Playing each game manually
1. No stats overlays during game at breaks or during free throws (player spotlights, highlighting team performance last year or through the season). Kevin Harlan sets them up but they never appear.
2. No player of the game shown following games. Kevin Harlan will announce the Player of the Game by name after Doris Burke's interview, but it cuts straight to the game over screen.
3. Not sure if this is a bug or they were just removed altogether, but I really miss the individual player highlights playing in the post-game stats screen or by selecting them to see their full game highlights. This was on the not-quite-next-gen PC edition last year so if it was nixed from last year's PS4 NBA 2K14 my mistake.
4. Occasionally after dead balls the referee holds the ball, preventing an inbound, for an unusual amount of time. Not quite sure if this is related to upcoming substitutes trying to get to the scoreboard table or players walking slowly back to their bench. I've noticed this happening in absence of subs, too.
5. Sometime for free throws by the CPU the camera gets hung up on a player on the court or at an odd angle from the backboard where I can't even see the free throw being taken. Doesn't affect gameplay, just strange and distracting.
6. During a time-out, sometimes when I pause the game and make substitutions and then exit out of the pause menu it immediately ends the time-out, preventing me from making any strategic adjustments. This doesn't always happen, though, so I haven't quite pinpointed why this happens.
