NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread

Any advice on the Pelicans situation? I'm sitting at 15-12 and looking to make a trade to open up the roster. I'm going to just eat Gordon's contract and not resign him. Any options on Tyreke? I'm also looking to trade Jeff Withey for a 2nd rounder but don't know which team would need a shot blocker.

This is a random thought I had, but what about something centered around Gordon for Josh Smith?

Gives you a good, versatile player to put out there with Davis and the Pistons improve at 2 which is their weakest spot IMO

What does anyone think about OJ Mayo for Derrick Williams? Looking to add an athletic 3/4 and to clear out the 2 guard for brandon knight

Playing with Cleveland, getting zero production from Dellevadova, who is a good backup PG? Don't need a scoring PG, preferably a strong defensive guard that can guard the 1 and 2.

No way you can make the salaries work for Smith with those you mentioned. Smith has one of the worst contracts in the game.

Agreed, which Is why I said the part about adding a filler (or two) to make the contracts work.

I thought about the same thing but Smith's contract is a year longer if you include Gordon's player option. In this scenario Detroit would have to give up an asset.

Smith and KCP for Gordon and contract fillers if needed possibly

Totaly love the idea with Norris Cole, huge fan of that guy. I don´t really find a way to give up enough salary for Smith, so I put this thought behind.

Guys I am watching now for the 3: Middleton, Derrick Williams, Chandler, Barnes

Barnes would be the hardest to get I guess. All of those guys can play D and score from behind the arc, but who is the most realistic to change jerseys this year? Some fan inside would be great.

Needed an upgrade over Wes Johnson at Small Forward so I traded Xavier Henry and Jordan Hill plus a 1st round pick 2015 (Houston) for Nic Batum and Meyers Leonard

1. What is a fair asking price for Andrei Kirilenko?
2. Would it be realistic to trade Brook Lopez? If so, how much could I get for him?

Portland would not do this, they're already set at the 2 guard position. They also have Chris Kaman and Robin Lopez at Center, Nicolas Batum is worth way more.

Derrick Williams and Wilson Chandler may be easier for you to acquire

i'd trade Brook Lopez for expirings, I don't see the nets contending anytime soon.

Assuming the contract extensions of Jimmy Butler and Klay Thompson doesn't workout, trading them for each other seems legit to me. Chicago may have to add a pick and possibly McDermott. PS i'm talking about them two teams in particular, I'm aware they can get more for Klay from another team.

It still doesn't make sense for Portland. Why would they trade a triple double machine for a third Center and a third Shooting Guard? Also, the Rockets pick will also probably be a late first round pick.

Kevin Garnett

*the big ticket returns to where it all started (and help develop Anthony Bennett) player/coach role.

Haven't figured out what to do with Joe Johnson, I was thinking SAC-town because their 1 star away from making noise. Maybe something like (JJ/teletovic/AK47) for (Derrick Williams, Landry, Jason Thompson & Ben McLemore)?

Naaah... Klay is restricted so the Warriors eventually are going to pay him, and he's worth more than anything the Bulls have to offer. McDermott doesn't really spice up the deal either because they have 3 SF's on the team already. Also both teams are really happy with their cores for this season, so there's no way they have a major shakeup like that.

If you prefer not to build through the draft id recommend adding Randle to that trade in place of either a 1st rounder or Jordan Hill. Gets you a young centerpiece that would look nice along with Plumlee.

I love the KG to Minny idea.

JJ to Sac for McLemore and whoever is needed to match contracts isn't bad either.
