I'm Indiana and am doing pretty well considering PG-13's injury. I'm sitting at 4th in the East around Mid-December.
I originally thought that this season would be a straight up tank season, but the rest of the East outside of Chicago, Cleveland and Miami has been disappointing. I don't plan on making any trades for another month or so mainly to see if teams like Washington or Toronto start to make a push. However, if I'm still in the 4th or 5th seed around February I'm contemplating making a move.
In a perfect world I would love to have someone like Rondo or Dragic, both who guys have been rumored to be on the move, but I don't know if I have the assets to acquire either of them. Maybe a more realistic deal would be something like Hibbert, (?) to Portland for Wesley Matthews (who wants to test Free Agency) and Robin Lopez?
I'm not necessarily sold on trading Hibbert or West, however both of them have huge player options next season. Again, if it were a perfect world I would love to keep both of them, but I know if both guys choose to keep their options, then I won't be able to make any kind of significant moves in Free Agency. I'm kind of torn on what to do, but at least I have a little while to figure it out.
