Well I went with Philly because they are one of the only teams that can take on that much salary without giving up too much. Thats why I went with the 2016 pick, what if I move it to 2017? I'm not big on draft picks because I tend to keep my team intact, so draft picks aren't a huge priority for me, so I could just take the draft pick completely out of it. Plus the Celtics have at leats two draft picks in 2015 and 2016.

That's better. I think you'd have to add a 1st in the Knicks deal (the 2017 from Det). Jennings and Shump are about even but Amare's contract expiring is a huge asset for them.
I'd probably look at someone other than Green. He is one of their main rotation guys and that's a big point production drop off with Shump. Not saying it's uneven I just don't think they'd give him up right now after such a good season last year (although it would open up more minutes for TJ Warren)
Maybe Shump and Jerebko for Goodwin and a 1st?
So it basically works out to a 4 team trade where:
Celtics get: Monroe, Amare, Goodwin and the Suns 2016 1st
Pistons get: Rondo, Green
Knicks get: Jennings, Bass, Wallace, Det 2017 1st
Suns get: Shumpert, Jerebko
Looking at it that way I think the only iffy one is the Knicks. They give up Shump and a big expiring contract and take back a couple bad contracts, Jennings and a 1st. Not horrible but not great IMO. Maybe switch Green and Bass around if that still works for contract amounts.
You could probably keep Jerebko and everything else still be good. Gives you a little better return since you're moving so much. That being said you are getting a big man of the future, a huge expiring contract, dumping bad contracts and getting a future 1st (plus Goodwin who plays pretty well in game since he's athletic).

Celtics get: Monroe, Amare, Brewer and the Knicks 1st
Pistons get: Rondo, Green
Knicks get: Jennings, Bass, Wallace, Det 2017 1st
Wolves get: Jerebko
Is that even? I know Brewer is a very good defender, but with Budinger, Martin, Wiggins, Robinson, and Muhammed already looking for playing time between the 2 and 3, Brewer could be expendable, especially for some front court help. I could also swap Jerebko with Bass.Last edited by UNDERTAKER1215; 10-27-2014, 12:55 PM.Boston Red Sox New England Patriots Boston Celtics Boston BruinsComment

What if I swapped Phoenix for Minny...
Celtics get: Monroe, Amare, Brewer and the Knicks 1st
Pistons get: Rondo, Green
Knicks get: Jennings, Bass, Wallace, Det 2017 1st
Wolves get: Jerebko

Jerebko and a 2nd for Brewer is good I think, but just Jerebko wouldn't be enough IMO.
You'd be keeping Shump in this scenario right?

I agree with you. I'm not sure if the Knicks will really want Jennings. They might though. Anyway I'm going to be using the nuggets this year and I'm wondering if anyone remembers what Cleveland was willing to give up for mozgov in real life. I know they were interested in him."You play to win the game."Comment

Not sure but I doubt much more than a 2nd or maybe Joe Harris

I figured a 2nd or two. I'm currently working on a big trade on the trade machine. The nuggets could use a trade and that's what I'm doing."You play to win the game."Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I have a Hornets myGm going and this was the trade I was offered for MKG
Hornets trade
MKG
2015 1st
2017 1st
To Minnesota for
K Martin
C Brewer
I took the trade. Im not an MKG fan at all. I originally just did trade finder for MKG and Minnesota offered Brewer and a 1st for MKG and my 1st. After negotiating that trade is what I got them to agree to. I actually don't mind cause Brewer us a beast defensively and Martin gives me another viable scorer besides Jefferson and Walker. My starting 5 now is
PG K Walker
SG K Martin
SF C Brewer
PF N Vonleh
C A Jefferson
My bench remains intact from original roster.PS3 gamer Tag: Jeff82775Comment

Seems decent, the picks would be very nice for the rebuilding Wolves to get, and they unload a Brewer/Martin to free up minutes for their other wings. But... Start Stephenson!Gig'em Aggies!Comment

Yeah they're one of the teams I might start up with once opening day rosters are released. Deciding between Denver, Memphis, Detroit, Orlando, Minnesota

Ok so I just made this up on the trade machine and I'm pretty happy with it. I think it needs a few picks so let me know.
Nuggets trade: Wilson Chandler, Javale McGee, Darell Arthur
Nuggets recieve: Roy Hibbert, Jason Thompson, Brandon Davies
Pacers trade: Roy Hibbert, David West, Chris Copleand
Pacers receive: Javale McGee, Wilson Chandler, Ben Mclemore
Kings trade: Ben Mclemore, Jason Thompson, Derrick Williams
Kings receive: David West, Chris Copeland
Sixers trade: Brandon Davies
Sixers receive: Darell Arthur, and Derrick Williams"You play to win the game."Comment

To be honest there isn't much realism here. Pacers aren't moving Hibbert or West, and if they did they'd need much more than what they're getting back.
The Kings would also be able to get a better deal than that for McLemore and Thompson.

Seeing as the Blazers seem to be over Thomas Robinson and Myers Leonard, I was looking at a way to get them to Boston, they give me what I need
What would it take for me to get them?

*ok I also started a 76ers mygm. Do those of you that play with Philly keep the twin towers together or trade one of them away? I would love to see what you guys have done with the 76ers.
Myself, I have decided to try and keep them together and surround them decent pieces. I traded for Jeremy Lamb for my starting SG and traded for Chris Anderson to be my big man off the bench to spell Embiid and Noel. Right now my starting 5 is MCW, Lamb, Mbah a Moute(highly underrated imo), Noel and Embiid. My main guys off the bench are Anderson, Wroten and Moultrie.PS3 gamer Tag: Jeff82775Comment
