Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Not sure why the Pelicans need Davis, Lopez, Asik, and Anderson. That trade only makes sense if Asik and/or Anderson are gone. That's a ton of money tied up in the front court with no wing talent at all.Tennessee Volunteers

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
After the first season? Damn, way to soon for Dirkules! Was he hurt?
Parsons is more a supporting guy for me, no leader like it was Dirks role for years. Maybe take a chance and change the culture of the team, go with an defensive anchor at the 4. Don´t think there are a lot of guys who can play like him, he is a 1st ballot HOF for a reason.
If you like the system now you could look for Millsap who should be a FA after the season or Aldridge.
Other PF/C free agents: West, Monroe, Drummond, Marc Gasol
Of course there is no easy solution replacing a franchise player.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Looking to take on the challenge of Pistons and the poison pill Josh Smith.
I dont realistically believe anyone would take Josh Smith at this point. So I am trying to ship Greg Monroe out for picks or young sf. Doesnt need to be a star but decent young player.
Im looking to trade with the magic
Pistons
Monroe
Singler
Butler
Magic
OQuinn
Harkless
Willie Green
Lakers 2nd round pick.
Decent trade yay or nay.Comment

I don't think the magic do that because Vucevic and Gordon are supposed to be the future thereComment

If you need to lose a star, ship Smith. I realistically think there are some terrible teams that would desperately take him. Try New York, Sacramento, Minnesota, or possibly Phoenix.
I'll adjust your current trade a little bit.

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Steven Adams
Thunder: Iman Shumpert + Sam Delambert + 2nd rd
Knicks: Steven Adams
Kenneth Faried
Nuggets: Iman Shumpert + Andrea Bargnani + 1st rd
Knicks: Faried + Alonzo Gee
Terrence Ross would never be traded unless you threw the kitchen sink at Masai Ujiri and Toronto.
Those are just two trades I thought of off the top of my head.
Be sure to utilize CleAnthony Early, Shane Larkin and Shumpert if you're not going to use Hardaway, as they are your only players who have any potential. NYK is really bad. Try to hold on to the 2017 1st, if you aren't desperate for a guy like Faried.
Knicks Get - Faried, Gallinari, Foye, 2015 1st Round pick
Nuggets Get - J.R. Smith, Dalembert, Bargnani, 2018 1st Round pick
This is a rough daft let me know what you think... Im looking at it as a huge salary dump for the Nuggets.......NewYork Mets | NewYork Knicks | NewYork "Football" Giants

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Could you guys rate this trade? I'm using the Clippers in a new MyLeague franchise and ive simulated to this current point in the season. We're sitting at 15-8 and I was exploring options that need to be addressed in real life. Matt Barnes shot is busted so we need a tall stretch 4 that can shoot. The moves I made are...
UTAH Receives: Matt Barnes (Expiring) ,BKN 16' 2nd Rounder
LAC Recieves: Steve Novak.
I feel that move suits both sides. Gives us shooting and size off the bench. I'm starting Douglas - Roberts in place of Barnes with Novak getting quality minutes in the 2nd unit.
The next move I made was off loading J Crossover. Really hated to do it since I love Jamal on the Clippers in real life, but in game Crawford and Reddick create a bit of a log jam.
I had too many players for the next trade to go through so I waived Ekpe Udoh. Jared Cunningham is lowest rated on my roster, but I couldn't turn him loose. Really love his athleticism so I plan on developing him into our next Eric Bledsoe hopefully. So the next trade is...
LAL Recieves: Jamal Crawford (expiring) LAC Recieves: Ryan Kelly, Wayne Ellington.
I think that trade is fair since Crawford can improve the Lakers bench scoring right away and the expiring contract is a plus. We take on Ellington somewhat bad contract and a young, big, shooter that was getting lost in the shuffle of the Lakers bench.
We take the cap hit and waive Ellington to make room for our last signing...
LAC Signs: Ray Allen.
I feel like LAC is the perfect fit for Ray. He feels a spot better in the roster. He won't be fighting Reddick for ball handling but more so just catch and shoot situations. The Doc connection makes sense too.
My current roster sits at..
PG: C. Paul*
SG: J. Reddick
SF: C. Douglas Roberts
PF: B. Griffin
C: D. Jordan
6th man: Farmer
7th: S. Hawes**
8th: R. Allen
9th: S. Novak
10th: G. Davis
11th: R. Bullock
12th: R. Kelly
13th: J. Cunningham
Reserve: Hedo T.
Reserve: C. Wilcox
* Chris Paul is playing with bruised ankle
** Spencer Hawes is out with a broken ankle.
I have a few injuries so I'm not playing with the full new roster to its full ptotential, but as it stands now with the injuries it seems very up tempo like I like. We lost a bit of defense loosing Barnes, however I think the tradeoff was well worth it with the scoring we gained.Last edited by Ejfalcon9; 12-15-2014, 05:33 PM.Comment

Bleh. If not then at least start Martell Webster adding another shooter to that starting 5 can be deadly, and Martell led the league in 3pt% a few years back iirc.
Two good trades in my book
Update: Just saw that you'll be cutting Martell Webster? Bad move, that makes your trade tough.
If you're cutting someone, cut Jared Cunningham or Ryan Kelly. Keep Martell, as he is a valued shooter with solid defensive skills, much better option than CDR at the 3.Last edited by JA Money14; 12-15-2014, 03:29 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I love that first trade. I can definitely see that happening in real life. As it goes for the Crawford one... I wouldn't, but if you have faith in Ray Allen, then by all means, fire away. All I can say is try to get a higher quality SF than CDR
