Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Orlando Magic here running a physical defense and transition run/ pick and roll offense...
Not to happy with Harris or Harkless so im looking for a SF to fit my system.. We are struggling scoring so looking for a good shooter..
Option 1: Gordan Hayward (can he be realistically traded for)
He would be perfect but i know he would take alot to get. What would i have to give up for him. Im willing to give picks/harris/harkless
Option 2: Danilo Gallinari shown he can score good size great in transition
I know hes injury prone and has big contract but he has shown he could maybe be a star in the league. What would i need to trade
Other options - Josh Smith and Thaddeus Young but dont think they can proive enough offense...
Any suggestionsComment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
MyGM Nets
Owner wanted me to trade either AK47 or Mirza for a draft pick. I decided AK because of his age. I proposed the trade, and I got Vince Carter and a 1st round draft pick for AK47.
Now, I am currently 3-2 and thinking of trading Joe Johnson. I proposed a trade and I found one I like:
Joe Johnson, Jarrett Jack
for
Channing Frye, Ben Gordon
the other was Joe for Alexy Shved.
Should I trade Joe to the Magic for Frye and Gordon?Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I know there have been a few Celtics posts regarding trades but I'd like to trade Rondo and get some better interior defense. I thought about trading Rondo for Hibbert and a 1st round pick but wasn't sure if that was realistic.
So I'm asking:
Celtics receive: Hibbert and 1st round pick
Pacers receive: Rondo
Is this an even trade or are the Pacers still getting the better end of the deal?
Only problem I've seen with Hibbert is he's a fouling machine. It's not even a big deal for him to get 4 fouls before Halftime.
Any other trades that you guys would do to move Rondo out of Boston?Comment

If I were using Boston I would have to decide which train of thought I would want to go with for this season. A) Do I want to try and compete or B) Do I want to tank.
If it's A then making a trade for someone like Hibbert would probably be the best way to go. As a Boston fan myself, I like most of our guards and Sulley and Green (in 2k), so really Center is the biggest position of need and a shot blocking center like Hibbert would be perfect imo. The only thing different that I might do is add a big from Boston (probably Olynyk) because Indiana will need another big if the trade Hibbert. I might do something like
Celtics receive: Hibbert, 2016 1st round pick & 2017 2nd Round
Pacers receive: Rondo & Olynyk
If it's B, then I would just look to take on expiring contracts with picks and/or young talent. The trade that's been mentioned here with the Knicks was decent imo.
Celtics Receive: Amar'e Stoudemire, Iman Shumpert, Two 1st Round Draft Picks
Knicks Receive: Rajon Rondo, Gerald Wallace
Both incoming players in that trade are expiring and Shumpert may be someone you want to keep as a 6th man type of player. Spread the picks out like one from 2016 and another for 2018, so that you don't break an NBA rule of trading you 1st rounder in back-to-back years, plus give yourself plenty of assets to play with for the future.
I know some people don't think that Phil Jackson would want Rondo, but who knows really? Honestly, I don't think Rondo leaves Boston unless he's going to a playoff team, so it's difficult to find suitors for me. A team like Houston would be perfect, but I don't believe they have enough assets to make it worth your while. Other teams I would consider would be Dallas, Detroit and Atlanta.
Either way good luck and let us know what you decide. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Hmmm, not sure about this but I did the trade.
Celtics receive: Roy Hibbert and Rodney Stuckey, 2016 1st round pick, 2017 1st round pick
Pacers receive: Rajon Rondo and Kelly Olynyk
How bad is this for the Pacers? I feel guilty getting two 1st round picks for this. Is this trade ok or is it borderline bad?Comment
