Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I run a myLeague with the Pistons and I'm looking of dealing Brandon Jennings at the deadline. I basically just want another PG in return, can be of lesser value but I do want him to be a playmaker that hits 3's and plays defense competently.
I already traded earlier in the season for Gordon Hayward and Jordan Adams. So my roster consits of;
Unwilling to part with: Drummond, Monroe, Hayward
Don't want to move but will: KCP, Adams, Isaiah Austin, Dinwiddie
Willing to move: Jennings (obviously), Augustin, Butler, Pondexter, Joel Anthony, Tony Mitchell, Cartier Martin, Patrick Christopher
I was thinking of going after Mario Chalmers and Shabazz Napier seeing as how the Heat need a good starting PG, especially one that can function as the 3rd scorer and Napier really fits what I want in a PG.
My other option was Ty Lawson because Denver is doing terribly and would probably like to shake things up.
Or I could go after Ricky Rubio as he plays a style that somewhat fits what I want in a PG but I am worried I will drop in total points scored.
So what trades would work in these scenarios to be fair/somewhat realistic?"I'm all about that action, boss." - Marshawn Money Lynch

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I need a trade to get a first round pick that does not involve DWill, Plumlee, or Lopez. And if possible, get rid of Joe Johnson and that ridiculous contract.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Officially started this Hawks franchise. I want to upgrade the SF spot by adding Jeff Green Of the Celtics but I also still want to part with horford. I was thinking two trades.
Option one.
Bos get: Horford
Atl get: Green '16 1st
Or option two
Bos get: Horford, Carroll, '17 first
Atl Get: Green, Pressey, '15 First
I know it'll be difficult for celtics to give up their '15 first. I may even throw in my '18 first as well. Want to keep my 2015(6) picks. But this gives me a big upgrade at SF while at the same time will help me add another pick to obtain a SF via draft to groom behind green if he accepts his player option(sure he will). Gaining some cap relief here might even help me obtain a C in FA or trade.
Also this gives the Celtics a vet At C who could give the young guys tips and also build around.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
What do you think of this trade. Currently running a sixers myleague.
PHI - Mbah a moute, Thompson, two future 1st rounders (2016 i think)
For
NYK - Stoudemire, Hardaway Jr., future 2nd round
Basically, i got a reliable sg/sf off the bench in hardaway jr. and a good (compared to the bigmen of sixers off the bench) pf/c in stoudemire. The two future first rounders will hurt but i think i have 3 or 4 2015 1st rounders so i can build from there plus free agency

The trade is fine in theory, the Knicks get rid of Stoudemire's contract and get valuable cap space and 2 expiring contracts plus 2 picks for Next Years draft, although they give up a valuable asset in Hardaway Jr. If I were the Knicks, I would have given you Shumpert over THJ. (Also THJ is WAAAAYYYY better than the SGs on the 76ers so he shouldn't be coming off the bench.)NFL - OaklandRaiders

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Well, I'm considering the possibility of moving Brook Lopez to Oklahoma City.
I've been searching the trade machine for possible deals. I eventually came up with this one:
OKC send: Kendrick Perkins, Reggie Jackson, and Jeremy Lamb
My Nets send: Brook Lopez and Markel Brown (or Alan Anderson)
OKC gets a low post presence they can rely on. They also get something good for Reggie Jackson, who will be a RFA this summer.
What do you guys think?Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm about 10-15 games into my Jazz myGM and what do you guys think the market is for Kanter, realistically? He's been very subpar, with 8 ppg and 7.5 rpg in 25 mpg. I was debating on resigning him, but I'm more than likely not and going to let him go and not match any offers, or possibly get a trade with him.
I'd be willing the throw Burks in there (the save file is from before he signed his contract extension) to sweeten the deal for a potential bidder as I've been flirting around with Burke and Exum playing the 1 and 2 and it's been solid offensively.
I'd be hoping to get some quality picks out of the trade, but I don't want to rip a team off and try and keep it realistic. Thanks for any help I receive.
In myleague he has good success with ATL hawksComment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Wizards Get - Brook Lopez, Kevin Garnett, 2nd round pick
Nets Get - Nene, Serphin or Temple, 2016 & 2018 1st round picks ( Not willing to part with a 2015 pick )
Yes Lopez is an all-star but only when he is healthy... And he is never fully healthy anymore.....Last edited by Dirty_D_; 12-22-2014, 04:21 PM.NewYork Mets | NewYork Knicks | NewYork "Football" Giants

Yea NO WAY the Knicks make this trade... Stat is coming off the books after this year anyway and Shumpert or Hardaway Jr to division rivals yea good luck..... But with your 3-4 1st round picks in the 2015 draft your so far from realism....
Just because i would like a good laugh who did you trade for those 1st round picks ??????NewYork Mets | NewYork Knicks | NewYork "Football" Giants

i placed hardaway jr off the bench because the sixers bench does not have any offensive threats.Last edited by mjustin; 12-22-2014, 05:49 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Nets MyGM:
Traded Mirza to Denver for Darrell Arthur, reuniting him with Lionel Hollins. The owner wanted Mirza or AK traded, so I went with Mirza because he didn't fit my defensive style of play. I am now ranked 11th on Defense. I am modeling the Nets after the Memphis Grizzlies (Hollins old team):
DWill (Conley)
Joe (Rudy)
AK47 (Tony Allen)
Plumlee (ZBo)
Lopez (Gasol)
The owner wanted me to somehow get a first round draft pick. I am going to try, but I love my starting 5. Overall, comfortable with my team's play. AK47 shooting over 50% from 3. Hopefully my 10-9 squad makes the playoffs, battling Chicago right now.Comment
