I think it's fair but also think an even better version would be Monroe and Singler or even KCP (whoever you value less). Either one could step in and fill some minutes at SF while Draymond picks up extra minutes.

Green wouldn't play more than 25-30 per game so basically he steps into Barnes role and Singler/KCP steps into his.

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread

I started a new MyLeague today with the Cavaliers but I want to shake up the roster to more fit my style, which is all about pace and space.

I know these trades aren't realistic, and I frankly don't care about that, so I was wondering if anyone could offer insight as to if they are fair or not and how do I go about making the deal fair if it isn't already?

      First Trade

      Spoiler

      Second Trade

      Spoiler

I think the first trade makes a lot of sense since the Kings have blown so many draft picks lately, they can use a proven talent who is still young and has a lot of room to grow. Waiters had a good season but isn't a good fit for me because he's not going to get anywhere near the kind of shots he needs in Cleveland but he can definitely get those shots in Sacramento.

I think the second trade makes sense as well because the Suns have an influx of talent on the perimeter with guys like Eric Bledsoe, Goran and Zoran Dragic, Isiah Thomas, P.J. Tucker, T.J. Warren, Tyler Ennis, Marcus Morris and Archie Goodwin. This would give them a very good young big guy to go along with Markieff Morris, Miles Plumlee, Alex Len and Anthony Tolliver.

I'd appreciate any and all opinions, especially if they are different than my own. Thank you!

As a Pistons fan I would take this in a heartbeat. Considering the Warriors get the best player in the deal I think it's fair.

I'm the Pistons and am looking on some feedback for some trades.

          Pistons Recieve: Rajon Rondo
Celtics Recive: Greg Monroe, Brandon Jennings

          Pistons Recieve: Patty Mills
Spurs Recive: DJ Augustin + 2nd Round pick

Desperately want Rondo and am willing to throw in some picks if needed. Understand Patty Mills isn't realistic but he's my favourite player and I want him on my Pistons haha. Any help would be great

I don't think the Celtics will move Rondo without getting a 1st rounder in return and some young guys. I also don't see the point in them brining Jennings in since getting rid of Rondo also functions as a way to get Smart more PT.

I like Rondo for Monroe, KCP, Dinwiddie, and a 1st.

On the 2nd trade I think Patty is worth more than that personally, but it is fairly good value wise I suppose.

The rondo trade is fair, but in real life the Celts want to squeeze a pick out of them. Add a future first. And the Spurs won't be trading Patty Mills after re-upping him.

I mean, you are losing both trades pretty badly, why would you do either? Down grading at SG? Why, Waiters will be needed on defense more than he is needed for offense. And Why would you then trade for another wing in Green, giving up Thompson? Varajeo is guaranteed to get injured at some point of the season. Thompson is needed for depth.

Playing as Cleveland and injuries are killing me. Currently have Kyrie, Waiters and Allen hurt. Need to trade for a backup guard who can possibly play both PG and SG. Who should I go after?

In regards to Waiters for Stauskas, it is a downgrade, especially defensively, but I love Stauskas' shot and his potential. Also, I don't like the volume shooter badge on Waiters, his shots will be infrequent.

In regards to Thompson for Green, I have injuries off and I like to play fast and space the floor, so LeBron will almost always be at PF with Love at C. I understand it's lacking a lot defensively but I play like the Rio Grande Vipers do IRL; run as fast as you can and take a ridiculous amount of 3's, lol. Varejao will get whatever minutes Love won't play, so I figure Thompson will be lucky to get any playing time at all and I could use a starting wing.

Basically, I realize that both trades are completely unrealistic and would be horrible for Cleveland IRL, but I'm wondering if both teams are getting fair value. I take it you think I should get a better deal? If so, would something like Waiters for Terrence Ross be better?

I appreciate your response, btw. =)

I think the first trade should be something like Monroe, Dinwiddie and a 2015 Pistons First-Round pick. I think that's pretty good value for Rondo myself and seems realistic to me.

Since you acknowledge the second trade is unrealistic, I'd say Augustin plus 2 Detroit Second-Round picks is about as fair as you're going to get. Augustin is a very good backup PG, so that's not bad value for Mills at all.

                      Hope I helped.

They are fair in the sense the other team you are trading is getting a deal! I am not one to tell you how to play. I like the run and gun style too (It's what I grew up playing in and what I coach). You are making system trades and fair ones at that.

Nate Robinson is the first player that comes to mind. Maybe Mo Williams. I'm a big fan of Dellavedova so hope your giving him minutes haha. Have a look in the FA as Seth Curry might be a good pickup if he's still available

I want to move Jennings as I now have Rondo. Any ideas on a trade. Don't want much for him. Looking for a expiring contract or a 3 and D wing player. Any help would be great

But I really don't like Boozer, I've always just had this random unjustified dislike for him. I'm also no good with him on the game either. Would ideally like somebody who is more of a physical, shot blocking type presence.

I'm also not too fond of Lin because with how I play, I like my PG to be able to splash the 3 more often. As it stands, I play Nash over him. Kobe is running the show most of the time anyway.

Anyone out there who would like either of these guys on their team? what would you be willing to put up?

Even though the best thing for the Lakers is probably to try to be building up the youth, Kobe isn't having any of that, so I do want guys who can contribute.
Go get brandon Jennings. I've always seen him as a guy who'd enjoy that spotlight.

Outside randle you really don't have the assets to acquire a talent of such however.
