Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Johnson hasn't been the only case. Even in the past year you saw Andrea Bargani, who is both injury plagued and massively underproductive, and Rudy Gay. NBA GMs want to win even if that means taking a risk on a 25 year old who can give you a solid 16 PPG, especially if a team is in need of that, or in need of that position. Gordon wouldn't be the first play with a contract "nobody wants" and wouldn't be the last.
No worries, you did make a compelling argument, only it wasn't the right scenario haha.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Your argument wasn't about a team unloading a massive contract, it was about a team trading for a massive contract such as EG. It was never a matter of trading away a massive contract, in fact the user actually wants to trade EG. Trading away was never your argument. You just went away from your original case.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Pls help with the trade, just started lakers myleague, again..
So i am not sure if this is ok trade, giving too much, getting too much?
Lakers Suns trade
Boozer
Wes Johnson
Ronnie Price
20161stpick(Lakers)
for
TJ Warren
Tyler Ennis
Tony Mitchell
(20162ndSuns)
In my opinion it works great for me and for them but maybe i am wrong.
Suns want to be good now, they are fighting for the playoff and Boozer, who is clearly not as good as he used to be, a good solid player and a pf who can help them in rotation since they don't have a clear power forward, he's still a good player on offensive end. They are stacked at sf position but i think they can find minutes for Wes both on sg and sf position. I also give 20161st round 2,5 stars value, i will try to get in the playoffs next year but who knows how good will that team be.
I want to get young players into my squad and with this trade i am getting Ennis, who will get plenty of minutes at pg position and Warren will be a starting sf with mitchell behind him. I'll be looking to give them opportunity to become solid playersComment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I was thinking..but the suns have to many quality starting pg, and they still maybe want to keep dragic...plus they still have ennis that looks promising for the future.
And i don't see no other team that would take on bledsoe contract. but i see your point....how to approach the trade to make it realistic.Comment

Just because a contract is big doesn't mean it's bad. They just signed that deal with him and he isn't underperforming, so why would they want to trade him just a couple months later? I could see plenty of teams that would take on the contract because he's a young rising superstar.Gig'em Aggies!Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
So I am planning on trading Anthony Tolliver and the Hawks were offering:
PHX gets:
- Kyle Korver (3 yr contract I believe)
- Antic (Expiring contract, wants to test FA, may just trade him)
ATL gets:
- Tolliver (2yr contract wants to test FA market)
- 2016 Min 2nd Round Pick
I'd accept the trade, but just want opinion if you think it's fair, I don't really wanna damage another team Korver like one of their best players. Obv he would help the style the Suns play.Comment

Only a few teams can trade for bledsoe contract. teams are tied up with staring pg already.
Thanks for advice.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Why not play Dragic at the 2 and Bledsoe at the 1. And then use IT Jr. as a "super" sub.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Oh sorry I thought it was the other way around. And you would have to give up Tim Hardaway JR, at least 1 1st rounder (probably more), and money to match.Comment
