

Ohh man same thing happened to me. Tell me if you have a fix on this. It makes the game unpalyable. Are you on the ps4? Cause i think the patch for the ps4 ruined the game.

Load latest 2k rosters and go to play a game and it freezes. Then I go to main ps4 screen and that is also frozen. Wont let me eject disk, turn off system or even re-start console. Had to disconnect power cord. Upon start up of console, game would then eject. Would go and try to download roster again, and same thing, screen freezes and I have to unplug power cord. Put in "The Show" next and no problems, game started up and played 9 innings no problem. Anyone else?

Same thing happens to me. Only difference is mine freezes on the 30 teams logo. I had to pull the power cord 5 times since it doesnt eject or close the application. Played fifa after no problem. Did you update the ps4? Im starting to think that the update broke the game.

Whats the bug? Game freezes and returns to start up screen when trying to edit custom rosters. Will not allow me to scroll past Philadelphia to get to free agent list

Everytime i try to advance past 2017 in MYGM it freezes the game, ive tried uninstalling it and reinstalling, disconnecting from the internet and calling xbox support, any one else had this problem?
