How would this work for Atlanta:
Horford and a 1st for Eric Bledsoe.

Just a random thought I had.

I really can't see this trade happening realistically because Green is arguably the Celtics 2nd best player right now and I think they could get more than 1 late first round pick for him. Zeller might be the only true center on the team and they just acquired him in a trade in the offseason. And they just got rid of Courtney Lee last season, so why would they want him back. Also Udrih just signed with the Grizzlies this offseason.

Hmmm that could work for Atlanta because Bledsoe is a major upgrade over Teague and they have the Dragic bros and Isaiah Thomas Jr. But I'm not entirely sure that the Suns would need Horford because they spent a high pick on Len and they just resigned the Morris twins.

PHX could let Al play out his contract as Len develops meanwhile they get a good post scorer and free up a person that takes minutes from the guards.

How long is his contract though? Yea that could work though depending on the contract length. And also Al could mentor Len. So it could happen.

Horford has 2 years left on his deal, so 14/15 and 15/16.

Yea that trade works out then. The Hawks get their PG for the future and now and the Suns get a good when healthy big man and another first. I haven't played 15 yet but can you protect picks, like make a pick a lottery protected pick? Because if not then that might be a little too much should Atlanta fall into the Lottery like they probably would.

I don't know. I've just been playing games trying to find the team I like before I dive into the franchise modes.

I don't think you can because I was looking at the MyGM/MyLeague 2K16 Wishlist thread and someone posted in there the ability to protect lottery picks. So unless it is a first round pick later down the road like 2017 or beyond that is too much for Bledsoe.

bledsoe is a major upgrade over teague??? dont think so but Horford IS a MAJOR UPGRADE over Len and the Morris twins.

PHX would do that in a heartbeat but I don't think ATL would.

I never it wasn't upgrade but it is debatable because Horford is injury prone.

Reposting this from earlier ... kinda got lost

How about this. I'm the Pelicans. Somewhat of a blockbuster trade.

                          New Orleans receives:
                          G/F Joe Johnson
                          G Alan Anderson

                          Brooklyn receives:
                          G Eric Gordon
                          G Tyreke Evans
                          2nd round pick

Salaries match up. Yes, I know JJ's contract is horrible, but my logic behind this is that I'm getting rid of Tyreke's long contract and Eric Gordon, who will get paid 15m in 2015-16 (so I wasn't going to have much cap space in the summer of 2015 anyways). In the meantime, I get to add a great, consistent scorer who can get the ball into the hoop, and he doesn't even need to play much defense since the rest of my team will be stacked with defenders.

Bledsoe has been in the league 4 years:

                            Year 1: 81 games played | 22.7 MPG
                            Year 2: 40 | 11.7
                            Year 3: 76 | 20.4
                            Year 4: 43 | 32.9

He's missed a full NBA season in his first four years

Horford has missed about 1.5 seasons in his 7 year NBA career

Technically I'd say Horford has played a higher % of NBA games than Bledsoe. Both have had injuries in two of the past 3 seasons with Horford missing more games.

I think Horford is actually more durable. He's played in 31.3+ MPG in every single season and has a much more sustained career.

I don't see why ATL ever does this and Bledsoe isn't cheap or anything and he's only had one season he did anything...for half a season.

Johnson is 33 and it's clear he's declining. After 5 years of 20+ PPG in his prime he's put up 4-straight seasons of less than 19 PPG. He's a consistent scorer but he's no longer great and definitely isn't worth that $20+M.

If I'm the Nets I take that deal all day.

JJ's not declining. He was more consistent as a Net than D-Will since he got there, probably due to injuries? JJ's pretty damn good still and both their deals expire in 2016, Gordon has a PO to decline/accept after this season. Idk why in the hell Atlanta gave him that much superstar money in the first place, too much money without superstar production.
