Figured I would share my XB1 digital experience. I decided to download it at 11am today. It is now 10pm, and I am at 68%. If you look at your bandwidth usage on XB1, I have been staying around ONLY 1.5mbps. This is obviously not my ISP speed. Even speed tests confirm that.


I talked to my ISP, I talked to Microsoft. Their answer was millions of people are downloading it. I am sorry, I don't care how many people are downloading it. Unless you are using the 1990 AOL phone connection internet, a 46GB file should not take 20-24 hours to download.


I am not trying to be a typical American, such as "I want this right now!" It's the concept of me paying for this game and also paying M$ 60$ a year just to use their services. Only to receive a DL speed of 1.5mbps.




However, I could have started a day earlier. But now that I hear all of you saying it starting redownloading, I am glad I didn't I guess.


Is anyone else experiencing that DL speed for digital on XB1?

Im having the same problem, says there is extra content at the main menu but there is nothing , only a press x that takes u to the heat playing the spurs, its is i have 53 gb, my update says its installed, seriously wth is wrong with this crap

Think I'm having the same problem. I don't know what I'm supposed to do or where I'm supposed to go to download whatever it is I need to download.

If I go to --> Notifications --> Downloads -- it shows "NBA 2K15 - Update File - Installed" and right underneath that, "NBA 2K15 - Can now be used."

If I go to --> Settings --> System Storage Management --> Applications --> NBA 2K15 and look at "Download Status" it says 5472 MB/47 GB.


The heck is up with that? Why is it saying it's downloaded and "Can now be used" one place? And acting like it's re-downloading it in another place? Was the 2-3 hours it spent downloading it this afternoon just for fun?

Seriously, a lot of us should complain to Sony/2k/Microsoft or whoever and get our point across.

I want to get compensation for basically preordering and loading for zero reason whatsoever. I feel like this was very misleading.

Same here, the update dl'd in 5 seconds and said it was installed. Game wouldn't let me do anything but the demo game. Deleted the install and this time did not go into the Spurs game. I just went back to the dash and checked notifications/downloads. It downloaded again....took 20 minutes and it works fine now. Don't know why....strange

I will definitely be calling somebody up in the morning cause this is crazy if I have to drive another half hour to my grandparents place just to download something I already downloaded and should have been playing at 12:01 am like it's clearly stated.

I'm already on it...i'm so pissed...but of course MS is giving me the run around....gonna complain to 2k also...pointless to "Preload" only to have to "reload" i could've just went to Gamestop

This is silly. Mine has been downloaded for days, yet all I can do is play the Heat/Spurs game. I also get 3 different numbers for game size. I get 53 gb, and in downloaded I get 40/47. I also get the new content go to menu message. It's been on for over 2 and a half hours and no progress on the 40/47.

No idea what to do. I should have just went to the midnight release. This is not cool. As it stands now I am going to get up and buy a hard copy anyway.

That's the dumbest fukking thing I've heard/seen.

We were told 12est it could be played and ready, not 3amEST.

My buddy has xbox 1 and was able to play, why is it only some of us?
