OK who could I give up for Chalmers because I don't have much in terms of assets. I have 2015, 16, and 18 firsts and if those are the right picks they are the ONLY ones I have. So if I waited for Lee to return could I go Draymond Green and Festus Ezeli for Chalmers and 2015 and 2017 2nds. The 2017 is there so I can have a pick in the draft no other reason why. Is there a fair trade because Ezeli isn't really getting much playing time right now because I signed Bynum.

OK who could I give up then because I was going to Speights but I didn't think he was enough. So how about
Heat receive: Marcus Speights & Festus Ezeli
Warriors receive:
Chalmers
2015 2nd rounder &
2017 2nd rounder.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Agree, Green is someone looking at a ten mil contract this offseason. I think Festus my be too much as well, although I'm not exactly sure.
Which brings me back to my previous question...
Would the Warriors do David West for David Lee in the offseason in order to shave 5 mil off for FA? Would I need to through Ina future 1st?Gig'em Aggies!Comment

And I am not using Festus that much because I signed Bynum to a 3.23M, 1 year deal with a team option on the end. So that is why I figured I would give him away.Comment

NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Seeing they have little picks in general, I would think they would want at least one pick back in return preferably in 2017 because they have no picks in that draft.
And I am not using Festus that much because I signed Bynum to a 3.23M, 1 year deal with a team option on the end. So that is why I figured I would give him away.
I could see Festus and a 2nd for Cole/Chalmers.
I'm beginning to rethink trading West for Lee, as I might go after Draymond in FA, he could play very good minutes as a backup to West. I don't think he has what it takes against traditional PFs regularly in the NBA, but being in the East will help.
I like the Pacers going forward with
SF George/Early (acquired in trade)
PF West/Green
C Hibbert/Mahinmi
But the back court is looking a little unreliable. They are missing a SG and a true PG. I don't like George Hill because I don't think he matches well with either position. I might bring him off the bench as a sixth man, but I think 8 mil a year isn't worth it for him. I know I will have a top 10 pick for sure, maybe too 6. What would Hill + a pick be valued at? Maybe just the pick for MCW, as those 2 put together can check off all the things I need for the starting backcourt (besides consistent shooting). I want a PG who can pass, but 3 pt shooting would be nice as well.Gig'em Aggies!Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Add in the fact that West is likely to opt out of his deal at the end of the season and Lee has another year of a guaranteed salary that vastly overpays what he's actually worth and I would say it needs to be Lee and a first-round pick for West.Last edited by Freak123; 12-28-2014, 03:01 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I edited my post to say one or two, which is what I intended to say. West is old but Lee's contract is an albatross that is hard to deal with, so it's not just West he is trading for, it is salary cap relief as well. I think one first-round pick is probably fair though, you're correct, considering picks are valued at such a premium these days.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
In my Pelicans MyLeague both Evans and Salmons are injured so I'm looking to make a move. Even though they're both SG's I'm actually looking for an upgrade at PF. Anderson can slide to SF and I need a rebounding presence in case of an injury to AD or Anderson. I don't need anyone too good. Just a role player who can come in and play 8-10 minutes a game. Here's some trades that work out money wise, although I'm not sure if the CPU will accept them or not.
Trade 1 - Gal Mekel and a 2018 2nd Round Pick to Washington for Dejuan Blair.
Reasoning - It's still early in the season, but both teams are 10-9 and fighting for a playoff spot. New Orleans has Holiday, Rivers and Russ Smith at PG so Mekel isn't really needed. Blair has only played an average of 6.8 minutes in 5 games this season. With Nene, Humphries, Gooden & Otto Porter all available to play PF, then Blair doesn't see a ton of playing time. Wall and Andre Miller are the only PG's Washington has and Mekel would be a decent fill in in case of an injury. The second round pick is sort of a throw in.
Trade 2 - Trade finder is also offering Dante Cunningham and my 2017 1st for Blair and their 2016 1st. I would prefer this trade, but with Pierce, Webster, Porter, & Butler all rated better than Cunningham and Glen Rice Jr. only 1 point less, plus all of the guys at PF that I mentioned above, then I'm not sure that this trade really makes sense.
Trade 3 - Jeff Withey and my 2018 2nd to the Lakers for Ed Davis.
Reasoning - Davis would obviously be a bigger pick up than Blair and would probably see more minutes. This is purely a salary dump situation. The Lakers are 2-19 and are basically looking to tank this season. Withey has some potential and is in the last year of his deal. Davis has a player option next season, although it is low at 1.10M. *Boozer would probably work better here, but I can't make those numbers work unless I give up Austin Rivers, which I don't really want to do. I could also use Gal Mekel for this trade in the place of Withey.
Other Trade Finder deals
- Alexis Ajinca and my 2016 1st to the Lakers for Ed Davis and Houston's 2015 1st Rd pick
- Alexis Ajinca and my 2017 1st Rd pick to Indiana for Damjam Rudez and their 2017 1st Rd Pick. He's more of a SF, but can still play some PF.
There's some decent Free Agents at Power Forward like Rashad Lewis and Kenyon Martin and at Small Forward like Micheal Beasley and Carlos Delfino, so perhaps it would be better to go that route? My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague
Alabama Crimson Tide
Green Bay Packers
Boston Celtics
New Orleans Pelicans

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Wanted to get Brook Lopez on the nuggets and seeing how the nets appear to be shopping their big three ( williams, lopez, Johnson) I decided to jump on the opportunity.
Nuggets get: Brook lopez, televioc ( the Pf/Sf)
Nets get: JJ hickson. Javale Mcgee, 2017 first ( NY knicks pick).
The nuggets get to retool and add a solid albiet injury prone center; its important imo to add a consistent scoring option besides lawson. The nets get two assets that could be moved plus a 2017 first which is unprotected.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I am the Gm of the Boston Celtics and Im thinking of dealing away Rondo to take a huge step in the rebuilding process. This is my first year as Gm and im not expecting us to make the playoffs or anything. So my question is should I trade him now or wait until draft night and make a splash then. One of the offers that I received is Russel Westbrook. I would like to take this trade it seems somewhat realistic but the timing seems wrong, because the Thunder have no need to make a deal like this. What should I do?Comment
