Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Are there any good trades the Grizzlies should make? A trade for Jordan Hill would be good.
Grizzlies Lineup:
PG Conley/Udrih/Calathes
SG Lee/Carter/Adams
SF Allen/Marion/Pondexter
PF Randolph/Leuer/Stokes
C Gasol/Emeka Okafor
Earlier I traded Prince and Koufos for Marion and a second rounder
I Signed Okafor because Koufos was traded.NBA 2K16 2015-2016 Ultimate Rosters -- NBA 2K16 2015-2016 Ultimate Rosters (PS3)Comment

Or they would dump Bradley's salary if they wanted and pick up a draft pick.
That's what a salary dump isComment

How'd the contracts work in the Marion trade?Comment

This is the CPU, they're not letting Jackson walk. Its not a salary dump if you're picking up another player, of the same age, for more money.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm the Heat using 2K Opening Night Roster
Trade 1:
Heat get T. Daniels and J. Terry
Rockets get M. Chalmers, S. Brown and MIA 2015 1st Rounder
I'm wanting to explore this trade to let Napier blossom in his rookie year and get some real firepower from outside. I believe Houston will get a quality two-way sixth man as well as a useful athletic combo guard to run the odd game with Harden/Howard.
Trade 2:
Heat get O. Kuzmic
Warriors get J. Hamilton
This trade is to get another big time defender down low. The Warriors could potentially get a faceup big in the deal that could provide an alternative option when Bogut/Lee miss games.
What do you guys think of these trades?Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Nobody wants EG's contract, the reason the Nets were after JJ was out of desperation to put a good player next to D-Will. Dwight couldn't make up his mind so Deron told them to move on from him.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Long time reader of this thread, enjoy it very much. I am New Orleans and want to pull off the following trade:
New Orleans receive: Harrison Barnes and Andrei Kirilenko
Golden State receive: Andrea Bargnani, 2015 1st Round Pick (New Orleans)
New York receive: Eric Gordon, David Lee and Ognjen Kuzmic
Philadelphia receive: Amar'e Stoudemire, 2015 2nd around Pick (New Orleans) and 2015 2nd Round Pick (New York)
My thinking is that this helps the Knicks become relevant as Melo is getting older and provides some cap relief (and Lee and Gordon expire the following year) and Kuzmic is a rotation big man to back up Chandler.
For the Warriors, they receive another shooter and someone to back up Bogut alongside Ezeli, plus Bargnani could play as a stretch 4 alongside Green and Speights, and it also rids GSW of Lee's contract in order to extend others they want to keep, as Bargnani will expire this year.
For Philly, it is amount assisting the trade and they get picks from it without damaging their tanking and Noel and Embiid learn from Amar'e.
For my Pels, I get Barnes and my squad is: Asik, Davis, Barnes, Evans, Holiday with Anderson as my sixth man.
Is this fair? Can I adjust it further?
Other than that like Reyes19 said since GS is a contender Barnes and Lee are more valuable than a draft picks. With that said I think that GS would consider trade them, but just not from picks because they're looking to win this year.
I'm also using the Pels and have been looking for a place to move EG. I just don't think that there's too many suitors. Especially with his contract, where he rated (he's 74 on the roster I'm using) and his injury history. I may have to end up keeping him or at the very least trading him in 2015 when he's an expiring contract. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Johnson hasn't been the only case. Even in the past year you saw Andrea Bargani, who is both injury plagued and massively underproductive, and Rudy Gay. NBA GMs want to win even if that means taking a risk on a 25 year old who can give you a solid 16 PPG, especially if a team is in need of that, or in need of that position. Gordon wouldn't be the first play with a contract "nobody wants" and wouldn't be the last.
No worries, you did make a compelling argument, only it wasn't the right scenario haha.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Originally posted by Hornets and SaintsI traded Gordon, Rivers, and a second rd pick for Jeff Green and Gerald Wallace. My reasoning is Boston is letting Green go anyways and get rid of one bad contract for another. At least Gordon can contribute.
Then right at the the deadline, i traded Ajinca and Salmons for C. Joseph from the spurs. I wanted a smart pg to run the backups. I think Ajinca would be a good fit on the Spurs.Comment

How do this trade sounds?
Bragnani-first round pick for bledsoe
I know knicks can't trade 2015 first round pick..so i probably try to trade someone to get 2015 pick to please the suns, and make it realistic.Comment
