Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
No way a trade can happen. The only possible way is that Kobe goes to the Knicks in Free Agency. Or another possibility is that Carmelo can get traded to the Lakers.NBA 2K16 2015-2016 Ultimate Rosters -- NBA 2K16 2015-2016 Ultimate Rosters (PS3)Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I lost Iguodola for a little while to a broken ankle so I traded Brandon Rush and a '16 first rounder to the Thunder for Roberson I figure his size and defense can plug in perfect where Iguodola was off the bench. Was this a good trade or not so much?Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm playing as OKC and I'm looking to move Reggie Jackson. I don't want to pay my back-up PG $10m+ a year and figured I could get a young stud or someone on a much more manageable deal. I have a few ideas in mind. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
OKC gets: Avery Bradley, Brandon Wright
BOS gets: Reggie Jackson, Kendrick Perkins
Why?
OKC gets a young 3 and D player on a manageable long contract to play between RW and KD. Wright is an expiring big man who could potentially be bought back.
BOS gets a PG of the future (or a better SG replacement) in case Marcus Smart doesn't pan out. BOS would consider Jackson's potential vs. Bradley. Perkins is a big expiring contract to match salaries.
OKC gets: Danny Green, Patrick Mills
SAS gets: Reggie Jackson, Kendrick Perkins
OKC gets a 3 and D player who could be bought back on a manageable contract, Patty Mills could be that spark plug PG off the bench that is on a MUCH cheaper contract than what Jackson would command if we kept him.
SAS get a young, stud PG to play and develop with Kawahi. With TD, Manu and Parker likely to retire this year or the next, the rebuild is underway but with a good start with RJ and KL manning the PG and SF spots for the next decade.
OKC gets: Ben McLemore, Ramon Sessions
SAC gets: Reggie Jackson, Jeremy Lamb
OKC gets a young SG who perhaps needs a change of scenery and a backup vet PG to replace Jackson. OKC thinks they could develop McLemore like SAC couldn't.
SAC gets a PG of the future and Collison can become a 6th Man Spark Plug. Jeremy Lamb is a replacement young SG for SAC.
Which is the best deal?Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Parker is only 30...
Ben has been more involved this year with SAC and Collison is doing just fine at PG so I guess it would be Boston. Don't like it for them either as they have James Young along with Marcus Smart and Pressey isn't too bad as far as running an offense goes.
Honestly I don't like none of these trades. Have you considered the Bucks? Bayless could be the spark off the bench for OKC and Reggie and Knight could man the guard spots for the Bucks.

Edit: You have to swap Nick Collision with Derrick Williams to get salary's to work out.Last edited by SergentSandwich; 01-01-2015, 09:15 AM.Comment

If you throw a pick or 2 at Boston they may do this though. Moving Bradley's contract would free up more cap room and Perk is expiring so it's not like anyone would really be stuck with him for a long haul.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Doesn't trading for Jackson sort of negate the purpose of freeing up cap room since he's due to get paid 10M+ over 4 years. And if I'm not mistaken they are around the same age so potential can't really play a factor.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Long time reader of this thread, enjoy it very much. I am New Orleans and want to pull off the following trade:
New Orleans receive: Harrison Barnes and Andrei Kirilenko
Golden State receive: Andrea Bargnani, 2015 1st Round Pick (New Orleans)
New York receive: Eric Gordon, David Lee and Ognjen Kuzmic
Philadelphia receive: Amar'e Stoudemire, 2015 2nd around Pick (New Orleans) and 2015 2nd Round Pick (New York)
My thinking is that this helps the Knicks become relevant as Melo is getting older and provides some cap relief (and Lee and Gordon expire the following year) and Kuzmic is a rotation big man to back up Chandler.
For the Warriors, they receive another shooter and someone to back up Bogut alongside Ezeli, plus Bargnani could play as a stretch 4 alongside Green and Speights, and it also rids GSW of Lee's contract in order to extend others they want to keep, as Bargnani will expire this year.
For Philly, it is amount assisting the trade and they get picks from it without damaging their tanking and Noel and Embiid learn from Amar'e.
For my Pels, I get Barnes and my squad is: Asik, Davis, Barnes, Evans, Holiday with Anderson as my sixth man.
Is this fair? Can I adjust it further?Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
GS is giving up a lot and receiving little. Bargani can barely be able to get on a court, let alone be productive. Barnes and Lee are more valuable than a pick that'll likely be at the end of the lottery. That team is a contender, example of if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Don't Amar'e's and Andrea's contract expire this year? Makes no sense for the Knicks to give up cap room for one year of mediocrity with another SG added to the roster, injury proned as well. Lee is basically Amar'e, a secondary scorer, with below average defense who's been dealing with injuries lately.
Don't know why Philly's included. I'm guessing it's to relieve NY of cap problems, but adding Gordon and Lee negate that purpose.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Can't disagree with what you are saying. I have been working to get Barnes to the Pels and deal Gordon. Could Indy be a place for Gordon, as he returns home, can play alongside PG and big Roy... just hard to see what GSW could receive in return?
